  1. But do the planes really make sense? I mean they're only going to lease four aircraft for all of Canada. Is this part of a larger plan that we haven't heard about? Is there some reason why it's four and not 10 or 3? It feels like it doesn't really address our issues at all and it's just some sort of window dressing. I think a lot of the budget falls under that heading, the idea behind it is relatively solid, but what's actually proposed doesn't get the job done or hasn't been proposed with a solid plan in place.
  2. If you're going to try and convince people that you're somehow more knowledgeable than them claiming that letting pedophiles off without a mandatory sentence is a 1000 year old tradition he was probably a pretty stupid idea :) You are comfortable in the bottom 25% of intelligence on this forum. You've got no room to stand when it comes to a lack of knowledge of these things
  3. No, again that's not what awareness means. The best you could claim is that you are aware of the potential. Your problem is that you always want to sound cool and knowledgeable but you struggle with it a bit so you pick up gobbledygook words and use them inappropriately to sound insightful. But it just sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. I'm aware of what's happening at the moment. I predict the future. I'm not aware of the future because it hasn't happened yet. Honestly I'm going to start charging you for tutoring Well in the sense that I'm explaining, but I suppose if one were to explain something to a goat and the goat was incapable of understanding would you really be able to say that you were explaining it to the goat? Anyway I hope your head feels better this morning. Whatever the hell you were drinking obviously wasn't high end
  4. Absolutely nobody in the professional world seems to like this budget. My guess is carney had a lot of ideas as to where he wanted to go and a lot of his people who are still ex-trudeau Didn't like it and what we're seeing is a budget by committee that just didn't work out well. Why in the hell they decided to take the taxes off of luxury yachts and personal aircraft utterly flabbergasts me. Honestly, that was the big priority to make life more affordable? And during a time of housing crisis why did he take the tax off of vacant homes? A lot of the other policies start off as good ideas but the implementation is horrible. Being able to immediately depreciate Capital expenses is great but it doesn't cause investment in new business or expansion given the regulatory environment which the big companies have already said is a deal killer. So some domestic businesses are going to be able to write off their new computers but they would have bought those anyway. And he's starting up about four or five new bureaucracies above and beyond the ones he's already in announced. Special organizations with their own budgets to deal with everything from AI to charity housing of which they already had four. All of those cost money and all of them will be wasteful And anything in the budget that might actually work won't work for another 3 years or so. That's when you might start seeing some of the benefits maybe if they materialize, but in the meantime people will see all this money going out the door and won't see a single benefit from it. It is a simply staggering amount of money with no path to return to balanced budgets ever. He claims operating will begin to slowly reduce to still over what should I was spending but that's just smoking mirrors. This is just horrible. There's just not much to say. All we can hope is that Canadians will notice that they're getting no benefits and that inflation is still going up thanks to this kind of budget and get sick of carney before any severe damage is done
  5. Not surprising all things considered. Credible threats on j6? Meh it's just rumors. Unsubstantiated vague accusations in a faked dossier provided by the democrats? MY GOD - ASSIGN 63 AGENTS NOW AND IF YOU HAVE TO LIE TO GET A WARRANT YOU DO IT!!!!! yeash.
  6. We better take this seriously, bernie really seems to mean it. I mean look, he did laundry and even combed his hair for god's sake, that right there might as well be a red distress flare.
  7. And it certainly wouldn't put it past you guys to spend $12 billion dollars out of the future generations pockets just for giggles. But to be honest it's more likely that carney will make money out of this when he gets out of office
  8. I think his chances are better than not. Carney is at his peak, he can only fall and will as he continues to disappoint and fails to deliver and people still can't afford rent and food. The ndp will get back on it's feet, And PP has settled in to a solid 41 percent of the vote as his base level. He only has to improve in a few key demographics and carney only has to fall a litlte and PP will win. Of course you never know if you can force an election when you need to which is what killed him last time. Popularity is meaningless. Harper was behind every single one of the opponents he defeated in popularity by a good margin. Under the right conditions, Canadians don't care if they like the guy they just care if he can get the job done I think you're a little bit left of that
  9. You don't know what 'State of awareness' means apperently it doesn't apply to hypothetical future events. You can't be aware of something that doesn't exist. Why am i always having to explain english to you? And it played no role whatsoever in the last election. Ahh. You've been drinking. Got it As will be your head in the morning i suspect
  10. Yeah. Say what you like about the guy, nobody can dispute that Justin was transformative It just wasn't the kind of transformation we wanted to see. The real blow in my books is how people treat each other. There is a shocking reduction in patients that people have for each other. He played a huge role in teaching people to see those who disagree as enemies who must be crushed, rather than neighbours who you need to work stuff out with.
  11. To be honest that's one thing that's a little weird. Almost all of the benefits won't be seen until much later down the road even by the budgets own admission. And they will generally be very macroeconomic with the hope that it'll trickle down to the microeconomic. I would have expected that they would have thrown at least a few goodies in the people could look at and say "okay well at least that makes my life better tomorrow.". A tax cut or something spending on something that will immediately benefit people or something. But it doesn't do a single thing to help with affordability right now and that's going to make it a pretty hard sell to people across Canada. I mean if this budget falls nobody's going to be sitting there saying "dammit, i lost that luxury airplane tax break" or " I was SOOO looking forward to depreciating my computer in a much lower time!" Risky move seeing as this may well turn out to be a budget they have to fight an election on.
