  1. Leftists have no soul.
  2. Agreed. Librarian's an old man actually. I think is his name is Lipshittz.
  3. Seems like a culture because in Toronto they have a gay village. My friend went to school there told me they have gay dentists, barbers. Gay stores, clubs, even parades. Everything has to be about being gay, for them to feel comfortable. Sounds like culture to me.
  4. Ok, I know. It's not banned by the government but it is banned from most book stores. In many countries it is banned however. The question though is should this literature be banned.
  5. I appose the banning of books. Mein Kampf is banned in Canada, and the library in my town removed it from their shelfs. When I asked why, they said too many people were loaning it out all the time, and the librarian didn't like it.
  6. It's nice that he did things for woman. He should be given recognition, yes I agree. However, why call him "Women of the year" when he's not won. They could easily have found some women who deserves it for the great work she's done. To me it's not fair that a man should get this, while some woman some where didn't get recognized for her work. Men get enough prizes already. Give him his own prize but don't take the recognition away from women. You leftists have been duped again, this time at your own, silly game.
  7. Four is two now? Who cares about your gender, why should it matter. Also, why do you need to identify yourself by your gender. Why for example is "gay" a culture?
  8. Bug meat has the highest protein per gram, up to 60%, and they are low in cholesterol and saturated fat. Only problem is the legs and feelers would get stuck between you're teeth. In other news, leftists will soon be identified as those having hoses stuck up their arse for collection of methane.
  9. My cat is very talkative as well. He is all black and his name is Thomas. He is quite old now and sick most of the time, and he has lost weight. I remember one time that I was feeling quite sad about something, and sitting in the kitchen by myself. Thomas came in and looked at me for a long time. Then he sat on the chair next to me and stayed there for a long time. He put his paw on my leg. I think he knew I was sad and he was trying to cheer me up. Because of this I will always take care of him.
  10. Well I don't know about that. They don't rise "much" unless you look over a longer time interval. Two years or more. Certainly in terms of a generation, my parents had far more buying power than I do. They had only one income but owned a car and a house. They even had a cottage and a boat. Dad's job wasn't even that great, as a welder. Today it takes two professional incomes just to live in a comparable setting, and forget about the cottage and boat. That was before globalization of course.
  11. I see. But if they're not informed, they might not even know it's been deleted. For example if someone makes several posts in one day, and you deem it necessary to delete one of those, they might not know that the post was deleted. Unless a person goes back and checks that the post still exists, they would be unaware that they were caught committing an infraction. Telling them is to your benefit as a mod as well.
  12. I don't understand... is it not mandatory to inform the user if their post is deleted by a mod?. That would only seem fair.
  13. That's the problem. And I'm sure you've noticed how prices continue to rise, not just for air conditioners but for everything, food etc. while wages are not. A well, people who are unemployed because the factory moved elsewhere can't afford to buy one. It's a problem that's grown to the point we are at today, most employers offering menial jobs for low pay, many of them part time only. We are competing with third world countries that have minimal overhead costs because they rape the environment. That gives the 100 dollar a/c, but it's a short term gain. We can only lose this game in the long run. We can't allow these countries to play the game unfairly simply because they don't need to comply with what we call acceptable workplace standards. The only other option is to BECOME like them, poor uneducated workers working in dangerous workplaces for minimal pay, so you can buy a $20 pair of pants. Unacceptable.
  14. Agreed, that was my initial reaction to the thread as well. Happens all the time. In this case certainly not as bad as auto bailouts, or banks "too big to fail". At least somebody is getting jobs here. Canada has done things far worse with companies like Bombardier, who take the money and start with the massive layoffs a few months later. One of the best furnace brands on the market. Corporate taxcuts and incentives to keep production in your home country make complete sense, as does doing the reverse. This is likely how President-Elect Donald Trump is going to make America great again. It won't happen in a few weeks though.
  15. Do you fail to perceive the irony in what I wrote?
  16. Castro is dead. Long live Castro.
  17. The media feeds it 24/7. There's probably like 0.1 of 1 % or even less who are crazy enough to do something, but when they do, we all hear about it. It's enough to whip people into a frenzy of fear. A good sign that their turning is when there sentances become incoherent.
  18. It's no joke, they're serious. As we saw during the aftermath of the US election, these people are potentially violent and the pressure is rising to the boiling point. It's only a matter of time some of the crazier ones start to act out on the threats being espoused by people like the girl on the CNN video ("there will be casualties on both sides"), and cybercoma. Because they hate our country. If there's one thing we've learned about domestic terrorism, it's to take threats seriously.
  19. CNN should give President-elect Trump 10% of their earnings, cause he's making them rich.
  20. A week since you posted that, and the place is still surrounded. No one is making a move, it seems. People are being systematically butchered, Meanwhile, Iraqis troops have cut off supplies going into Mosul. How does that help the innocents? Slaughter of innocents continues in battle for Mosul Fri November 25, 2016 "The terror group's tactic of desperation as nearly 100,000 fighters advance toward Mosul is to simply lob mortars indiscriminately toward government-controlled areas." Wow that's a lot of fighters... Mosul completely surrounded by Iraqi-led troops, paramilitary forces say "The PMU said the crucial Mosul-Raqqa route had finally been shut. ISIS had been able to send resources from its heartland, Raqqa in Syria -- including fighters, suicide squads and explosives -- to Mosul through this route. It was also used as an escape route for senior ISIS members and their families, who fled Mosul for Syria, civilians have told CNN." Lots of time for the leaders to escape, when you're given two months notice that troops are coming. Seems like there's been no progress for weeks, lots of troops waiting to starve them out. Tell me about the General again, the guy who said Trump was wrong and this is the best way to eliminate ISIS from Mosul. Trump had this one right when he said the mission was "going badly".
  21. Interesting. I suspect Cuba was used during the cold war to be a thorn in the side of the USA, and Soviets provided a lot of resources to support of this tiny island nation.
  22. Possibly the admiration is not even about Donald Trump. To paraphrase Marshall McLuhan, "The man is the message".
  23. In itself it seems like nothing. I think what gets some people excited is the idea that, while leftists openly despise the notion that Christianity be taught in our elementary schools, they are ok with any other religion, be it native or oriental, under the guise of "cultural exchange". As though Christian teachings are not also cultural.
  24. Indeed. He was.... "deplorable".
