  1. Who in the FBI were charged with anything? Has nothing to do with Trump contesting this election BTW.
  2. Trump has had several days in court. And Lost almost every time.
  3. It's so obvious all this is a Grift. It allows him to continue to fundraise and pay off his election debt.
  4. These lawsuits are going so poorly. An analysis of the hundred of pages of allegations of fraud in Michigan found that most didn't understand the procedure or were just complaining about "mean" poll workers. Tomorrow will be the last ditch effort in Pennsylvania. Most of Trump's lawyers have quite, Rudy "Let me lie down for a minute to touch myself" Giuliani appeared in court for the first time since 1992. The other lawyer Trump retained is a talk show host who's on record saying these challenges won't work. This is funny and pathetic at the same time.
  5. Well there goes that talking point for people who think Sweden dealt with COVID-19 the correct way. https://nationalpost.com/news/world/lockdown-u-turn-in-sweden-as-covid-19-cases-soar-and-herd-immunity-hopes-falter The gathering limit in Ontario is 10. So they've gone farther. With a population of 11 million. They're seeing worse numbers comparable to the state of Florida with more than 4,000 cases a day and more than 15 deaths each day.
  6. The Governor of Wyoming on the resurgence of COVID-19 in his state.

"We've had more businesses around the state closed by sick workers than by any of our health orders."

Lol, how would a governor know when a business closes for a while because of sick workers?  Do you think businesses call the governor to let him know?  Regardless, yes, it can happen, that's why it's called a pandemic.  So what?

You probably have a lot of places forced to shut down because of an outbreak.

The idea that seeking Herd Immunity will be good for business is a fallacy. The more people get sick the less efficient the workforce will be.

Heard on the news yesterday about a school that had to close because so many staff were off sick with Covid.  Can't remember where, maybe Ontario?  Even last Spring, when we had relatively few cases in BC, my home reno was delayed by six weeks because people were sick, or were testing positive for Covid.  Lots of sick people does affect businesses.

  7. Only 17 positive cases of Influenza reported in Canada so far this year. But yeah, COVID-19 is just the flu.

What do you imagine war with China to be like?

      You don't have a clue.

But suffice to say they've been at war with the West since they attacked us in Korea.

I suspect it would be WW3.

So I guess they can continue to de-stabilize Western Economies through disease all they want.

They're the ones that buy up all the Debt anyway.

China was once a close friend of the West...Nationalist China, that is. Sun Yat-sen, Chiang Kai-shek, Kuomintang...etc.

The Allies flew supplies over the Himalayas and fought hard on the ground the the Burma Theater...together with the Chinese. The Flying Tigers, Chindits and such...all that legend stuff resulted.

During WW2, the Communists under Mao refused to fight the Japanese for the most part...preferring instead to use their Allied given supplies to attack the Nationalists.

Today, Nationalist China has been reduced to Taiwan.

THAT is what we should encourage for China...dump the bloody Reds.

  8. There's no evidence that is going to happen.
  9. The Courts have overwhelmingly not agreed.
  10. It's funny how they've pivoted from wanting to know the winner ASAP to delaying the certification in applicable states indefinitely.
  11. How far would you allow the appeals process to go here? Part of the reason Gore v Bush happened was because of certification of the election. We going to move that back and delay Biden's inauguration. We're already seeing major problems with the Bush administration standing in the way of the transition process.
  12. The US will exceed 250,000 Covid deaths this week. The only thing deadlier in the US is Cancer and Heart Disease.

While in Canada, the 11,000 that have died to COVID would make it the 6th deadliest thing. Strokes, Chronic Respiratory Diseases and Accidents usually kill more people than COVID has.

Globally, COVID-19 is seeing a resurgence across the board, but in countries that have taken more co-ordinated precautionary steps, the lives lost can be greatly diminished.

Deaths when compared to caseload. So when you have 1/5 of the Global cases, it's not something to brag about.

When you evaluate Deaths per capita, it's more than double Canada.

Spain, Belgium and the UK are the only developed nations with a higher death rate per capita.

And that doesn't tell the whole story because most countries had their deaths early in the pandemic. Treatment and the age of those who get the disease has lowered it, across the board.

The US is still regularly seeing more than 1,000 deaths a day. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a day or two with 2,000 deaths this week.

7,700 Americans died per day...before COVID.

Similar to other countries, many people die every day non-covid related.  But the media doesn’t run daily tabulations.

  13. https://lawandcrime.com/2020-election/trump-campaign-lawyer-admits-to-judge-our-search-for-evidence-of-fraud-produced-obvious-lies-and-spam/ It all nice to allege fraud on the internet. But when Trump lawyers have to present actual evidence to a judge in court, they fold like a cheap tent. Over and over again.
  14. 306-232 Electoral Votes.

    5 million+ more votes.

    This election was not close.

Actually it was close.  A lot closer than the fake polls suggested.  Biden by 10!

  15. Canadian The Weeknd to do the Super Bowl Halftime Show. SEE! Biden's already outsourcing jobs.

  16. Leave it to this site to have a critical review of Queen's Gambit. It was a brilliant miniseries. It speaks to a time where people were way more intellectual than they appear to be now. You would actually care about international Chess players? The idea that making a show about a woman in a man's world is somehow too woke is ridiculous. What's refreshing is the people she encounters don't care she's a woman. The fact she's brilliant is enough. The show is also decent at tackling substance abuse.

Arizona called for Biden now. Meaning they could overturn Pennsylvania and Biden would still win.

  18. Glad you recognize that. Hospitalization has quadrupled since the summer. I actually don't agree with closing businesses up. A full lockdown won't help if people continue to have large social gatherings in their homes. That's the culprit. People are wearing their masks in public. It's spreading through workplaces and family settings.
  19. Well we're going to more than double that in COVID-19 deaths. Granted the death rate has dropped since the early days. But Ontario is now recording 10+ deaths a day.
  20. So you're just assuming that it's in the thousands. Perhaps the COVID death rate is so low because of Mask wearing and Social Distancing. And all the measure you're raging again.
  21. Cite them then? You said Canada, not BC's 300 COVID deaths vs how many people usually die from the Flu. As a comparison. Maybe 60,000 die of the Flu in the US every year. They might reach 400,000 deaths from COVID-19.
  22. Want to cite Annual BC Flu Deaths? Or you're just "Sure" they're comparable. Hospitalization is actually becoming a problem across Canada. And we know that Hospital capacity leads to a cascading effect in regards to deaths. Also deaths from other things because resources have to be devoted to COVID-19.
  23. That RINO Karl Rove, concedes election won't be overturned in the courts.

  24. Sheet's getting serious. 1,300+ cases yesterday. Hospitals in Peel are reaching capacity and elective surgeries are, again, being cancelled. We're looking down the barrel of another shutdown. https://www.insauga.com/mississauga-mayor-says-hospitals-at-capacity-as-covid-19-situation-becomes-dire-in-peel And it's not businesses fault, which is a shame. It's people who still want to have a fulfilling and robust social life in the face of a Global pandemic. House Parties and Social gatherings are the real culprit here.
  25. Doesn't look like SCOTUS wants to strike down ObamaCare.

Roberts said congress can strike it down, why come to us?
