Canada's (In)Justice System AKA "Thanks, Bill C-75!"
Goddess replied to Goddess's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The judges letting these criminals out on our streets could be impeached by Parliament. Why isn't the Liberal party doing that? Maybe because their defense would be, "You can't impeach us. We're going by the law YOU guys put in place." -
Canada's (In)Justice System AKA "Thanks, Bill C-75!"

According to the Windsor Police Service, the victim reported the incident to police on Feb. 17, 2026. She told investigators that a man known to her approached her near the intersection of Goyeau Street and Wyandotte Street East and forced her into a vehicle. Police say the suspect then drove the woman to a hotel in Windsor’s west end, where she was allegedly held for approximately one week. During that time, investigators allege the suspect administered a drug to the victim without her consent, the woman was sexually assaulted and threatened, with weapons used or displayed to prevent her from leaving. After the suspect left the hotel room, the woman was able to escape and contact police. On March 11 at approximately 11 am, members of the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Unit located and arrested Michael Walter Peltier, 34 in downtown Windsor. He has been charged with: -Kidnapping -Forcible confinement -Sexual assault with a weapon -Sexual assault -Assault with a weapon (x 2) -Overcoming resistance to offence by administering a drug -Discharging a firearm -Uttering threats -Failure to comply with a release order Peltier was charged in July 2024 after allegedly holding a female against her will and sexually assaulting her. Later Peltier approached the female victim and threatened serious bodily harm if she did not recant her statement to police. In October 2024 Peltier was arrested again for breaching his release order, he was released on bail again. In December 2025 Peltier was arrested again for assault and threatening to burn the victims house down and released on bail. -
How Canada’s once great immigration system is being weakened even further - The Hub Despite paying lip service to lower immigration levels, Carney is planning Trudeau-era levels of 450,000+ new permanent residents every year for the next three years. This is the Carney pattern. There is a bold announcement about "fixing" a Trudeau era problem, for which he is immediately praised by the media followed by (at best) some tinkering that does nothing to uproot the Trudeau program and gets us nowhere near where we were pre-Trudeau. The plan is a patch, not a fix. Example: The bold announcement: "We will move at speeds we haven't seen in generations." The "fix": A new bureaucracy to create some exemptions from Trudeau-era laws for politically-favoured projects, instead of actually amending or radically overhauling those laws. Carney knows the laws are stopping investment and faster project approvals or he wouldn't have to provide an end-run around them. But he still won't fix them. Lip service is not a fix. Carney is too much of an establishment man to fix the system that formed and still informs him. From First Nations policy (the new Musqueam agreement) to housing (a new government bureaucracy) to immigration (Trudeau level, 454,000 PRs/year) to major projects (an unproven work-around), his actions are all within the Trudeau era framework. I don't see any evidence that Carney understands that the system he and his advisors helped build is the problem or the urgency of tearing it down. There is certainly no plan to actually fix it.

Minister of Housing, Gregor Robertson in the HoC yesterday: "It's no surprise that Canadians are challenged with buying homes right now, when there is a war right now in the Middle East." 🤪 Young Canadians: "Things in Canada have been so bad for so many years now, that we can't buy a home because of that war that started 2 weeks ago."

I listen to this podcaster quite often - clearly, he is a Conservative, he says that outright, so the podcast has a right lean. I'm posting it in this thread because I find it really difficult to engage Liberals in any discussion because they seem incapable of any self-reflection and will not admit the Liberal Party has fuqued up Canada royally. It's just excuses and deflection constantly. Blame everyone else. They cannot talk honestly about anything about their party. They know nothing about policies of either Conservatives or their own Liberal party, and don't seem to care to know. This morning's Elev8 Podcast discussed a Politico article that just came out, very critical of Poilievre and the reasons why he lost the election. These 2 young men discuss it honestly, agree that Poilievre should have done things differently. Good discussion. One thing they say is that Poilievre should have engaged with Trump and American news outlets during the campaign. We were all saying that. I think he didn't do it because, I mean Danielle Smith was screamed at "Traitor!" for engaging with the Americans and the accusation to Poilievre was that he was "just like Trump". Reg makes the point that the Liberal hysteria and media lies should have been ignored and Poilievre should have gone to the US then. He says Trump doesn't care what his accusers say, he just carries on and he won anyways. That's fair. My point is that, Conservatives self-critique. Liberals do not. They refuse to admit mistakes, blame everybody else and their supporters swallow it. Anyways, if you want to watch the exchange about the Politico article, it starts at about 43:00.

They're stealing right in front of us now because they know you won't do anything about it. And soon, when they have a majority, you won't be able to. MPs Seek Secret Gov’t Audit | Blacklock's Reporter Opposition MPs last evening called for disclosure of a secret audit on millions in cost overruns for one of cabinet’s signature programs, the Canada Dental Care Plan. A summary referred to soaring administration charges: ‘Just so we’re clear, this is to produce information that has been hidden from Canadians.’

In case you were unclear after the news reported all the Ukrainian money-laundering corruption, Ukrainian leadership fleeing the country, but are still wondering where all those billions we've been giving to Ukraine are going: Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration (with counter-terrorism units) stopped the vehicles on the M5 motorway. They detained seven Ukrainian Oschadbank employees (including one former intelligence officer) for over 24 hours on suspicion of money laundering. The employees were released/expelled on March 6; the armored vehicles were later returned to Ukraine. But the cash and gold are still being held. On March 9–10, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán signed a decree ordering the National Tax and Customs Authority to keep the $82 million in custody for up to 60 days while they investigate the origin, purpose, and any links to “criminal or terrorist organizations” (or even Hungarian political groups). Hungarian officials say they’ve seen huge volumes of cash/gold moving through their territory since January (hundreds of millions), and question why banks are trucking it instead of wiring it. Hungary orders authorities to hold some $82 million in seized Ukrainian cash and gold - ABC News I don't think it's a coincidence that Freeland is now over there as "economic adviser".

