That Trump's own party and handlers allowed him to be exposed to that kind of event, where the media has the power and the president is on the spot, is actually puzzling and perhaps tells us something.

As to coal, and speaking of innovation, it's almost unfortunate that just as we're learning to make it cleaner (from actual pollution) it's on the way out but that's the way the free market works.

For example, if you want to truck Ontario out as some kind of hero for banning coal remember to tell people the last coal-fired energy plant closed the year before they did it.

Natural gas from fracking works better and is cheaper.

BTW, estimates for the "Green New Deal"  range from 2 to 93 trillion dollars and my personal estimate is you won't get so much as a Tang flavor crystal out of it.

However, Universal Healthcare seems to be a "climate change" imperative according to the Bernie arm. Only a Progressive Socialist knows how that is going to 'fix the weather'. It's some sort of secret from the rest of us. And most of us don't appear to want to ask how anyway.

Not to worry. AOC agrees with you. Give her 93 trillion dollars and cleaning the atmosphere of live-giving CO2 or whatever secret portion you are both talking about is "do-able." 

It's important to remember though that what she calls "social justice" is also what she calls "climate change".

So far NB has 18,643 first shot vaccinations, with 5,347 completed with both shots...and now most of its vaccinations will be heading north... maybe Ontario should be giving up a slice of the pie...

But Ontario has 15 million people.  New Brunswick has 700,000.

Well they've been between 3-5k for a few weeks. But 4,800 have been records so they caused alarm. They peaked back above 4000 today. 

The Good news is that recoveries were higher than new infections.

If Canada was third in the G7 in anything it would be an accomplishment. But because the US is ahead of us, it's a failure.
