You call this post “thoughts”? 😂

Then why have the rightwing commentators bing funded come out and said they were the victims if there wasn’t evidence? Mr Rubin, who boasts 1.5 million followers on X, said his show on Tenet ended months ago, and that he had not been contacted by the justice department. "I and other commentators were the victims of this scheme," he wrote concerning the allegations. "I knew absolutely nothing about any of this fraudulent activity."

No. The government should not be the gatekeeper of the proper way to apply one’s values when it comes to voting. Democracy is flawed in part because it lets everyone participate. This is also its biggest strength.

It simply means we need to strengthen our democratic institutions to root out undue foreign influence. Traitorous seditionists always try and thwart democracy. These particular ones are taking money to spread these ideas from Russia. We have some doing this at the behest of China too. How am I “clinging to both”? I don’t know what you mean.

Abortion Question for Trump Supporters
TreeBeard replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
A country with no abortion laws has less abortions per capita than the USofA. To reduce abortions, maybe they shouldn’t have any laws at all -

How else would you be able to spread anti-immigrant hysteria? Mention that they commit less crimes than the average American? Facts ain’t gonna do it! -
No, but machines certainly will. AI will just be the platform to design the machine and techniques on how to replace you.

Agreed. I am leaning more and more towards at least a partial technocracy. I think the Senate, if it’s appointed, should be appointed based on expertise, and not a lifetime appointment. Imagine a senate that is made up of medical professionals, bio-ethicists, constitutional scholars, etc. being asked to give “sober 2nd thought” to legislation and issues based on their expertise.

So do you call yourself a gravitationalist? You believe in gravity, right? I guess I shouldn’t assume. -

I know what Darwinism is. I didn’t ask that. Read more carefully. -

If scientists didn’t speculate, we would still think the sun revolved around the earth. 🌍 ☀️ -

Last booster was a year ago, or so. I know you want to live in 2021, but the pandemic is over. It’s now considered endemic and no one is really talking about it. Except you. -
Britain’s House of Lords still has members of the Church of England. We still have unelected appointees with real power to stop or change legislation called the Senate. There are several anachronistic flaws in our political system that still need to be worked through. I agree that first-past-the-post is one of them as well. And should be the first one to fall. Other parliamentary systems based on the UK model have done it to great effect. Society progresses. To do otherwise is to stagnate and die.