The Climate Crisis is a global scam

The vax rollout began in Canada in Dec. 2020. The first cardiac adverse event was reported on Dec. 4, 2020: In Feb. 2021, Health Canada received formal notice from Israel (who had volunteered to be the first petri dish for Pfizer) of a strong myocarditis/pericarditis safety signal. There were now 82 cardiac adverse events in the database. On March 3, 2021, Health Canada attended an International Medical Conference, convened in part, to discuss the myocarditis events reported by Israel. There were now 110 cardiac adverse events in the database. Canada reported at the conference.....that we only had 3. On May 4, 2021, Trudeau & Tam appeared on television together to tell Canadians that the vax was "safe". In June, 2021, Health Canada began warning of "possible" myocarditis from the shot. By now, over 20 million people in Canada had gotten the vax. And there were now 800 cases in the database. Compare this to the RotaShield flu vax, which was pulled from the market after 15 adverse events. Risk from RotaShield per 10,000 doses was about the same as the myocarditis risk to young men for the covid shots. Canada alone - had over 800 and kept going. The reason you didn't (and likely this is the first time you're hearing these numbers) hear about this: The Privy Council Office in a secret memo said Covid vaccine injuries and deaths “have the potential to shake public confidence” and must be carefully managed with “winning communication strategies.” Response from March 11, 2026 for Q-766 - Written Questions - House of Commons of Canada -

No, it's not and yes it is. If you are wondering at my interest in the covid vax, it's because my sister was injured by them. Neurological damage. she still cannot work. No previous health issues. My ex-hubby, visited me 5 months before he died and told me he hadn't felt well since he got the jabs mandated for work. He said he had been hearing lots were dying from sudden heart attacks and said, "I feel like that is going to happen to me." 5 months later he had a heart attack and work and was on life support for 3 weeks before decisions were made. He had no previous heart issues and doctors said his arteries were clear. I'm not a kook. -
We have troops over there, Mexico is negotiating a bilateral deal with the US and leaving us out, the country is falling apart and he goes on another holiday. Everything the English warned us about him is true.

I do also from time to time. I took a very long break a couple (?) years ago when my ex-hubby died of a sudden heart attack. He was 43. There were a lot of kind souls on here who worried about me and I appreciated it. -
Did you know that our Canadian troops were among the first attacked by Iran in this war? 😮 Everyone is ok, but dang. How about some transparency?

Not to belabor the point, but the article title uses the word "distress". To the point it affects their life decisions. And almost 40% say it affects their life negatively. I think that's a bit more than just "concerned", don't you? I see you think this is good thing. I disagree. -

Ya? Usually it's anger that makes people kneejerk react and not get the actual points being made. Best to take some time off the board, either way. -
This has already been reported on. Like back in 2023. Global News did a years-long investigation: RCMP respond to revelations about Iranian foreign interference in Canada | Globalnews.ca Their source was a Burnaby lawyer who had created a database of names: ‘Far worse than you can imagine’: How Iran’s regime has ‘spread its tentacles’ in Canada - National | Globalnews.ca Man, if CBC doesn't spoon feed you the info, you really have no clue about anything, do you?

You lefties need to make up your minds. Is there too many of us or do we need mass immigration because there's not enough of us? Pick a lane.

Geez. 😬 I think you need to take a break. Maybe go for a walk? Your anger is making you completely miss the point of posts. -

Obviously I haven't been through every paper in this database, just posting in case anyone else wants to take a boo at some of them. It's over 300 papers, covering a variety of climate topics like temperature attribution, solar variability, GHG physics, ocean chemistry, sea level change, etc. Peer reviewed papers — Shortfall There's also this database of over 1,350 papers in support of some skepticism of climate narrative: Popular Technology.net: 1350+ Peer-Reviewed Papers Supporting Skeptic Arguments Against ACC/AGW Alarmism At the very least, these databases show that climate science is an active field of debate, and that claims of "consensus" and "settled science" are.......premature. -
It's as true as you ever voting Conservative. ** wink ** I'm not surprised you know nothing about the Bill. You've said policy doesn't mean anything to you. You vote by sock choice.
-
Wow, that's a burning hate you got going on there! 🚒 You know, I get it, I'm not a fan of Carney. But what I do is state my issue with him and then a link to a news article that confirms my claim. Maybe try that.
-
It's basically legislation we already have, but now they don't need a warrant or any judicial oversight. Who do you think they're going to use it on? Because so far, they haven't been interested in even using our existing legislation on the IRGC, Kahalistani gangs, Chinese drug cartels or Indian extortioners.

Thus, Bill Gates' email to Epstein: "How do we get rid of poor people?"

Give it up. Everyone agrees the climate changes. -
Maybe. Not working out too well for the UK, though. You'll be safe. For now. You're a Liberal cuck. Better hope the Conservatives never get in, though.
-
Nope. Sure, there has always been the odd floor crosser here and there on both sides, but it's never been weaponized against citizens to this degree or mattered as much as it does now. This is one of the problems I've noticed with the Liberal party for a long time. They take basically "gentlemen's agreements" that have been respected in Canada for a century and abuse them to the point that now we have to make a rule.
