  1. Trump's newest executive orders: 1) An executive order banning transgender people from 'Mansplaining'. 2) An executive order renaming the Rotunda "The Bigly Dome". 3) An executive order banning the letters D, E, and I, from all federal documents and websites. 4) An executive order that MAGA hats be carved on Mt Rushmore heads. 5) An executive restraining order to keep Don Jr. and Eric at least 500 meters from the White House (and Mar A Lago, and Trump Tower, and all golf courses, and anywhere else he might be). 6) An executive order naming YMCA the official MAGA anthem. (Does MAGA mean Make All Gays Assimilate?)

  2. Crazy. The US government was weoponizing mass media against their own citizens both at home and abroad. Again, consistent with the propaganda you saw during the time of the Rwandian genocide. Vile vile stuff

  3. RFK’s hearings remove all doubt: He’s not fit to lead a key federal health agency "Look, it’s never wrong to ask questions, even about “settled” science. But Kennedy has spent a near-lifetime promoting a dangerous, outright lie about vaccines, even in the face of hard proof that they work. That might’ve dissuaded many people from getting them and then later contracting illnesses they could’ve prevented. Oh, and by coincidence, his anti-Big Pharma claims just so happen to supply ammunition for fellow lawyers suing those companies. Kennedy’s bizarre beliefs go even further: He’s bought into conspiracy theories that the generally acknowledged story of 9/11 isn’t to be believed. He’s stood by claims that “electromagnetic radiation” from Wi-Fi “changes DNA” and is linked to cancer. Most of all, Kennedy lacks basic skills to run a large federal agency, particularly one where “following the science” is actually vital. True, he does support some worthwhile lifestyle changes that can make folks healthier — like better diets and exercise. But there’s too much wackiness in his background to trust America’s health to such a figure. Senators need to block RFK Jr.’s nomination — and keep America healthy again."

  4. Once again, Trump lives up to his reputation, by meeting with Netanyahu. Trump then disclosed in a press conference that he is going to ethnically cleanse the area of Palestinians, in order to build a resort town. Trump said that the USA will occupy the Gaza Strip. A true madman....

  5. (from your post) "It is not as if no one knew about the dangers. From Henry Kissinger to Zbigniew Brzezinski to George Kennan, experienced American statesmen have warned that even talking about Westernizing Ukraine through NATO might be fatal to peace." Leftists here are pretty immune to that line of reasoning. Their official party line is "THIS WAR JUST STARTED BECAUSE PUTIN IS A BULLY WHO WANTS TO TAKE OVER ALL OF EASTERN EUROPE!!!!"

  6. If you want to spread BS, the least you can do, is not source some irrelevant nobody. I searched Google for "Jacques Baud," and found literally nothing (except a bunch of YouTube videos, and him promoting his book). That just speaks badly for google. I use duckduckgo, and the first link that came up was his french Wikipedia page, which can be seen here: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques_Baud Google Chrome can translate it if, like me, french isn't a language you are fluent in. The second link that came up was one of his books: The Russian Art of War: How the West Led Ukraine to Defeat | Amazon The title of the book is remeniscent of something American Professor John Mearsheimer said long before Russia's military operation in Ukraine. Quoting from an article that brings him and others up who warned the west that their path would get Uraine wrecked years before it happened: ** It is not as if no one knew about the dangers. From Henry Kissinger to Zbigniew Brzezinski to George Kennan, experienced American statesmen have warned that even talking about Westernizing Ukraine through NATO might be fatal to peace. As John Mearsheimer cautioned us in September 2015, “the West is leading Ukraine down the primrose path, and the end result is that Ukraine is going to get wrecked.” Mearsheimer’s prescient speech has received 21 million views on YouTube, almost half in the last few weeks, with Washington insiders and media poohbahs excoriating him as a Putin apologist, even as a petition campaign was launched to get Mearsheimer fired from the University of Chicago. We would have better off heeding his warning. Compounding the damage, Washington’s loud championing of the Ukrainian cause has recently been accompanied by contrary signs of weakness and appeasement, from the humiliating botch of the NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan last summer to President Biden’s hint that a “minor incursion” into Ukraine might not occasion a decisive response. Like Chamberlain veering between irrational extremes in 1938-1939, the West’s Ukraine policy has blatantly provoked Russian anxieties and offered Ukrainians the false promise of an American security umbrella, while doing nowhere near enough to actually deter Russia. Ukraine may not suffer as badly as Poland did from 1939 to 1945, but much of the country has already gotten wrecked. ** Source: https://americanmind.org/salvo/the-primrose-path-to-catastrophe/

  7. I don't think that the differing valuations mean that "$100B is missing". I can only assume that when the US says that they're giving Ukraine $177B in aid, it means that they're spending $177B on new military equipment for themselves, and at the same time giving Ukraine approximately that much military hardware/supplies that are a generation or two old. I don't think it means that they gave Ukraine cash or gold to buy weapons with, but if they did they're incredibly stupid. So how much is a Javelin missile worth? There's a cost to buy it, say $50k for the sake of argument, but it's not worth one dollar if it doesn't work. You'd get some poor slob to hump it out into a field, pop his head up to fire it, and give away his position when the rocket that he fires achieves nothing. On the other hand, if it takes out a $2M tank, it's worth more than $50k. I'd say that whatever amount of aid the US gave Ukraine, it gave them the strength to hold their own against Russia, so it's not unreasonable to say that Ukraine got $177B worth of aid. I didn't watch the whole thing, but when they don't explain what they mean by "$100B missing", I lose interest really quickly.

