What could be more hateful than to tell a teen rape victim that they must give birth to their rapist’s child?

Yes, I mentioned that in the post above. And the quote I put in from that ministry preaching for Canada to “obey God or be destroyed” is a ministry dedicated to the goal of reconciling with Muslims…. They see an ally in socially conservative Muslims. I don’t know how it would work exactly, but they don’t see Muslims as an enemy of Canada, but as an ally to turn Canada into a more religious country. So what’s the problem: Muslims, or social conservatives from any religion?

Are the bishops receiving different orders from God than the Pope is? What grounds do you have to question the legitimacy of the Pope? Because you disagree with him?

Canadian conservatives love conservative Muslims when it comes to drag story hour, trans people, etc And, as the poster says, it’s not all Muslims who are extremists. Maybe the problem is being a social conservative, not the Muslim part? Should Canada screen immigrants out for being socially conservative? Might be a better strategy…

I’m sure there’s a passage somewhere that Jesus says to annoy people by talking at them, rather than talking with them. Yes, hypothetical question to point out the inconsistency in your argument where you’re in favour of modern day invasions and colonization of other people’s land. It’s ok if it’s not your land. It might make some sense in central Canada, and into the USA. But, it would take massive government investment. Conservative heads would explode at the thought of the feds and Ontario investing billions in high speed rail. Would Albertans be happy to spend federal tax dollars subsidizing Ontario transportation? Are Provinces a detriment to Canada? Norway doesn’t have the issue of arbitrary lines within their national map fighting over petty differences between them.

Asking questions isn’t discussing? I think you prefer proselytizing. That’s where you just regurgitate speaking points. Real discussion includes questioning viewpoints. You call it taunting because it doesn’t suit proselytizing; it means you have to actually think. The fact that it happened in the past, does that make it right? Why aren’t you in favour of Russia colonizing Canada today? Because you know it’s wrong. We can change it, and we have for the most part. Most countries no longer try and forcefully colonize what isn’t theirs. And when they do, most of the rest of the world condemns those actions. Israel didn’t exist thousands of years ago. Do you have any empathy for Arab children who are displaced or die because Israel takes their land?

The infrastructure is different than normal rail. There are no crossings, it is fenced and/or elevated whenever they travel fast. If they come to stops, they slow down to regular train speeds.

You’re in favour of Israel taking land that isn’t there’s because “countries are occupied all the time”. Obviously that’s not really a good reason, since you wouldn’t want your country occupied, is it?

On your 2nd point, I agree. Worldwide, Islam has more terrorists and are more dangerous. It might be contrary to what you believe, but the Christian terrorists think you’re wrong. Maybe you could convince them that your less violent version of Christianity is better.

Most aren’t. The “militia movement” in the USA and Canada are made up of Christian terror groups like the Proud Boys and 3 percenters.

Did you know there are Christian extremists too? If we can’t weed them out, then should we not let Christians in as well? I guess all we’re left with are atheists and maybe Jains.

If God is on your side, why do you need to work out an agreement with the heathens you’re stealing from? And, if you’re the other side and your god says the land is yours and these other people aren’t even human, what’s wrong with blowing them up to get what you want? There’s no incentive to come to an agreement.

The bible says a man whose testicles are crushed can’t go to church. Do you believe a man who had his testicles and/or penis crushed is barred from church? Deuteronomy 23:1 KJV He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD. Most Christians and moderate Muslims don’t follow what their holy books tell them to do.

How many children have you adopted or fostered over the years?

I didn’t say it was required now, but it certainly used to be a requirement. Until God changed His mind about it.
