  1. Tom Homan responds to Denver mayor: 'He's willing to go to jail, I'm willing to put him in jail' https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/tom-homan-responds-to-denver-mayor-he-s-willing-to-go-to-jail-i-m-willing-to-put-him-in-jail/ar-AA1uMKPT Pretty simple. You break the law or obstruct those enforcing the law, you go to jail.

  5. Yeah, everything's a cakewalk when you just make shit up. A. The law is clear regarding presidential documents and records: they are the property of the government, not the President. He can't simply claim them forever. That's the whole reason there is a case. B. He ordered things moved to Mar-a-lago on Jan 20 as he was leaving, hence they were moved after he was no longer in office. Again, it wouldn't have mattered, but you're factually incorrect. C. Yes, he tried to hide them. This is all well established. And as has been discussed literally dozens of times, nobody gets prosecuted for having documents. When Biden's lawyers found documents they called authorities and arranged for the return of the documents. Accidents happen. Non issue. Which is exactly what it would have been for Trump. Except that Trump's actions and written record prove that it was no accident, he took them. he showed them off, he refused to return them when legally obligated to do so and he literally tried to hide them from authorities. He even discussed the illegality of the acts with his attorneys. It was willfully illegal. You will simply excuse anything for your master.

  7. Oh man, you've just been caught in a lie. The immunity filing has nothing to do with moving classified documents. It's all about what Trump, and his sycophants, did and said in their bid to overturn the 2020 election. Your source doesn't say that. On January 6, Trump clearly used inflammatory speech that was likely to produce lawless action. In the morning, he told this lie in a tweet – and put the onus on Pence to overturn the election: Jan 6th 2021 - 8:17:22 AM EST Then, the riots broke out. Trump knew the windows at the Capitol were being kicked in. He knew that rioters were chanting, “Hang Mike Pence.” His response in a tweet: Jan 6th 2021 - 2:24:22 PM EST The violence – especially directed at police - at the Capitol escalated quickly after that tweet. He gave his supporters the green light. So, you see, by any reasonable measure, he did incite violence. https://www.thetrumparchive.com/?searchbox=%22Pence%22&resultssortOption=%22Latest%22

  10. I think it has come to the point where Canadians that still support Trump over our own Government, can officially be called traitors, regardless of what people think of Trudeau and the Liberal Government. This is the first time that it's abundantly clear that the United States government, under a dictator, want to harm us and our economy, based on lies about "massive amounts" of fentanyl and undocumented immigrants entering the United States, from the northern border. The number of illegals and hard drugs entering the United States from Canada, is not even a fraction of that of the Mexico-USA border. The sad thing is, it's ultimately going to be the American consumer who is affected the most.

  11. There was nothing wrong with the case. Some of the charges were airtight, in fact. Trump did commit crimes. You simply can't prosecute a sitting president. That's the only reason this case isn't proceeding. Once again, it's a case of a guilty Trump not being held accountable.

Except you made the following claims without any evidence to support them. The typical pattern with you is: 1. Present dogshit opinions as facts without supporting evidence 2. Lie and say you provided evidence and whine about being asked to back up your arguments 3. Go back to 1 and repeat ad nauseam. The pattern has repeated itself countless times and frankly, I'm bored of it. You're boring.

If there were more equality and merit in the system, people wouldn't see a schism between the promise and the reality. They'd be less willing to turn the hotdog cart over...

Putin called NATO's bluff and NATO has been caught bluffing the Europeans have done their usual routine of expecting America to shoulder the load while the Europeans just carry on with ho hum business as usual, along with Canada leading the way in that so now the American electorate has decided that if the Europeans are going to sit on the sidelines then America is calling a halt to this debacle before it gets any worse

  27. there's no path to victory for the Ukrainians the American electorate has just voted to end the war so this is just senseless slaughter without strategic purpose for the Ukrainians now and it's approaching the threshold wherein the Ukrainian lines are going to break then the Russians would start advancing towards the Dniepr River unopposed NATO doesn't have a solution for them the Russians already have what they want Ukraine is not going to be joining NATO the Russians have Crimea and a buffer zone to around it the Ukrainians at this point need to live to fight another day because if they wait until their lines collapse, they will get overrun very quickly thereafter and NATO is not coming in to save them Trump would be saving them from themselves by forcing them to cut their losses

