  1. Ugh! Not for use treating Covid. https://recalls-rappels.canada.ca/en/alert-recall/ivermectin-not-authorized-prevent-or-treat-covid-19-may-cause-serious-health-problems
  2. They aren't accurate at all. I think the distance between WW2 and today have made people ignorant about why those atrocities took place.
  3. Cite that Property taxes are the problem. It's the value of the home that's the problem. I've owned a few properties and found that the MPAC value don't often line up with what the house can be sold for.
  4. Consistently going Godwin makes your argument less compelling each time you do it.
  5. How can you not watch that video and not see some doddering old man that has no idea what he's talking about? I don't have a high-end EV, by any means, and it has a cooling pump for DC charging. EVs meter the amount of current they can safely accept. EVs are only workable for people with a garage they can daily charge the car. Those that live in Condos or don't have their own hydro can opt for Hybrid cars to reduce their Fossil fuel consumption. EVs are certainly not practical for everyone. But they're practical for many people. You have to ask yourself, if you can't get by on 300 kms of range per day, then WTF are you doing with your life? As for the cost of hydro, I haven't seen a huge spike in my electric usage. It's obviously more, but it's not going to break the bank. ACs running all day use about as much. I suspect when Gas Tax revenue dry up there'll be a registration charge of somekind. But that shouldn't be done until the EV adoption rate is higher. We're looking to incentivize EV adoption.
  6. Agenda 21 didn't want any of that?
  7. Canadians looking to a Self-reporting Vaccine data-base in the US to form 100% of their opinions of the vaccine should broaden their outlook. Here are actual investigations into adverse reactions to the vaccine. https://www.publichealthontario.ca/-/media/documents/ncov/epi/covid-19-aefi-report.pdf?sc_lang=en Now some may think that any serious side-effect isn't worth the risk of COVID. Again no one is being forced to take the vaccine, but Governments and employers are making public health decisions to protect those that prefer COVID to the vaccine.
  8. So in the absence of an explanation you, it's the vaccine? Again that's not causation. Because it was the largest mass vaccination we've every seen.
  9. Did I? In fact I was pointing out how low Canada's death rate was in the first year of the pandemic compared to the US. It's a disease that totally preys on Co-morbidities. However, earlier this year, before the vaccine was widely available, variants were harming younger people at a far greater rate. Especially those in poorer communities, ones that couldn't work from home and couldn't take time off sick and usually lived in congregate setting. But the result is the same, Hospitals fill up and people end up dying because of lack of quality healthcare and not just the virus. This was the 3rd Wave in Ontario and caused the longest lockdown we've seen. In the Spring in the Greater Toronto Area every patient that needed an ICU bed had to be taken outside the city to another hospital. Then this fall in Saskatchewan, fuelled mainly by a low vaccine rate, People requiring ICU beds had to be flown to Toronto.
  10. When you vaccinate 10s of millions of people with a two-dose vaccine in a fairly short period of time. Most, in the early days, were already vulnerable it's statistically likely that some will die. It doesn't mean the vaccine is the cause. No one has articulated what causes all these deaths. It can't all be heart conditions and blood clots.
  11. And the Honda requires regular oil changes and Gasoline. People have no problem paying $40k for a new SUV but balk at a $50k EV? It's astonishing.
  12. There is evidence to suggest that previously infected people SHOULD still get vaccinated. BUT we all get to choose our facts these days. ? https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-vaccine/art-20484859#vaccine-benefits
  13. It wouldn't matter if Anti-Vaxxers didn't lie about the risks of the vaccine.
  14. Never said we could eliminate it. It'll become endemic. I was saying that we could "get back to normal". Effectively we are in Ontario, if you're vaccinated, except for the mask wearing. Which I'll concede is starting to grate on me. Total BS. You see case counts in Ontario jumping up to 1000 today yet Hospitalization is still under 200 in the ICU. Case counts go up because it's Cold and Flu season and because everyone is super sensitive about COVID, you can't take a sick day or have Cold and Flu symptoms without getting a COVID test (at least here in Ontario). So everyday 2-3 percent of those people end up testing positive for COVID, but because of an 80%+ vaccination rate hospitals aren't being inundated. We'll see what Omicron does to that.
  15. It's convenient to blame Trudeau for the restrictions we may see for Omicron. This is global. Countries are finding this variant all over the world. If this is a conspiracy and not a global pandemic that will take 2 or 3 years to ultimately beat (like the one in 1920) Governments of all political stripes are in on it. Conservatives in the UK, Liberals in Canada, Liberals and Conservatives in the US (Who fast-tracked the vaccine trials, Trump right? He also got infected and was hospitalized). The Commonwealth Oceania nations have bought in hard on dealing with COVID. I was actually hopeful we could be done with this by Q2 next year. That's still possible, but only if people don't reject all Public Health advice as a global plot to control humanity. And if you really do believe that, the game's over anyway. They've already won.
  16. It's a Pyramid scheme.
  17. DoFo is listening. https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/1001255/ontario-boosting-electric-vehicle-charging-availability
  18. "Possibly". https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/covid-19-vaccines-for-kids/art-20513332#how-fda-determine MSM propganda!!!
  19. I would hope. They also have no plans on mandating vaccines for those under 12.
  20. Hyperbole likes that tips your hand on the type of propaganda you've been consuming.
  21. I agree that vitamins and traditional immune system boosters are helpful. Again, getting the virus and getting sick from the virus are two different things. Especially with so much testing going on. It'll be interesting to see how many Omicron patients get severely ill.
  22. That's correlation vs causation. In reality Florida, Texas and the rest of the South saw a seasonable booth just like they did in 2020. When it's 35+ Celsius every day, people spend much of their time in Air Conditioned homes. It's comparable to how, we in the north, stay inside in the winter. Note the rise in cases in Northern States and in Canada. Southern States are now seeing more seasonable weather where people are more comfortable outdoors, where the virus doesn't spread as well.
  23. Monoclonal anti-bodies don't effect the case count. You take that when you're already really sick. What approved drug can be used as a Prophylactic? I remember Trump tried Hydoxychloraquine as a prophylactic. Still ended getting infected.
  24. Who's denying that therapeutics should be part of a treatment approach? Is this your way to shoehorn in a discussion about Ivermectin. So far no one has applied to have Ivermectin approved for treatment of COVID to Health Canada. But we should just do it anyway, because it's off-label and cheap as opposed to these other drugs that are going through the proper regulatory process. It's only scary to people that believe anti-vax propaganda. And that's the problem. If a booster shouldn't be scary, especially in the face of new variants. But the anti-vax crowd wants to make vaccines this conspiracy for control over the populace.
  25. This policy would never fly in Canada. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/portugal-reimposes-covid-19-restrictions-cases-rise-2021-11-25/ Only in certain environments where someone ISN'T Vaccinated is testing ever a requirement. There's huge pressure on the Feds, in Canada, to remove the PCR testing requirement on international travel. It's an unreasonable expense on a person travelling for leisure.
