  1. NDP has everything to lose with an election. Why would they choose to do that?
  2. Satan knows God exists but chose to rebel. There is nothing about freewill that would prevent humans from not worshipping, opposing or rebelling against God. God ordered Jews in the ancient world to kill gay people. Why wasn’t he pro life then?
  3. Since “communist” means anything you don’t agree with, then yes…. Canada certainly is.
  4. Ask Danielle Smith. She wants Alberta’s population to grow even faster than all projections. population growth is universally lauded, except the absolute fringe. https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7013363
  5. How do you know incidents weren’t reported? How many?
  6. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/10/24/another-trump-lawyer-who-pushed-to-overturn-2020-election-pleads-guilty-00123163 How many more defendants will plead guilty? Will there be 18 co-defendants all testifying against Trump?
  7. Follow the red line. See how it goes down?
  8. Homicide rate in Toronto has been virtually the same for 40 years, with some minor variation. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/t1/tbl1/en/tv.action?pid=3510007101&pickMembers[0]=2.2&cubeTimeFrame.startYear=1981&cubeTimeFrame.endYear=2022&referencePeriods=19810101%2C20220101
  9. Every system proposed already does this. The UBI you would receive is taxed, so if you make money, the UBI portion is flawed back through income taxes. This makes it extremely simple to administer. Once you introduce complexities, it gets more expensive to administer.
  10. I think people will take every opportunity not to vote for Poilievre. A fresh face for the Liberals would give voters a reason to not vote PP.
  11. Because they did illegal things, as evidenced by their guilty pleas for doing illegal things. Is it really that difficult to comprehend? LOL
  12. He got a reduced sentence for pleading guilty to crimes and a promise to testify. Do you not understand plea deals?
  13. Apparently, it also means that anyone of the same faith (skin colour?) must be treated with suspicion and not let into the country as well.
  14. He did plead guilty to a felony. Isn’t that worse than the MISDEMEANOURS you were complain about previously? A misdemeanour that has a minimum sentence of a year in jail is still pretty serious criminal charge, isn’t it?
  15. So, you’re saying that the federal government wants to own all the means of production? Or are you using “communism” as a bogeyman?
  16. She pleaded guilty to “conspiring to intentionally interfere with the performance of election duties”.
  17. She admitted guilt and will be writing a letter of apology for her criminal wrongdoings! LOL
  18. Presumably, if she didn’t plead guilty, they would have found her guilty of the more serious charges, right? Why do you think 6 years on probation for election interference isn’t significant? Do you know what the penalties are for this particular misdemeanour? Hint: it’s jail time.
  19. What is the significance of the charges being misdemeanours?
  20. She pleaded guilty to 6 counts of “conspiring to intentionally interfere with the performance of election duties”. This was so the more serious charges were dropped in exchange for her testimony against others. She also has to write an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia. Do you think she will profess her innocence in this letter? If she breaks the terms of her plea (it doesn’t sound like you know what it means to plead guilty), she will likely be in jail for several years. Being an old lady, that probably would mean dying there…
  21. If they did nothing wrong, why did two of Trump’s cronies plead guilty?
  22. The Greens received the 3rd highest number of votes in B.C., didn’t they? Wouldn’t most of those bleed away NDP support? Do you prefer a 2 party system where people don’t have the option of the Greens or the Conservative parties to vote for?
  23. Your analogy is silly by assuming Israel is an innocent party. It’s more nuanced than you’d like to pretend.
