  1. This provides nothing new to the debate. It's satisfying that this is the rhetoric you're left with.
  2. That's the immature rhetoric one has come to expect from Anti-Vaxxers.
  3. Leap frog Coal, I suppose. LNG is a good transition until we figure out broad nuclear or if renewables can actually meet needs. The problem with renewables isn't generation, it's transmission and storage. You see in Maine, they voted to cancel a Green Power project from Quebec because they didn't want the powerlines built. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/maine-vote-hydro-quebec-1.6233569
  4. O'Toole was trying to be pragmatic. Stephen Harper was pragmatic. This is the only way a Conservative can win nationally in Canada.
  5. Feds to lift PCR requirement on Vaccinated travellers on trips under 72 hours. Still doesn't help recreational travellers much.

  6. Canada takes lead in CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying standings by beating Mexico in a frigid Edmonton.

They should’ve had a penalty kick too in the second half.

If you don't have to wear equipment and skates to play it is a girls sport. Thats right i went there..

Do Shin pads and cleats count?

  7. Nope. I understand the bind they're in. I was in Toronto on the weekend and noticed a good number of restaurants still have patio set ups with heaters. I imagine they still have a method of trying to serve unvaxxed people that want to dine.
  8. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/acuitas-therapeutics-lipid-nanoparticles-used-234731209.html The fact a Canadian company contributed to developing the vaccine isn't evidence it's a Global conspiracy.
  9. No, I just don't have the time skewering the Web for the reference you were trying to make.
  10. Don't you have a link for any of that? No one told the Mayor of Canada's 6th largest city to question the Premiere's re-opening timeline. https://www.cp24.com/news/mississauga-s-mayor-concerned-about-ont-s-proposed-dates-for-lifting-all-covid-19-restrictions-1.5642140
  11. So now, I have to go searching? I'm sure they're VAERS based figures.
  12. Bullshit. And Death isn't the only risk-factor for a child to get COVID.
  13. Local governments took money from Pfizer?
  14. Weren't you hand-wringing about a vaccine mandate for healthcare workers? I guess some communities have healthcare workers where the vaccine up-take is much lower. The Province has given any given Hospital the option to mandate vaccines, but they pragmatically made the decision not to pass on a blanket mandate. Hospitals are places where PPE would be mandated for both staff and patients. A restaurant, a gym, a movie theatre is much different, much tougher. Though I've had varying level of Proof of Vaccine diligence when trying to do indoor dining, enter a gym or play organized sports etc.
  15. People on this site like to point out that 7,000 people in the US die each day. What's the statistical chances that some of those people, earlier in the year, got the vaccine. Especially considering older people got the vaccine first. Not many. But they still contribute to spread. I read last week that almost a third of the cases in Ontario one day were under 19. Anti-vaxxers like to perpetuate the lie that vaccinated people are as contagious as unvaxxed. That's simply not true. If you do get a break-through infection, you're infected for much less time. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/keythingstoknow.html
  16. It's not just the news. It's public officers of health and government officials. Hospital officials claiming their resources are strained. Oh, but they're all in on it too right?
  17. They cost $150+ retail, on the rec travellers dime. But we live in a world where you have to get tested if you have a cold. I just don't buy that these tests cost that much. And if they government is mandating them to enter the country, they should regulate how much people have to pay for them.
  18. I didn't say they were lies. I said they don't have a causal link. Hundreds of millions get two doses. Some may die just as a statistical likelihood. Doesn't mean the vaccine is the cause.
  19. Sadly that means no substantive debate can be had. Official sources can't be trusted. Of course this is the same narrative tactics people use for all kinds of conspiracies: Kennedy Assassination, The Moon Landing, 9/11, The Earth being round. Here's a picture of the round earth. WELL THAT PICTURE IS FAKE!!!! Here's a report on the instances of major side effects for the vaccine: FAKE!!!!!
  20. No I don't know that. All you can muster is some unsubstantiated anecdotes for these "vaccine injuries". Almost 80% of Canadians have has this vaccine. If people were dying in droves, don't you think more would notice?
  21. Austria set to lockdown unvaccinated people amid a surge in cases and hospitalizations amongst unvaccinated.

Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said a national lockdown for the unvaccinated was "probably inevitable".

Two-thirds of people should not suffer because others were hesitant, he said.

Covid has made people lose their minds.

  22. I think we all agree that something like Vitamin D helps with immunity. . . or is it protection?
  23. When was the last time you bought something you had to inject, over-the-counter?
  24. I disagree. You use a therapeutic to treat something. You would have to actively pursue a Therapeutic and likely already experience symptoms. The vaccine is greatly reducing both instances of infection and when breakthrough infections do happen they are much less likely to have detrimental symptoms.
  25. Which is where Carbon taxes come in. OPEC has been artificially keeping gas prices low for a long time. Western Governments are working against this. Gasoline in Europe has been this high for a long. No there isn't. But if you're driving over 100kms a day, you're insane not to look into EVs.
