To the buyers it was cheaper than rent, and they just moved out selling for $97,000 a year and a half later. There's like 5 other ppl doing nothing but renos and flipping as their main income here. BTW did you know if you want to reno a bathroom or kitchen in Vancouver it will cost you as much as $8400 and six weeks just for the permit? That my uncle, a retired contractor wanted to turn his garage in Vancouver into a laneway home but just the permits would have cost him $5000 more than I paid for the house & lot I live in here?
