  1. To be clear: The Supreme Court of Colorado ruled 4-3 that Trump is ineligible to run for President due to his participation in an insurrection. However; the Supreme Court of Colorado UNANIMOUSLY agreed that Trump participated in an insurrection. There’s a 100 page finding of fact to that point and so if your question is “how could they rule that Trump participated in an insurrection?” then download their ruling and read it. Because; LEGALLY, Donald Trump has participated in an insurrection against the U.S. Federal government. That’s where it stands right now, and that finding of fact is very unlikely to be overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. They will likely find some other excuse. By the way; your buddy Trump was perfectly happy to use the Constitution to invalidate the Obama Presidency, claiming falsely that Obama was not born in the U.S. Right? Trump has no problem throwing somebody off the ballot.
  2. Antifa and BLM have nothing to do with Trump’s insurrection.
  3. It is because the U.S. Constitution requires it. The U.S. Constitution is not an option. We cannot ban all guns just because we want to, because the Constitution says we cannot. A 30 year-old or foreign born Presidential candidate will be disqualified from running, no matter how popular, because the Constitution requires it. Barack Obama is disqualified from running for President again, because the Constitution requires it. In 2016, Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump by 2.6 million votes, but did not become President because the U.S. Constitution required it. The Constitution says the President is selected by a majority of electoral college votes, not the greatest number of votes cast. Even though American voters overall preferred Clinton to Trump, we did what the Constitution requires. And today, the Constitution requires that Trump is disqualified.
  4. How do you expect Donald Trump to beat a man who rigged a national election without leaving his basement, and leaving absolutely no trace?
  5. Whether Gore made mistakes or not does not disprove the fact that atmospheric carbon is warming the earth. Facts are facts. These videos don’t provide scientific data. NASA provides scientific data. Have you seen it?
  6. Don’t you get tired of being so full of shlt? You’re just a never-ceasing stream of false accusations.
  7. Explain in simple English; in a sentence or two, what the January 6 rioters were set to accomplish by attacking the U.S. Capitol, and breaking into the House and Senate by force during the counting of the Electoral College votes? If the result were that Donald Trump remained power past January 20, that would mean overthrowing the government.
  8. Here’s the problem, stlpid: I have never once defended BLM rioters. Their behavior was indefensible. They aren’t “my people.” I don’t support them. So you aren’t getting anywhere by comparing them. All of the violent BLM rioters… all the rioters, period, should go to prison. I never said they shouldn’t. The Jan 6 riots were caused by one man and his minions spreading absolute lies about the validity of the election, and convincing a large crowd that they needed to peacefully march to the US Capitol and then STOP the Congress from approving the election of Joe Biden. He told them that if they did not do this, they wouldn’t have a country any more. Trump knew this wasn’t true (btw: We still have a country, it’s not destroyed, the stock market hit an all-time high). You don’t like these facts, but they are facts and judges and juries have verified this hundreds of times by convicting these people. Nearly 600 convictions so far, including 98 convicted of felonies by a jury.
  9. A weapon is a weapon, and the insurrectionists did bring weapons. They brought spears, brass knuckles, bear spray, and other implements, and they then used other implements they found to cause more injury. I don’t know how many of them carried guns. Doesn’t matter; they brought weapons, clearly. “US Capitol Police Sgt. Aquilino Gonell testified that "(c)ommon things were used as weapons, like a baseball bat, a hockey stick, a rebar, a flagpole -- including the American flag -- pepper spray, bear spray." “ ”Rioters also used knives, stolen police shields, a stun gun, fire extinguisher and more. Hand-to-hand combat led to more than a dozen officers being sent to the hospital, some of whom had bone fractures and concussions. At least three have been charged with bringing guns onto the Capitol grounds.” Guy Reffitt, Christopher Alberts, and Mark Ibrahim are the names of those charged for bringing guns. Lonnie Coffman was sentenced for four years for bringing loaded guns and a dozen Molotov cocktails and other explosives. https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/alabama-man-sentenced-46-months-prison-firearms-offenses-district-columbia-and-alabama
  10. He did not explain the 14th amendment, so how can you say he understands it? Engaged in insurrection: Check. Court wrote 100 page finding of fact. Previously took oath to defend Constitution: Check Ineligible for federal office: Check
  11. If someone smashes your head with a fire extinguisher, that’s assault with a deadly weapon. If someone spears you with a flagpole tipped with a blade, it’s attempted murder. If someone squirts bear spray into your face, it’s assault with a deadly weapon. So you’re not telling the truth when you say these people were unarmed, and given all their violence, there was no way to tell whether they were going to start firing guns or not.
