You think a 20 year old unvaxxed person is more vulnerable than a 70 year old double vaxxed? If so, you have clearly bought into the binary divide they are hoping you would have.3 points

Geez, do you think I enjoy wearing a mask? It sucks but it sure as hell doesn’t equate to Jews during the Holocaust. What a bunch of snowflakes.2 points

1. I don't know. Isn't that like saying you'd be pleased with peace on earth ? ie. a situation that is unattainable anyway ? 2. Alternative to what ? How can I do this without demonizing every party ? 3. Meh. You're hyperventilating again. Work on being real, that is my advice And don't complain when 95% of Canadians disagree with you.1 point

the more ineffective the government the more they are convinced that giving it more control will solve the problem no matter how many times that strategy backfires they never learn and relish getting burned if the situation gets better in spite of their nonsense, they give the government credit and demand they do more if the situation gets worse, the government wasn't given enough control, and the people they don't like are the reason it didn't work regardless of the results, they always want more government control, they never let any evidence get in the way of their confirmation bias and they'll spin the narrative to try and lead people to agreeing with that bias1 point

you are the snow flake supporting taking people's rights away particularly when they disagree with your covid risk assessment I'd rather be considered a snowflake by you than support stripping people of their rights you think just because they make different choices than you that gives you the right to treat them as less than human but that just reveals a lack of character on your part you want to employ Nazi tactics to fight covid and then bitch about being called on that? who's the real snowflake?1 point

naivete over 9000 if you haven't found a reason not to trust them you aren't looking hard enough or you simply ignore it when you do find it as it is extremely hard to miss either way, such a comment is full NPC silly normies1 point

Erm, when death is an adverse reaction, it kinda is. Tests do not conclude until 2025. It has not been thoroughly tested until then. I'm happy for you. My sister is still suffering and so are thousands of other people. But great that you're okay! You must not have looked very hard. We already know that is not true, because of the shady way they count "deaths from covid". I don't know where you're getting your information from ( I do, really, MSM), but you are woefully uninformed.1 point

Not only that it is unreasonable and authoritarian, it is also not intelligent, in plain words, dumb. Simply, the problem can be more complex, way more complex than tying eyes and marching in a given direction with a banner, hoping you would get somewhere eventually. And I expect most problems in this age would require way more smartness, intelligence and ingenuity than that. Even if it worked before, anyhow, does not guarantee that it would work again and again. No, not a good news.1 point

Hyperbole much? China disappeared people who secretly documented the situation in Wuhan, before China admitted there was a virus, at the start of Covid. In Canada, there are full out demonstrations, those demonstrators can still be found in their homes. You are ridiculous in your claims.1 point

Pseudoscience is what informs people that Jews and Blacks are intellectually inferior to Whites, vaccines cause autism, and that that the Covid vaccine is ineffective at best and deadly at worst. You have personal discretion, and also consequences. That's life, get used to it I'd say the results prove that these policies reduce spread, since those regions who disregard them have consistently more cases and deaths than those who don't. If you'd been paying attention you'd have noticed:. Case counts/hospitalizations go down, restrictions ease. Case counts/hospitalizations go up, restrictions go up. You have the freedom not to wear a mask or vaccinate. Freedom also means personal responsibility for your actions, and personal responsibility includes accepting the consequences of those choices.1 point
-
It’s fascism because it’s pseudoscience and disregards personal discretion. There is no reason to require vaccinated people to mask up, unless the vaccines are ineffective. Since vulnerable populations can be vaccinated, there’s no reason to impose mask mandates when the vaccinated vulnerable can freely choose to mask themselves. Stupid government policies for stupid gullible people who don’t value freedom. Most US states understand this. Canada is China. Top down directives imposed on powerless unquestioning people.1 point