  9. According to Global News, Trudeau has met Trump's demands for securing our border, thus staving off tariffs for a while. In a bid to head off crippling tariffs threatened by U.S. President Donald Trump, Canada has committed to tasking 10,000 frontline personnel with protecting the border. McGuinty also says Canada’s promised contribution of $200 million to fight organized crime and fentanyl trafficking is in addition to the $1.3 billion Ottawa already has announced. The money will help fund the appointment of a “fentanyl czar,” who will serve as a liaison between Canada and the U.S. on cross-border efforts to curb fentanyl traffic. I'm still not a fan of Trump's threats and insults, but he definitely got what he wanted from Trudeau when he threatened these tariffs. We all know that Trudeau was never going to take any form of security seriously. Trump is barely into his third week and he already has Trudeau dancing to his fiddle.

  10. And that's very unneighbourly from a Russian POV. If Canada was working on joining RICS or the Warsaw Pact, how well would that go over with Hillary Clinton? She'd f'ing nuke us before she let us join those guys. Do you understand that?

  11. Russia and all of the eastern bloc are poor. still are. because of the decades of state control. communism. Russia is the second largest producer of oil and has the largest access to natural resources in the world... and an economy the size of Spain. since the fall of communism its been autocracy. essentially the same thing. all wealth goes into a few hands. Russian oligarchs have some of the biggest yachts in the world. the majority of Russians do not have indoor plumbing.

  12. Again, so what? Prevention is always superior to treatment. Yet you weren't willing to accept those odds for your own kids you f*cking hypocrite. He literally said those words. It's there in your transcript and he spent the next several minutes doubling down. You are a gaslighter. So you don't know how herd immunity works. Just say so, this will go faster. Believe me if it was just antivaxxers' kids who were the only ones at risk of disease and death I'd have no problem with it at all. Unfortunately that's not the case.

  13. Prove it. Kinda glossing over the whole "incredibly high rates of paralysis" part here aren't you? But yes very few people die from polio because we have a safe and effective vaccine. Yeah this is sanewashing in action. RFK has made innumerable batshit claims about vaccines, like vaccines causing autism or that “there’s no vaccine that is safe and effective." The idea that this guy is "just asking questions" in good faith is for the rubes. Motherf*cker do you know what herd immunity is?

  15. And it's worth mentioning that the midterms are going to be a lot more important for him than even normally would be for presidents. If the democrats win sufficient support in the house and the senate they are absolutely 100% going to find a reason to impeach him and throw him out of office. Guaranteed. Sure, that requires a 2/3 vote in the senate but a bad midterm could hand that to the dems very easily. There's 35 seats up for grabs and most of them are republican so if they get flipped it wouldn't take that many to make impeachment a real possibility. Only about 15 or so seats would have to flip in the senate to give them the ability to do that. I would think trump has to have realized that and be aware that he would be extremely vulnerable. A trade war that significantly impacts the people of the state is going to get him in trouble and put him at risk

  18. SO you have a specific date where they stopped telling you what you want to hear, interesting. There was collusion tho. See none of that is true, it's fascinating what a media diet of alternative facts does to a MFer. There were numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign, Russia acted to undermine Clinton's campaign and boost Trump's, all of which implies some degree of coordination. What was missing was a smoking gun that would meet the lofty standard of a criminal conspiracy but the fact that the investigation did not establish particular facts does not mean there was no evidence of those facts. Oh I think we can all agree that your behaviour is in no way rational here.

  19. well, if you were "for the people" then you would be against tyranny and for democracy. and Putin is a tyrant. the Russian people suffer under Putin. they have for decades. the Ukraine frees themselves from being a Putin puppet state. and now the Ukrainian government is the bad guy? yeah, i don't get the crazy love for Putin... i mean, i know people have to justify Trump's love for the guy. looks like that might be ending anyways as Trump only likes people with power. and Putin is not in a power position at the moment.

  25. Who the hell thought that it was a good idea to give Ukraine the ability to strike targets deep within Russia? Talk about 'poking the bear' ffs. Maybe the US wanted to see if Russia's mach-12 missiles really worked or something. Well now they know.

  33. Oh look, the loser lefty knows he is losing so he breaks out the gay sexual fantasies Every. Single. Time. And no, trudeau didn't do that. He didn't recall parliament, he didn't even consult with the other leaders. He met with the premieres and even then he's lost control of that with three or four of them refusing to go with his plan and a couple of them either meeting with or looking to meet with trump and his entourage separately. So he can't control the people he is talking to and he isn't talking to the people he should be talking to And this is just a warm up, the real game hasn't even started yet

Do you not have a job or other responsibilities that that's how you spend your time? Jeebus. I am actively opposed to helping asshats monetize misinformation on social media. Find real news and read that instead. ACTUAL journalists will do the work to tease out the details of the story: what we've committed, what's been disbursed, the form of aid, etc.

  40. Absolutely true. In fact Justin won the election partly based on that. Remember when he said we must throw our doors open and accept vastly more refugees? And that picture of that kid washing up on the beach showed up and everybody got emotional and Trudeau said the only reason we don't double or triple our refugees and increase immigration is the will to do so? Remember all that? Pepperidge farm does During harper's time virtually everyone said the immigration policies were fantastic, including immigrants both current and former. Even the opposition grudgingly admitted it. Trudeau took one of the best immigration systems in the world, flooded it and broke it. He has now turned one of the most pro immigration countries in the world against immigration. But sure, lets pretend it had nothing to do with him
