Irrelevant as there are vaccines now, and a large percentage of the population has received at least one dose.  Opening outdoor dining isn’t going to spike infections with vaccinations ongoing.  It’s anti-science.  There’s no reason opening outdoor dining sometime this week is dangerous but on the 14th is safe.  It’s ridiculous.

I 100% agree, this delay is unnecessary and outdoor dining and limited retails should, at least, be re-opened.

The Government is gun shy from all the heat they took in April and want to make sure they're really past any further "waves". 

But waiting 2 weeks after a benchmark does have science behind it. People don't achieve immunity immediately after they receive the vaccine. 

Fair enough.  I definitely agree about them being gun shy.  Quebec basically forced them to allow fans to go to game 7 tonight.  I’m hoping as other states and provinces go first and show that things can be safe, they’ll loosen up a bit.

It continues to be highly entertaining watching Argus defend the American version of Justin Trudeau on a regular basis, all because Trump is an a-hole.  Keep defending lifting sanctions on Russian pipelines while canceling American pipelines.  Keep defending critical race theory as mandatory training in the federal government.  Keep defending the border surge, and increased immigration and refugee caps.  Keep defending massive new spending that’s caused huge spikes in inflation.  Keep defending carbon taxes and Biden’s Paris accord and environmental policies that only help China.  All because you can’t tolerate mean tweets.  Like I’ve said before, put on your big boy pants and grow the fuck up, and realize the difference between personality vs policy.

Inflation is going to be a Global problem going forward, this year. The supply chain is broken right now and the price of many high-end items and the commodities they're made of have exponentially gone up in the past 2 Quarters. 

Can't really pin this on Biden. 

If anything this is a symptom that the economy has rebounded faster than the providers of Steel and Lumber had expected. 

True.  But looking at the numbers, and seeing that 2nd dose appointments are now being accelerated, it looks like Ontario will have the vaccination numbers for stage 3 by the second week of July, not counting the lag for effectiveness.

I agree, I really hope they react to a reduction in Positive cases and Positivity rate. 

Still not under 1,000 daily cases (Dr. Williams has looked at that as a benchmark) but active cases continue to decline. People are recovering at a much faster rate than getting infected. 

My what statisticians we've all become, eh? Derivatives, even.