Jews could not stop being Jews. Unvaxed people can stop being unvaxed. Jews faced incarceration, camps and death. Unvaxed can't go to restaurants. How apt the comparison. /s1 point
-
I assume you’re no longer working. Try masking and adhering to protocols all day and see how you feel. You may not agree with people’s reasons for not getting vaccinated, but that doesn’t give you the right to force vaccination on them. Many of this small minority of unvaccinated people have lost their jobs or are suspended without pay. They’re already excluded from mainstream social activities like restaurants and movie theatres. Enough is enough. Our healthcare system can manage any fallout at this point. Those who are vulnerable have the vaccines if they want them and can make the personal choice to take additional precautions. The fascistic government overreach has to stop.1 point

Cite that Property taxes are the problem. It's the value of the home that's the problem. I've owned a few properties and found that the MPAC value don't often line up with what the house can be sold for.1 point

Back in March 2020, I was one of those idiots that said we were over reacting to a flu bug. Thanks to Betsy on this forum, she educated me. I'm not saying I'm not an idiot anymore, but I'm smart enough to listen to people who know more than I do. Thanks Betsy. ?1 point

The rights of cancer patients are of no consequence compared to the entitlements of the unvaxxed.1 point

It takes about 10 years to get a new drug to market. mRNA vaccines, in spite of being studied for that long, have never been brought to market before because the animal trials all failed. While it seemed to have a good effect initially, the animals all became immuno-compromised, got a bunch of weird cancers and then died when exposed to the virus again. Pretty much exactly what we're seeing in the global human trials.1 point

so more of it travels by rail and road great plan ? fake environmentalists always claiming to want to help the environment while supporting policies that undermine it more than the thing they want to ban1 point
-
Let's say grocery stores did require proof of vaccination (to enter stores) instead of physical distancing. There's other ways of getting groceries (and pharmacy) by pick-up and delivery where no customer has to actually enter the store. I don't agree with the anti vaccinators but i support their right to decide what goes into their bodies. The thing is that THEY have to accept they're not the only ones who have rights.1 point
-
We had those restrictions before vaccines. The unvaccinated shouldn't be upset if we are seeing them again. They are the reason why.1 point
-
Not at all what the situation is: NB is going into Level 1 restrictions, which requires groceries stores (among others) to enforce physical distancing OR MAY require proof of vaccination. No ban from government. CHOICE given to businesses. Even your link said that this is an OPTION given to businesses and NOT a ban universally imposed. This OP is simply fearmongering.1 point

Omicron is just the latest excuse to continue restrictions indefinitely. The symptoms appear to be relatively mild. Vaccines appear to have some effectiveness. When will people wake up to the fact that we have to learn to live with Covid because no vaccine or treatment will eliminate it? We vaccinate and treat to mitigate the effects. Imposing and reimposing restrictions won’t make much difference to the Covid death rates, which are low. Restrictions are a totalitarian tool. China modelled their use and pressured international bodies like the WHO to encourage countries to impose them. You live under totalitarian capitalism. Democracy and freedom are done. Wake up.1 point

further proof all the parties are the same and are all woke it's a trash bill1 point
-
Of course. Everyone admits that. They are vaccines but cure and no vaccine in the world is 100% effective. This was said from beginning. Vaccines reduce the chances of transmission and infection. Not eliminate them. That is what vaccines are.1 point
-
At this time when I am responding to your post we do not know enough about this new variant to know how effective vaccines are or its transmissivity or how seriously ill it will make its victims. Scientists are working now to find out the answers to above questions in coming days and weeks. mRNA vaccines however, can be modified to fit the variant easily if current vaccines are found ineffective but the testing and approval would take months.1 point

Myata have you seen this one? https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/vacant-piece-of-land-less-than-30-centimetres-wide-hits-the-toronto-market-and-it-s-attracting-attention-1.5694423 Land less than 30 centimeters wide going for $50,000 in Toronto. Kind of goes against the B.S. we are being fed by the shovelful about higher density lowering housing prices.0 points