  12. Really didn't. Everyone says it was a failure of a law and won't resolve the issue. In fact they voted against a decent bail reform law when the conservatives put it forward And again, typical liberal." How dare the little people complain just because I walked all over them! No your place peons!" That's the liberals for you
  13. This isn't actually all that rare of a sentiment. I've heard it repeated many times: "maybe it's for the best that carney is the one forced to start to clean up the mess, he can take all the crap for the hell people will go through then we can come back when people are angry at him and take over when things are getting better'. And in fact that's what the libs have done to us many times in the past, made a mess, left it to us to clean up, then swooped back in when we get the ship righted and make a mess again. It's not entirely ridiculous. But the problem with that is that it only really works if carney is competent and does the right things. His solutions are not the right things. He's got the right ideas but his implementation is wrong, and will not achieve what we want. So unfortunately we're just going to get a bigger mess.
  14. Holy shit kid, you've completely lost it. Maybe you should take a rest and try again later. And i'm not sure a guy who ran the country for 10 years can be called a 'loser'
  15. And there it is. In the past immigrants came here looking to be a part of what we had. Not force us to be a part of what they were fleeing. Sure they would share some of their cultural elements so that was great but they didn't attack our own values that have made our country great in the process. Now everyone we let in seems to want to protest violently, bring their petty little squabbles and wars to our shores, and demand we follow their law. And I really don't care what color their skin is I'm not interested in that.
  16. By most of you I assume you are referring to the other voices in your head? In a roundabout way he's saying that he doesn't think Poilievre can force an election and win it in the near future. I'm sure, it's been a tough year and a lot of the conservatives are extremely discouraged that Justin Trudeau pulled the fast one and the liberals were able to slimeball their way back into power with a snake oil peddler. Any honest person is going to look at that and be discouraged. So I get it. And I get that he wanted to be in politics specifically to help us community, not to be in opposition. But if you're going to try and pretend that it's some great condemnation of the conservatives or Poilievre beyond that then it's just your usual stupid brain rot talking.
  17. You're not even remotely tiny bit a conservative so spare me the whole we can't win nonsense. And clearly we can win, he pulled for a year at about 41 to 42%, he brought in 41 and a half, he's pulling about 41 and a half right now. That certainly is enough in most circumstances to win an election This is why liberals like yourself are putting in so much energy to try and convince conservatives to get rid of him. I'm a little concerned that he doesn't seem to have learned all the lessons he could have since the last election but there is time and we will see. But let's not pretend that he can't win an election, in fact there's an excellent chance he can especially with the way that Mark Carney's shine is coming off of him
  18. What a disgusting reaction. Not a drop of empathy in you. Anyone you don't particularly approve of can go f themselves, yet you'll still claim that you care about the environment or that people shouldn't be deported or any of the other nonsense you spout. Here you go guys. Here's an example of the left today.
  19. The liberals have become masters of controlling the message especially when it comes to older people You'll notice that pulls before the election after the election and even the election results itself show that younger people, who are more likely to be exposed to conservative information on the internet, turn their back on the liberals. The people that still vote liberal are the older people because they listen to CBC every night
  20. Sounds like he's going to be giving them the extra money anyway doled out over each year. Their budget went up handsomely during this "Time of austerity" The conservatives are in great shape, getting rid of the Deadwood benefits them. Carney's got a bigger problem. And it showed up in his budget nicely. He's obviously trying to be both stimulating to business and an environmentalist and it's not working. This is definitely a budget by committee and absolutely nobody who's professional likes it
  21. I'm not responsible for your actions. I laid out the rules to you ages ago many times. You act decently I act decently. You throw hissy fits and have meltdowns and spam the forums then I'll use you as my personal punching bag and laugh at you while I do it. With every post you prove that you are a kid and not an adult. You want to get treated like an adult, act like an adult. Occasionally people insult each other that's fine. Occasionally people make jokes about each other and that's fine. But if you want to be a douche and try and take over entire threads with your weird little grade 7 antics then you're going to be treated as you deserve. Cope with it.
  22. That's pretty damn heartbreaking. Some guy gets out on liberal bail and while he's on bail he kills your aunt that you love. So you do the right thing and move to have the laws changed and work really hard politically giving up your whole life for a campaign to try and bring about change. And the guy you help get elected spits in your face without so much as an I'm sorry. This guy is a complete and utter scumbag. This wasn't some minor volunteer, he had to know her story. He just doesn't care.
  23. Kiddo you haven't tried to discuss or debate anything here for ages. You get out of bed every morning and then run around posting down arrows on everybody you don't like regardless of the argument. All you make is cheap and cheesy spam posts without offering even the slightest point of view. If anybody says anything you disagree with you attack them. Nobody cares what you think. You're a child who lied about his mother being dead to try and score sympathy on the internet. Is waste people's time begging for attention. You're not here to be taken seriously, you're the comic relief. Maybe someday when you grow up and learn how to make an intelligent argument things will be different but right now just sing and dance like you normally do and keep us laughing. It's all you're good for
  24. Sigh. It's only one loser, the other loser is just your reflection. That's a mirror