  30. Of course not. What you omit to mention, is that each nation has internationally recognised boundaries, that must be respected. Crimea, throughout history, has mainly been included in the Ukraine, and has been since Ukraine declared independence in 1991. What is even more damning for Russia, is that Ukraine and Russia signed off on the Budapest Memorandum. In exchange for dismantling their nuclear arsenal, Ukraine was promised by Russia that the nation would respect it's sovereignty Russia lied. Russia is the clear aggressors in this conflict (similar to how the are also at fault in the conflict with Georgia). Any resistance by Ukraine against the Russian invasion, should be supported by the UN, NATO and the EU.
    1 point
  31. the Russians are not going to go nuclear in this situation first of all, the Russians are winning, slowly but surely, grinding the Ukrainians down it's just a matter of time until the Ukrainians are forced to sue for an armitice the window of opportunity to defeat the Russians was more than two years ago yet NATO simply did not provide the Ukrainians with even a fraction of what they needed to get that done but furthermore, the brink of nuclear war is not going to be reached on land in the Donbass things do not escalate to that strategic level until it escalates to the high seas basically when one side or the other attempts to impose a naval blockade ; Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0 but furthermore, there are several stages the Russians would go to prior to all out war there's plenty of nuclear sabre rattling options before it comes to that step one would be to resume nuclear testing, with underground tests step two would be to breach the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty by conducting an atmospheric test in terms of a Russian naval blockade, that's going to be when they deploy their submarines starting with seabed warfare they start widespread cutting of underwater communications and power cables, and pipelines then they escalate to mining the choke points to disrupt the Sea Lines of Communication so when the internet starts going down, the power gets cut off and ships start getting sunk, grinding global trade to a halt ? okay, then you can start digging your bomb shelter

  32. OK, I have to ask... considering what appeared to be the push for Ukraine to join NATO: - Do you honestly think that someone who opines that Russia might (maybe / possibly) consider a new entrant to NATO on their southern border to be a threat is amplifying Russian propaganda? Is it possible that a thoughtful grade 6 geography student might pose the same question? He might even join a few dots and ask if Russia would consider the home of the Black Sea Fleet to be something they're loath to relinquish control over. Put another way, are you suggesting that Russia wouldn't see this as a threat, maybe even a provocation? I'd like to know why you think they wouldn't because using your logic, virtually any military member doing the most rudimentary estimate of the situation (EOTS) whilst listening to the news on the drive to work suddenly qualifies as a Russian asset in your mind. -Taken a step further, are you asserting that holding that opinion, or in the case of our grade 6 student, asking questions about the strategic importance of Ukraine and Crimea (to Russia) is an overt display of hatred toward North America in general and democracy in particular? For context, I would have thought all this might be worthy of a moments reflection...

  43. And yet why does so many Canadians go out of their way to tell the world they are not american, that we are so much different, that we blame them for most of the worlds problems....I think we are more than family, we are the same only separated by a border. Canadians take advantage of Americans when ever we can, economically, for defense, even in our international relations, at almost every topic there is...Had this relationship been the other way around we would be dissing the americans as lazy, unappreciative, deceitful, not to be trusted in any way....Putin has nothing to do with this, we have been doing it for decades, and only recently has anyone really brought it up over and over and over again...we are not a reliable partner period. and somehow most Canadians take pride in that...and then wonder why nobody wants to really sit down and talk with us... The US should just kick us out of all our defensive alliances, NATO, NORAD, 5 EYES, all of them, until we can get our sh!t together...use us as an example of this is what happens when to purposely don't adhere to the agreements you signed on to... I've served alongside of US forces in many parts of the worlds sh!t holes. they have my deepest respect, and in many cases considered them brothers in arms...and sadly more resect for them than i do have for average Canadians... If i could i would have moved a long time ago to the states, I served this nation for 34 years, and while i'm proud of my service and hold those i served with, with the highest regards, in most cases my own nation let us down big time, and as a vet it disgusts me how this once great nation treats it's vets...This is not just my opinion, this is most vets i talk to...And canadians know all of this, and sit and watch, almost as if they say glad i'm not one of them poor bastards...when They ( Canadians)are the ones that hold the power to change all of this.... How so, what makes canada so great....talk to me goose...

