The much maligned (by anti-Trumpers) USSF (Space Force) was pretty brilliant, as well. Rejuvenated NASA as well as provided the needed coordination between quasi-civilians (like Elon and Branson) and the military to get much more done. With the Democrats, NASA, however, is likely to go back to being a gutted placeholder...pretty much abandoned by Obama. Obama turned NASA into a Muslim outreach organization, if you recall. Not Charles Bolden's best moment.

It was a memorable 4 years. I wasn’t paying that much attention for the first 2, but the tax cuts and then the China trade war were high points among many. I finally realized for myself that there really is a deep state. Its tentacles reach into all federal agencies and both Houses, and even the Justice system. Trump brought them to the surface.

Problem was her rightwing record as California Attorney General and her complete lack of ability to talk to average people when she's not making speeches. That's how she faded away so fast (winning only one convention delegate) and the leaders had to parachute Joe in to stop Bernie (again) to have the centrist candidate the big corporate donors liked! They wouldn't care if Joe can't finish the job, as long as they can stick someone else in who's younger and they hope is able to make a go of it campaigning for reelection.

Which is why all of the free speech and anti-war activists who wanted Trump to issue a pardon for Julian Assange and Ed Snowden were sadly disappointed! According to the guy who divulged the CIA's torture program, former CIA employee - John Kiriakou, a White House staffer representing the President, told him it would cost $2 million to get the pardon. And since Kiriakou was already released from prison several years ago now, paying a 2 mil bribe would be ludicrous, since that would be more than what is pension at the CIA was worth...which was his main reason for asking in the first place. Sounds like Donnie was only interested in selling pardons, or giving them away to creeps who he was told had lobbying efforts behind them that could be politically risky to cross! And that's how four Blackwater killers...mercenaries got pardoned!