  12. Democracy is only held together by people. If Milley and Pence and a few others were committed enough, Trump would have stayed in power despite losing. Jan 6 was absolutely crazy. Trump lost, plain and simple.
  13. Or, instead of “alternate facts website,” look at the hard scientific facts published by NASA, who have charts showing average global temperatures over the last 100 years, and charts of the Arctic ice extents, Greenland’s glaciers, Antarctic ice, and more. So you can see for yourself whether earth has been warming or not.
  14. I have two opinions: First, you have a great screen name. Second, the Supreme Court is not going to declare that Presidents have immunity from all criminal prosecution. I was only trying to point out the sheer ridiculousness of Trump’s claim. It’s right up there with “I magically declassified the documents in secret by thinking about it.”
  15. I don’t know, but if the Supreme Court accedes to Trump’s wishes and says he has absolute immunity from all criminal prosecution for acts committed while President… I hope Biden says, “Fine by me!!!” And then tosses Trump in prison without trial. Cause if Trump has immunity, so does Biden, right? But that could never happen, right?
  16. Every one of the Republicans running for President is running to win. They aren’t doing this for fun. And I’ll hand it to Chris Christie… he’s honest. But Niki Haley, DeSantis and the rest… When the Supreme Court of Colorado ruled that Trump is off the ballot, they jumped for joy, then stood in front of a microphone and pretended to be upset. There is no question… every one of them is wishing that the US Supreme Court rules that Trump is ineligible to run for President. It’s the best shot they’ve got at becoming President. And they’re hoping like mad that Trump gets tossed in jail, because they want to be President, not second place. First place. But then they stand in front of the microphone and pretend to be so offended that Trump is being attacked by a “weaponized” justice department. Except… that justice department isn’t coming for any of them, because they didn’t go on a crime spree. So next time you hear Niki Haley or DeSantis complain about poor baby Trump facing criminal and civil charges, just know that behind all that bluster is a shlt-eating grin, just hoping and hoping that some of it sticks. They’re all thinking exactly what Chris Christie is saying, but they’re too fake and phony to just admit it.
  17. Cute, but you can’t point out how the organization that coordinated the rally directly with Donald Trump applied for a permit and lied on the application so as to reduce security at the Capitol. They clearly knew there would be a march to the Capitol, they said so, they said they were informed by the White House and they told one another not to mention it to the National Park Service. Sounds like a conspiracy to me. Sounds like premeditation to me. As for Ashli Babbit, my own opinion is that the Capitol Police did not do their job on January 6. Those Congressmen and women came very close to being attacked and killed, and the Capitol Police should have broken out the automatic weapons and mowed those rioters down until they ran wee wee wee all the way home.
  18. But Trump has not defended himself against any of the actual crimes. Of course he will have his days in court. He’s done with his NY civil fraud case, where his defense consisted of insulting the judge, prosecutor, court staff and their families. Probably not a great way to convince the judge to reduce the judgement… maybe Trump was hoping that attacking the judge would result in the judge going off the rails in a fit of anger, but that didn’t happen. The judge is the cat who ate the canary, just waiting until he gets to write up a ruling that fines Trump $500 million, which is what he will likely do. As for the criminal charges, we shall see. I’m sure Trump will walk away from some of them but not all of them. The SCOTUS is reviewing one of the laws now to see if it’s germane, or whether the DOJ needs to amend its charges relating to the Jan 6 case.
