Even if that were all there was to it would that excuse a self-proclaimed "Trained Marxist's" hypocritical extravagance? You seem anxious to believe anything though so I'll help you out. Here's Patsy herself reaching deep for a way to fast talk her way out of it: Made me laugh, myself, but I thought you might like it. She's just helping out her black family, you see, cause "Black."1 point

I heard this on FOX News with Tucker Carlson the other night that the leader and founder of BLM has just bought herself four new homes purchased from all of the money that this BLM founder stole from those who supported her BLM lying cause. This has nothing to do with any black person being shot. It has more to do with just trying to create more racism in America. If BLM cared about those people shot then why do they keep up with committing all these riots and looting and try to burn everything down all the time? It's all bull chit BLM lies. The hatred of white people is getting bigger and bigger in America. A race war just may be around the corner if this racism against white people continues. Hey, we never know, eh?1 point

They should have. They were ordered not to. Same answer. Dunno. I had no problem with them shooting that guy. Anymore than them shooting this girl. See, that's the difference between us. I don't change my positioned based on the politics of the violent lawbreakers. I'm fine with shooting them all.1 point

De facto civil war...if not Left vs Right...it's city mouse and country mouse...suburbs vs inner city...rich vs poor...etc. How it can resolve is not really a mystery...just extremely undesirable. On the other-hand: A weekend in Chicago has the same casualty figures as an operation in Viet-Nam...but nobody notices.1 point

Religious beliefs are some of the hardest to un-entrench and reform, as they are largely immune to logic and reason and have "God/Allah says" as their "proof". Large numbers of people with strongly entrenched and harmful/violent religious beliefs are dangerous. Add in large numbers of others who believe "To each his own" and they become deadly.1 point

No matter how dire the ICU situation is in Ontario, making workers wait until 3pm on Friday afternoon to know if they can work next week is Bush League. Shame on Doug Ford and the Clown show he's running right now.1 point

On the mass-killing front, though, the US is an outlier. It has become a feature of their culture that they seem unable to do anything about.1 point

The perspective that's badly needed in that article is the fact that some country/empire somewhere will alway be the biggest and baddest weapons manufacturer on the planet, period. If not the US then maybe Russia, China (#1 right now for sure), or - god forbid - a murderous religious regime like Iran or Pakistan. The fact that it's America is absolutely not proof that they're evil, as the author is implying. For example, America's need for a navy arose from the fact that her merchant ships were being seized by pirates and it's crewmen were being enslaved, not from a desire to rule the world. That's the world that America grew up in. America was the eventual driving force in the abolition of slavery. "You're welcome, humans. Go fuck yourself Engelhardt you little commie bitch." - America. America's need for a vast military came from a need to help out in WWII, and to help defeat Naziism, not to bomb civilians. And make no mistake, the 2,000+ terrorist attacks per by the people whom the Afghanis work with are intentionally targeted at civilians. Therefor, stats like "700 civilians in Afghanistan" most certainly need some clarification. How many of those people are in the same car or house with a known terrorist when they're killed? If your husband is a terrorist and you make his dinners and raise his children to be terrorists are you somehow classified as "a civilian" for the purposes of his article? Does a 17 yr old who's already been making bombs for 3 years (an Omar Khadr) count as a civilian by virtue of their age? That was a hit piece by a person with a small, naive world view. We'd all love it if there was no need for a military, but I think we all know what would happen to a country that was unable to defend itself from other countries that are actually quite evil, and they do exist.1 point

It is not a ludicrous claim for scientists who have spent decades in universities and did data based research. But you are over all of them put together, shining like a star in our political forum. Haven't had much wine this evening , so beware!1 point

Can't we just steal some more from 3rd world countries? Trudeau is so dreamy.1 point

The public was not informed though dialamah. That's the problem. Literally everyone over 17 years of age in Canada knows who Dr B. Ford is, because promoting hatred of Trump is a favourite pastime of CTV and CBC, but almost no one knows who M Fournier is. That's a huge problem. Trudeau ended the whole We scandal by saying: "This is an instance where I merely should have recused myself from the obvious choice to select We (ie, the company that funnels gobs of taxpayer money directly to my family for virtually nothing)." What he said wasn't true at all. The We scandal reeked to the high heavens in many ways, in fact it wouldn't have been a scandal at all to select We if there wasn't already a scandal lurking in the background. Our media just let that scandal fade off into the sunset after Trudeau made his fake apology. It's like if Hitler apologized for using swearwords and the media started talking about other things. Just remember that Duffygate happened in 2012 and the MSM here was still calling it an election issue in late 2015. Trudeau's We scandal alone was over 100x as much money and it lasted less than a year.1 point

