Winner of "Worst housing policy of 2023": Jagmeet Singh

Well perhaps PP can come up with a $200 rebate for homeowners before Trudeau does then. Of course Jagmeet's idea is stupid. A real Dipper would suggest nationalizing mortgages into a Crown Corp. central bank. -
No, not at all. Police have vastly more experience only in enforcing the law. Wrong or right, enforcing what is the law. We heard the same BS about marijuana for 80 years. Turned users into ex fiends, crazed wackos, criminals. While they strictly enforced laws that were wrong as the law against it turned you into a criminal, not pot. We heard BS that LSD damaged chromosomes, turned you into murderous fiends. That MDMA (ecstacy) literally ate holes in your brain like Mad Cow spongiforms. How cocaine burned holes ion your nose - even though almost anything you put up your nose will. The "dangers" of mushrooms, mescaline, etc. All courtesy of hicksville Police Chiefs, who actually knew squat other than they were illegal. Regardless,. that experience with the native woman may have been with someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or having a psychological episode, or being just an arsehole. Similar to how people here see drunks and beggars on the street and generalize them as 'the Indians" even though many aren't.

Jason Aldean Song Triggers Leftist Snowflakes

You speak as a conservative do you? You wouldn't know one to see one. -
If you believe the opinion of some hick cop is worth more than almost all doctors and health professionals, I'd have to point out that you are the one speaking nonsense. I already know you know less than zero about the subject of addiction and spouting your nonsense creates only more harm to individuals so affected.

So they didn't kill all of them. Therefore a failed genocide is not a genocide at all in your books, eh? And we stopped them from killing each other by sheer firepower too. Sounds like a top generals thinking during the Vietnam war. And ignoring the fact the English, French, Spanish, Portugese were constantly warring in orders of magnitude more over who should be the colonizers. Good God, the levels of hatred and resentment towards native people is on full display on this site in almost every thread.

The very nature of the original question is racist. Hiding behind the commonly held belief among racists that only calling out derogatory names is. Just like the belief shooting natives, putting bounties on them, infecting them with smallpox on purpose, death marches, reserves and draggin them to schools to beat their own language and culture out of them was not genocide. We used sarin gas not ZyklonB so how could it possibly be genocide? [/s]

As I pointed out 'eugenics' was not associated with 'euthanasia' until the Nazis took things to the extreme. The object was to improve society by 'filtering out' mental and physical imperfections from the gene pool by preventing them from 'breeding". Unfortunately, many of which are no longer labelled as such. Criminality is not genetic, homosexuality is not genetic, and people with physical defects can still have a quality of life. Some mental illnesses and serious physical illnesses are genetic, and people are warned but not forcibly sterilized now. So attempting to pigeonhole someone from that era in a negative way with today's standards is NOT like condemning someone who believed in genocide, imperialism or slavery. The concept is not evil or destructive, and most people today believe that people with things that are spread genetically should be discouraged from having children. That is still a form of eugenics.

Asides from the most asinine source possible for any discussion on drugs, wtf does that statement have to do with furthering discussion. Let alone on discussion of one individual's actions being pinned as a generalization of all FN?

I wouldn't label eugenics as extreme socialism. Sure it was a social engineering concept, but was endorsed by many 'scientific' minds on all sides of the political spectrum It didn't take on the 'breeding of a master race' or the killing of the unwanted.connotations until after the war years. Forced sterilizations carried on here until the 1960s. And pressuring some people to be sterilized voluntarily continues to this day. Many sates had miscegnegation laws much later - all are forms of 'eugenics'

Pretending that addiction is not a "choice"? Make that 5 in a row that don't know shit. Oh wait, still 4... one just wants to repeat himself thinking that will make it true.

Ontario needs to invest in EVs as a realistic Option.
herbie replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I've tried pointing this out with "peeing in the pool" and "Shitting in the well" analogies as we all share the same air/water/climate. But unfortunately opponents simply go back to repeating the same old song. So how about: There's over 1 billion people in China and they're modernizing and buying cars. More of them are EVs than anywhere else. Coal fired power plants to charge one billion cars produce less CO2 than one billions ICE vehicles do. Simple enough? China is also adopting Green solutions faster than we are. As well as threatening all S Asia with proposed dams, river diversions and military actions in the Himalayas. If India and China start lobbing nukes, we won't have to worry about climate change. They'll "solve it" with a nuclear winter.... -

Too much fun trolling you. You humiliate those you claim to endorse with every response. Much better than I ever could.