  44. There are currently 50 nations contributing to Ukraine’s defense. Why is that? (US aid actually ranks 10th as a percentage of GDP.) The US does $1 trillion dollars in trade with Europe. So, besides the destabilizing effects on world security Putin’s war threatens, there are also huge economic risks. You may trust Putin, but many (especially the informed) don’t. There is bipartisan support in Congress for Ukraine: Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY): “This is not just some altruistic project. This passes every cold, hard, realistic calculation with flying colors. It’s the right move for American taxpayers, for American servicemembers, for our allies and partners… Our investment in Ukraine is restoring and rebuilding deterrence for pennies on the dollar.” Senate State-Foreign Operations Appropriations Ranking Member Lindsey Graham (R-SC): “If Putin dismembers Ukraine, he will not stop. China is more likely to go into Taiwan. The world will unravel and no domestic problem gets better here at home allowing Putin to destroy Ukraine – quite the opposite… We’re spending money, but it’s being spent on a good cause, the cause of freedom. So I’m all in, whatever they need as long as they need it.” House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX): “I have supported U.S. assistance because a victory by Putin in Ukraine would further embolden Americans adversaries from Chairman Xi in Beijing, to the Ayatollah and Tehran to Kim Jong-un in North Korea… Last month, I led a congressional delegation to Ukraine and Poland to conduct in-person oversight of U.S. aid to Ukraine. I saw firsthand the process is working.” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY): “Now is not the time… to take our foot off the gas when it comes to helping Ukraine. The single worst thing we can do right now is give Putin any signal that we are wavering in our commitment to defend democracy in Ukraine and around the globe.” Senate State-Foreign Operations Appropriations Chris Coons (D-DE): “More than 40 countries around the world are helping Ukraine… We have to continue to stand by Ukraine. Their fight is our fight. They are on the front lines of freedom, for the world, for this century, and I am determined that we will continue this fight to Ukrainian victory.” House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY): “It’s not just between two countries. It’s a battle between freedom and tyranny, it’s a battle between democracy and autocracy, it’s a battle between truth and propaganda… If Ukraine prevails, the free world prevails, and that’s good for all of us.” House Foreign Affairs Ranking Member Gregory Meeks (D-NY): “Congress and the American people will continue to stand with the brave Ukrainians who are defending their rights and freedom. Ukrainians did not ask for this unjust war of aggression. They are only asking for our support as they defend their home and their sovereignty. And it is in our national interest to provide that support to Ukraine.” House Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH): “Overwhelmingly, there is support for continuing aid to Ukraine, so that they can continue to fight against this aggression of Russia.” Actually, it's pretty nice.

  45. For mixed healthcare, all we need to do is look at Europe where both systems exist. It can be done if the will is there to make it work. Unfortunately, Canadians have been brainwashed to understand that ANY private healthcare is bad while public healthcare is good. What we DON'T seem to understand, at least in Alberta, we already have private health care. Our chiropracters, psysiotherapy are examples of private healthcare. The funding is different but could be changed to reflect what currently happens in other countries. Again, where there's a will there's a way. I don't know what's available in B.C. or other provinces so I can't comment. I'm sure people here will advise. It seems to me that B.C. covers natural health as well or I could be misremembering because I remember mom mentioning that Alberta doesn't cover it. I could be wrong tho'. There are options out there that we must research & not be so afraid of trying something new, especially since what we have now doesn't work!

  46. Why anyone would congratulate the PM or anyone else for that matter in giving back our own money is astonishing to me. Why take it to begin with if they're just going to give it back, not that they give 100% of it back. It just is a way for the PM & his elitists to hire more public servants to do their bidding!! Hopefully, Pierre will slash government when he wins the next election & cancels taxes that are not necessary after cutting wasteful spending as well. Here's hoping anyway.
