That is absolutely true… according to the law which you made up in your head! But you cannot cite any actual Federal law that says so. CONGRESS passes laws. They are written down in Federal code. There is no Federal Law that says the President is exempt from espionage laws. In fact, there is a Federal law which is SPECIFIC about all presidential records, classified or not. It’s called the Presidential Records Act. Also, if these records really were declassified, why can’t we read them? Anything not classified is public information. Has to be.

Please tell us which Federal law says that.

The evidence which the FBI gathered is evidence of several crimes. Remember when you VOTED for a guy who said that mishandling our nation’s secrets was “the worst crime”? And now you’re like, “What crime?” We get the nonsense: It’s a crime if a Democrat does it, but not if a Republican does it. What a joke.

Trump wouldn’t send Ukraine anything, unless he could get some dirt on Biden in return. No quid pro quo, Ukraine, no ammo. I’m so glad that we have Biden leading the free world in a United boycott against Putin and the armament of Ukraine. Trump attacked NATO and hated democratic leaders like Macron, Trudeau, and Merkel. He liked loser dictators and fascists like Putin and Bolsonaro.

If you read the Bible sometime, you’ll see that homosexuality was not the sin the Gomorrahns committed against Lot and his traveling companions. Instead, their crime was attempted rape. They surrounded the house Lot was staying in and asked if he would bring the angel to them, so that they may know him. Lot refused, offering his daughter instead. The Bible also recounts that the Gomorrahns gave visitors to their city bars of silver, but they would later attack the visitors, take their silver back, and two everything else of theirs. The Bible commands Jews and Christians to give charitably, to love one another, to give refuge to foreigners, to heal the sick and help the poor. The Bible commands to forgive all debts every seven years. Farmers are commanded to give the corners of their crops to the poor and to give all of their crops to the poor on the seventh year. Love thy neighbor. Do not practice your faith in public. The wealthy cannot enter the gates of heaven.

And we were just supposed to figure out that a thread about serving a search warrant on Trump magically became a thread about convicted felon Roger Stone.

You do not understand the fundamentals of survey research. The participants were given a Likert scaled questionnaire. They could only choose certain responses and they had to interpret what the responses meant, so they did. You are choosing to re-interpret that in order ti create a false political narrative which lets you demonize and dehumanize people who disagree with you. It lets you label others as being more extreme than they are. All I said was that if I were given those questions, I’d answer “No Restrictions,” assuming that it included the Roe v Wade carve out and assuming that doctors in America don’t perform abortion on demand after the second trimester. So I demonstrated to you that your interpretation is incorrect, and one you make about of convenience. When you complain that America is becoming more divisive, you should respond by being less divisive yourself. If somebody say, “I mean X” don’t respond by telling them they mean something else. Face value is what it is.

Lawfully-elected President Biden did not say that everyone who supports Trump is an extremist. Instead of listening to you make up words and paraphrasing, I suggest you try living in the real, non-MAGA world, where we use “quotation marks.” Biden said, “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.” Not “Trump supporters.” What he said was “MAGA Republicans.” Like, for instance, the lunatics who are incapable of accepting the fact that the 2020 election was won by Biden. Even after the ridiculous CyberNinja audit, and audit after audit, conducted by other MAGA Republicans, they embrace fairy tales and fantasy. They dress up like LARP characters in cammo, with their little guns, and pretend to be patriots while undermining our basic Democratic system. Because as soon as America has a pineapple dictator who declares himself the winner after losing an election, we stop being America. We end the Constitution. MAGA Republicans filed 64 lawsuits claiming election fraud and they lost every single one. They did not produce any evidence of widespread fraud in even one of the states they disputed. They know it, and we know it. So if they can’t win an election, they’ll just steal it. But we know the MAGA’s are a bunch of babies. They went in their LARP outfits to the Capitol to riot, and they ran away like a bunch of babies after a single bullet was fired. One single bullet and they run. I am far from scared of that.

Ahh… the old “Whataboutism” trick! Well, all I can say is that Trump ran for President stating that careless possession of classified information is “the worst possible crime,” and that he would put Clinton in jail over it. He appointed the AG and FBI Director and if they could find a reason to prosecute her, they should have. Trump appointed the current FBI Director, who signed off on the Mar-a-Lago search. So the net-net is simple: Trump is foolish and he is criminal. All he had to do is comply with the many requests to return the documents and it probably would have been no different than the Hillary Clinton case. The search warrant is Trump’s fault and the reason we know about is because Trump chose to publicize it. For all we know, the FBI might have been happy to just execute the warrant, get the stuff and leave it at that.

I think that if you stuck to facts instead of inflammatory exaggerations, maybe you wouldn’t feel so upset. You said the FBI and MSM conducted a pre-dawn raid on Mar-a-Lago. None of that is true. The FBI executed a search warrant at 9:00am. Where I live, the sun is up by 9:00am. The FBI did not “raid” Mar-a-Lago. They knocked on the door, served the warrant, and conducted a search. The MSM was informed of the search by Mr. Trump. The FBI did not announce the search; it was Mr. Trump who did. Why did the FBI search for the documents? It’s because the National Archives ASKED, over and over, for the return of government documents, which were not Mr. Trump’s property whether they were classified or not. They got a court order for the documents to be returned, then they traveled at taxpayer expense to retrieve the documents. Mind you… that’s all special treatment. When they got the documents, they found that many of them were highly classified, and per Federal law, they were obligated to report this to law enforcement. The agents contacted Trump and returned to Mar-a-Lago last June to pick up the last remaining documents… which should have never been at Mar-a-Lago and which should have already been returned to the Archives. At this time, agents obtained more classified documents, AND received a sworn affidavit that all records had been returned. FBI then learned that classified material was still present at Mar-a-Lago. Perhaps a Secret Service agent reported this; we don’t know who. But based on the evidence, they obtained a search warrant, they didn’t raw their guns, then didn’t burst in, they didn’t toss smoke grenades or flash bangs, no, sorry, they didn’t raid the place, they simply showed up, served the warrant, and, as per the US Constitution, searched the stated place for the things they believed to find… which they found. There is no US law that says Donald Trump or former Presidents are allowed to break laws. What’s odd here is that the Feds had not charged him despite the obvious commission of crime. They just wanted the stuff back. They asked. They asked again. Then they showed up. Then they were lied to. Then they searched, and it was Trump who announced that he’d been searched. We don’t know if the DOJ will charge Trump in this, but Trump has confessed to having classified information and he’s been the one publicizing this case, not the DOJ. It’s almost as if he wants to be prosecuted for it.

How is it different? If you agree that Trump is an extremist, how would you describe his supporters?

I would have answered, “Yes, in all cases,” but I would not assume that meant abortion the day before giving birth. Roe v Wade established a cut off at the end of the second trimester, and it’s understood that was the situation except in very exceptional medical emergency cases.
