The ideology of “woke” is defined by its opposition in such vague terms, like you just did, that it is entirely vapid and impossible for me to come down for or against. I can see being for and against all of the things you mentioned. It’s much better to take specific examples of actions and argue the merits for or against. Sounds like the Conservative MP was mistaken. He was only threatening his reputation among Italian-Canadians. But, even if he was talking about the legal community, what is wrong with pointing out that the MP’s actions in The House to all their lawyer acquaintances? In a media statement, Lametti said he was talking about the the Italian-Canadian community in the email, not the legal community.