Yeah it is what happened. I saw it. I don't care what he did afterward or what some alt-right nut job says he did afterward.1 point

Funny, then, that climate scientists have been predicting the effect the greenhouse gasses we spew into the atmosphere for more than a century. Of course, the first scientists to say so were laughed at, but as the decades have passed and more has been observed and learned, the conclusion that the greenhouse gasses humans create affects our climate has become inescapable. In the 1990s or so, climate scientists predicted more extreme weather events happening more frequently .. and that prediction has been borne out by observation and data. How could scientists develop a theory, make predictions based on that theory, have the predictions come true decades later, if it was all made up by liberals? Climate change is slow, but slow is not the same as non-existent. I'll be dead and maybe my kids, too, but if we don't get a handle on this, my grandkids will have a tough time. Although, given that there's now evidence that our chemicals may be resulting in smaller penises and wide scale infertility, the effects of climate change may not matter. Hyperbolic nonsense. Please don't vote.1 point

If your job is protecting politicians and your room is about to be broken into by a mob of vermin you're perfectly right to open fire. If they'd shot everyone in that hall it still would have been perfectly appropriate. And if that mob in the hall was BLM or ANTIFA you'd agree completely.1 point

There's an interesting article on how the corporate and socialist left likes to redefine words: https://uncanceled.news/the-lefts-ongoing-absurd-redefinition-of-words/ I can think of a couple more examples: "mostly peaceful" and "insurrection."1 point

What if you are wrong? For the sake of argument, I'll agree that there is a God, who created this world and everything on it, including humans. He gave himans curiousity, intelligence, the ability to learn and build on knowledge. Using those gifts, man created plastic, and now that plastic ends up in the ocean, in the gut and flesh of marine animals; who do we blame for that? Bees around the world are dying as a result of pesticides humans created and put on crops, who do we blame for that? Those are just two tiny examples of how human behavior has impacted nature. There are many more. If God has given us intelligence, curiousity and the ability to learn, and we use those gifts in ways that destroy the gift of his earth, perhaps he also expects us to use the gifts he gave us to turn that around - to treat his gift with respect, rather than burying our heads in the sand and declare "it's not happening". Or blaming the liberals if it is happening. Anyway, attitudes like yours as a mainstay of the Conservative party are part of the reason why so many remain hesitant to vote Conservative, even if they don't like JT; at least Liberals acknowledge the problem, even if they're shit at actually doing anything about it.1 point

Why? Do I need to become a Communist? If there was a choice between Noam Chomsky & Candace Owens speaking, guess who I'm going to see... I get it: You hate America. Is there any other nuisance I should be aware of?1 point

Your right, there are alot of bat shit crazy conservatives, and at one time even i was leaning towards the crazy side, becasue nothing else was working..... But in the same token there are a lot of bat shit crazies on the left as well, take a look at some of the ideas to come out of the NDP Convention. disbanding the police, the military, even some of the liberals ideas when put into context of todays crushing debt, child care, universal income, with 400 bil already spent, and very little to show for it, not to mention a lot of finical institutes are warning about adding to much more debt, and the liberals are talking about spending another 200 bil as a starter... greed is good ,, it makes you want to get out of bed, but the bank only has so much cash... and a major recession is not good for anyone...left or right... Every one knows that the conservatives are not going to take on major cuts to spending already on the books, nor are they going to cut much needed social programs originated during the pandemic... or so says O tool, it would be political suicide to make any cuts to soon, but one must also be reasonable these payments have to stop at some time we can not sustain them forever..... and as far as the environment goes come on do anyone really think the liberal plan is going to do any real good in lowering our emissions ... My grand son could come up with a better plan... take our money in a form of taxes , then give it back to us at the end of the year.... yup I'm convinced... I'm not sure how everyday Canadians can stand there and vote for some one that has lied, cheated, covered up, refuses to take any responsibility for any of his actions, is above the law.. And if that is the government that Canadians want, it is one they deserve... Canadians want what you call as their due... i say the well is only so deep, and when she runs out then what, who cleans up that mess , our grand children... why , because we did not have any vision to look forward... todays Canadians don't know what it is like to suffer, when your country is broke the dollar is worth nothing, and we have to depend on the west to pull us up out of that, ask the Greeks what it is like... Capitalism built this nation, not social programs... and yes everyone should call out the wingnuts and extremist, on both sides, but also make decisions based on facts and figures, know solutions, not by spending it's way out of debt...1 point
