If you could choose your...
LemonPureLeaf replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Sex and Gender Issues
I'm non-white, straight and male. I do just fine and don't have any problems with the police with profiling or anything like that. It's all about how one carries themselves in our society. If you walk around sagging one's jeans and look like a gang banger then of course one's going to attract police attention late at night or in high crime areas. If however one is non white but carries themselves as a professional or at least as a respectable member of society then no problems can be had. People are treated the way they look. Right or wrong, that's just how it is.- 173 replies

Doesnt make any sense. The extreme right will never vote for the Democrats so they should be ignored largely and concentrate on the moderates to win. Throw the hard right some meat of course but concentrate on winning the soccer moms and the Latino vote which is very important as well. The middle of the road people who have some conservative leaning but who sometimes vote Democrat...Those are the votes that can be won.

C-51 RCMP/Harper Anti-fossil fuels lobby = Terrorism?
LemonPureLeaf replied to jacee's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Italians aren't white people.I'm not intending to be racist what so ever. I'm trying to have an open and honest discussion about the problems we currently face in today's world. We need to stop letting PC ness get in the way. Its not white people who are flying planes into buildings, trying to light shoe bombs on airplanes and its not whites who have claimed worldwide jihad on non believers in the west. Its people of Islamic descent who are mostly brown Islamic people. Some western whites and blacks have joined their cause sure but for the most part they are brown skinned people. Nothing racist about that at all. Just open honesty which is what we need to be doing if we want to defeat terrorism. Sure some innocent people will be delayed because of it but thats life in today's world and a consequence of looking the same as our enemy. -
This big 250 pound man grabbed the cops gun and got shot. No story here. Don't want to get shot don't attack the police.

Indigenous Rights and Title in Canada
LemonPureLeaf replied to jacee's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yeah, the idea was good but the implementation wasn't. If people are going to live in our society then they need to be up to speed on how to live properly in a civilized society. That goes for any ethno cultural group. As we're seeing from the Islamic terror around the globe, uneducated people breeds terrorism and dissent. -
if the cbc were state controlled they'd be mouth pieces for Harper and not the Liberals.

Indigenous Rights and Title in Canada
LemonPureLeaf replied to jacee's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
"Jacee" now you see genocide? Wow. This is too much for me. Its obvious that they cannot raise their own children properly to be productive adults so the state should step in to educate the children properly so they may be better equipped to go to University which is free and get off the rez and have a real life without government welfare. Its a positive thing not a negative. I truly care about Natives. Its people on the left who need the Natives to be drunk, huffing glue, uneducated, racist and in prison so that they have talking points. If they truly cared for the red man they'd want them to be more successful. -
disagreeing with you doesn't make him a troll. We need more posters like BC to keep the rest of us honest. Members like him are an integral part of this forum. God Bless America, God Bless Canada and God bless BC!

I am not white so you'd be wrong.i don't see race as being relevant. The Natives do though. Everything they do is based on racist views. -
Indigenous Rights and Title in Canada

Seems to me that a new residential school program is in order do that the Native children can be raised properly. with proper morals, ethical and civic values. Its quite obvious looking at the state of today's reserve system that the current Native mindset is broken. They are a welfare state and is largely ill equipped to help themselves at all. The Natives are given millions each year and still cant seem to pay the bills properly due to band leader corruption. The band chiefs steal the money, pay themselves outrageous salaries and are just not smart enough to manage themselves so far it would seem. They claim to not be part of Canada but sure take our money in a hurry -

Its strange that they have all this money yet cannot raise the living conditions on the rez one iota. I thought they were all brothers. Surely they should be able to hell out their fellow red man. They're taught to be racist from a young age. As everything to with the Natives is racist on their part. Kicking white people off the reservation for marrying a Native. The white man tried to tame the savage hundreds of years ago and it would seem that the Natives are still having trouble living and functioning in a modern society. Just as they did back then. -
I don't use religion to support my position at all. I think they are flat out cowards and pussies who refuse to grow some balls once in their lives and die properly. Once again the Me generation wins and we need instant gratification, even in death.

Natives are always crying about something. Why don't they be productive members of society instead of being a drain on its resources. Too many Natives feel that they ate somehow owed by the government. This disgusting line of thinking is passed down through each generation. So that each generation sits around waiting for handouts. A lot of them buy TVs new minivans nice cars but live in squalor and won't spend a dime to fix up their own houses expecting the government to do it for them. They can go to university for free but most would rather sit on the Rez getting drunk or huff glue. Its a sad state if affairs that this cancerous teachings are being passed down like an heirloom. -
BC Teachers Getting Screwed...Again

Climate change is a theory only. Like evolution. Now. What region did you go to high school and which university do you attend? -

Its not a teachers place to brainwash young students but to remain neutral and teach from an objective stance. Did teachers brainwash you during your formative years? What region did you graduate from? Where do you go to school now? -
Canada's War on Terror and the Freedom to Radicalize
LemonPureLeaf replied to eyeball's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
the guy was a terrorist first. Sure its possible for him to be other things too but he was a terrorist first. He knew right from wrong. He would be criminally responsible for his actions. Very clear cut. -
Uhm. I know from experience. I'm not aware of any news source that tracks movements of federal convicts. When you first plead guilty and get federal time you go back to the jail until the bus (which we call the goose) is ready to bring you to federal reception. This used to be at Mill haven in Ontario but is now at Joyceville. You stay there for 3-6 months so they can see how you behave and they use this time as observation to decide what level you should be classified as. One you're classified you'll be soon moved to your mother institution. For murderers they must stay at Mill havens J unit (Max Security Unit) for two years before they can meet with the classification officer again to get reclassified to a lower security level and a chance at getting shipped to a different institution. Convicts meet with classification every few years to try for a lower security level until they are at minimum. Which we call camps. This is how it works. Even murderers get a chance at going to a lower security housing. They're are murderers in minimum right now as we speak. They walk away from them from time to time. Just Google it. I'm not posting this to be an ass. Just trying to let you know what its like in prison. As I say this is first hand experience. Have a good day.
-
murders start off in Max once convicted. They spend two years in there before being reclassified. At this time they can go to a high medium like Collins bay. Drumheller, Dorchester, they can and do work their way down to a minimum security level institution. Not all of them certainly not the notorious ones but murderers still do go to min camps. Lots of them in min. Just saying.
-
Sure it does work. Once we kill that person he never kills anyone again. Works perfectly. Yes they are. Max and medium aren't country clubs granted but minimums are. Have you ever seen inside of one? They have it pretty good. Even the low-mediums in this country are fairly cushy, places like Warkworth and Fenbrook. Both mediums both fairly soft places to do time.