  19. Coordinated. Turns out, new evidence proves there was premediation and coordination between Donald Trump, White House Staff, and the Women for America First group, who applied for the rally permits for January 6. Jan. 6 Rally Organizers Lied About Plan to March to the Capitol, Report Finds Women for America First, which planned the rally on the Ellipse, knew of President Donald J. Trump’s plans to have his supporters march to the Capitol but repeatedly denied it to federal permitting officials. A pro-Trump group that organized the “Save America” rally in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, lied to federal officials about President Donald J. Trump’s plans to call on the crowd to march to the Capitol, where the protest over his election loss turned into a violent riot, according to a new inspector general investigation. The report found that Women for America First, which organized a rally at the Ellipse about two miles from the Capitol on Jan. 6, “intentionally failed to disclose information” to the National Park Service “during the permitting process regarding a march to the U.S. Capitol.” According to the investigation, Women for America First, which is run by Amy and Kylie Jane Kremer, a conservative mother-and-daughter team, repeatedly told Park Service officials there would be no march to the Capitol while privately planning for one. When shown private text messages indicating there would be a march, a park ranger involved in the permitting process told investigators it “bl[ew her] mind,” the report said. The Park Service had repeatedly asked Women for America First whether there would be a march, and the organization “was just adamant there was gonna be no march.” A White House liaison to the rally organizers sent a text message on Jan. 3 to Women for America First regarding a demonstration at the Ellipse. “POTUS expectations are intimate and then send everyone over to the Capitol,” the message said, according to the report. On Jan. 4, Kylie Jane Kremer wrote in a text message: “POTUS is going to have us march there/the Capitol.” She added: “It can also not get out about the march because I will be in trouble with the National Park Service and all the agencies, but POTUS is going to just call for it ‘unexpectedly.’” On Dec. 29, 2020, the group initially sought the permit for the Jan. 6 rally at the Ellipse and “repeatedly” stated there would not be a march to the Capitol, the report said. The permit issued stated that it “does not authorize a march from the Ellipse” and that the organization would “not conduct an organized march from the Ellipse at the conclusion of the rally.”
  20. Bannon already got a presidential pardon.
  21. Your only figure was from 2017. The 19.7 GW figure of 2019 has no context. Monthly power consumption in Texas ranges from 30 to 50 GWh per month. When wind was outputting 19.7 GW, that was between 40 to 66 percent of total generated power, but we don’t know how long that lasted. As of last March, Texas had 33 GW of wind generation capacity and they plan to build out 50 GW, so you can see the growth is substantial. https://energycapitalhtx.com/texas-real-estate-source-wind-power-capacity
  22. Comer said Biden could testify publicly or privately, then he changed his mind. I think Biden should have shown up and said “Fifth Amendment” to every question. Ignoring a Congressional subpoena is a bad idea.
  23. I said 30%, not 50%. Your figure, BOLD FACED ABOVE, comes from 2017, not 2019. I know this is a complex concept… but they can build even more wind turbines. And they will, because wind power is the cheapest power. That’s because the fuel cost is zero. Even so, of course, wind will not provide 100% electric power. That would make no sense because we have an existing electrical grid and we aren’t going to close every electric plant in the nation. That would be silly.
  24. All that stuff is made up. What’s not made up: The entire European Union, every country, wanted the prosecutor fired. The World Bank wanted him fired. The International Monetary Fund wanted him fired. The Obama Administration wanted him fired. WHY CANT YOU GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK F-ING SKULL? FIRING THE GUY WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT A CORRUPT ACT.
  25. People don’t have faith in the government because Donald Trump is doing all he can do to destroy all faith in the government. Dude… the man lies almost every time he opens his mouth, although he was telling the truth when he said he will become Dictator on Day One. You vote for a dictator… the results go REALLY bad. Just look at the Germans… didn’t go well. The Venezuelans who elected Hugo Chavez weren’t too happy with the results. When somebody says they’ll be a dictator, BELIEVE THEM.
