  1. Trump does not do 'noble'. Trump does 'what's in it for me?'

  3. I'm serious. I know it is politically, legally.....incorrect. But I think one of these true universal values which beyond race, culture, ideology....is: if some one does a favor to us as we requested, we feel obliged to do something in return once he or she has trouble for doing it. I think most of these rioters wouldn't be criminals but common normal people if they didn't believe in Trump. And they did the crime for Trump. I know it seems not right according to all kinds of political-correct books, but since Trump has done many not-right things, what does it matter if he does a bit more wrongdoing? Maybe someday Hollywood would make a movie President Trump. Would it be a noble ending that in the last day in the White House, the president, after all those dumb things he had done, signed a pardon for his nobody brainless followers, knowing Pelosi would use it as evidence of inciting a riot to throw him into a jail?

  4. It’s a targeted attack on the United States the largest cyber attack in US history. They hit the state department, the treasury department, homeland security, the Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories (where nuclear weapons are developed), the National Nuclear Security Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and many more. The damage assessment alone is expected to take years. And Trump tried to deflect blame from Russia. Again. That directly contradicts your narrative. Putin has owned Trump since day 1 and Trump has done nothing in return except lick Putin’s boots

  7. No, I don't notice that. In fact, the faces of the main guys trying to break through the doors are pretty bare. Hopefully the cops can find them with the help of other videos and charge them with murder.

  8. You also left out the part where Trump ordered a sudden withdrawal from Syria, abandoning Kurdish allies to a Turkish assault and handing territory over to Russian proxies , causing Trump’s own Secretary of Defense and several other officials resign in protest Republicans are trying to have it both ways as usual with 2 contradictory narratives: 1) Obama was bloodthirsty globalist launching air strikes and drone strikes all over the world while Trump ia an America first isolationist who won’t be dragged into foreign conflicts....but also 2) Obama is a weak-kneed surrender monkey to afraid to fight for what’s right while Trump is a fearless warrior leader who will destroy Americas enemies anywhere in the world.

  9. HAHAHAHAHAHA. BULLLLSHIT!!??? More like Trump never wasted an opportunity to praise Putin and deny Russian meddling and even just recently after Russia launched the largest ever hacking cyberattack on the US government and Trump tried to defend Russia. He debased himself so badly in Helsinki he then had to read an apology letter that someone else clearly wrote for him

  10. You are so pathetic and desperate to defend your fascist terrorist mob leader who even days later still can’t even bring himself to appear in person to condemn the act. He appeared in person during the attack to tell the terrorists “you’re special, we love you” though

  13. My best bud's eldest son just returned to New Zealand for another 6 month contract. The drill is to get a current Covid test result then apply to NZ for entry. Once you have applied, you have 7 days to arrive (they approve or reject very quickly). When you arrive, you are TAKEN to a quarantine hotel and kept there. You are tested once again and then monitored constantly. At end of quarantine you are free to carry on. Only exception is critical essential services (which he is) but even that takes permission and is a rare exception.

  18. The Globe puts things fairly succinctly on our lackadaisical response to the virus. There are many ways to stop a pandemic crossing the border. Maybe Canada should try some In an effort to minimize new cases of COVID-19, Australia has instituted some of the world’s toughest quarantine rules. Unlike Canada, when someone arrives from overseas, they aren’t sent on their merry way with an on-your-honour promise to hole up at home for two weeks. Australia requires returning travellers to quarantine at government-supervised facilities, in most cases at their own expense. Travellers flying in to Sydney are charged roughly $3,000 for meals and accommodation; the bill is $5,000 for a family of four. Canadian officials, of course, continue to strongly recommend against non-essential foreign travel. However, there have not been strong measures to either discourage foreign travel or to bring in a testing regime robust enough to make foreign travel safe. Ottawa made a big deal about “closing” the border last March, but it really only applies to foreign tourists. It doesn’t cover Canadians leaving or coming home, or essential travellers, notably truckers. The system to monitor travellers and their health is minimal security theatre. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/editorials/article-there-are-many-ways-to-stop-a-pandemic-crossing-the-border-maybe/

  19. Covfefe is now a word! It will be credited to Trump. A funny misspelling on your phone. For example, Roger types: "Bill is a rjckihg zzxholl". Roger pulled a covfefe. Meanwhile, anybody with a brain knows he meant 'coverage'...and those thumbs just hit the wrong tiny keys. You've done it. As for immortable...it's one of those just not found in Webster's but still gets used. If it gets used a lot, it will get added. For example...the word sympathy grew out of empathy. They both mean pretty much the same thing.

  20. It's amazing that Trumpists will defend their leader, until the bitter end. There is no reasoning with them. The cookies are beginning to crumble, and pretty soon there will be nobody left to defend the treasonous acts of the Trump Administration. Like many ex-cult members, they will downplay their support for their fallen hero.

  25. I have to admit that the witch hunt is on and the screws are being tightened. The public shaming is disgusting. We need to see stats on deaths due to suicide and death rate differences compared to pre-2020 years for a variety of terminal and catastrophic illnesses. The costs of financial ruin, social disconnection, and untreated illnesses must be enormous. Without a full accounting of those numbers, there can be no accurate accounting of the impact of Covid 19 with and without restrictions. Obviously restrictions are necessary, but it comes down to degree. I don't think government should ever have the right to destroy businesses or prevent people from traveling and using their property. Where online work isn't possible, workplaces need to be able to operate. Clearly effective treatments are available, because the rich have them. That's where government should be spending. The anti-virals and steroids exist. Vaccinations should also be seriously ramped up with government funding. Instead we got socialist pogie and totalitarian restrictions.

  32. Hmm, I see. So there is a fine line here between allowing freedom of expression on social media, vs. opening up to foreign attackers that use it to manipulate. The old ideas, rules about safety, controlling propaganda, espionage, do not apply well to the internet. Because it is international.

  34. The US Constitution was designed by people far more interested in preventing a dictatorship than efficiency. It has three branches and four competing centers of power and a long tradition of an apolitical military which swears allegiance to the constitution and not the government. Now if you are smart enough, and successful enough, you can gain control of say, the presidency, and both houses of congress. Trump did that, but he wasn't really smart enough to exploit it. He was a kind of a lazy assed authoritarian who couldn't get his ass out of bed early enough to work hard enough to accomplish much. He did succeed in putting a bunch of very conservative judges into power, but those people, once in power, don't need to do what you tell them and don't need to care about you want. There's not much you can give them anyway. And besides, they swear to the constitution too. Getting enough fiercely loyal lawyers (a group not known for fierce loyalty) willing to ignore the law (and risk their career and jail) and do whatever you want takes a lot of cultivation and preparation and indoctrination and time. Of course, if you got the military on your side you can ignore the judges. But that's hard, too. You need to cultivate not only the generals but the junior officers and enlisted people. That's kinda hard to do secretly, especially when there's that tradition of obedience to the constitution. So even with a Republican administration (most military people are conservatives) it would be a herculean task taking many, many years. And without the military or the judiciary, you can't impose a dictatorship even with control of the administration, congress and senate. And even trying - well, there are elections every TWO years. You'd lose control of one or all three of them. So yeah, that's why.

  35. LMAO Beavie. I'm arguing with a person who got busted for telling an extremely serious and consequential lie about the President of the USA, and who's now pretending not to believe what is plainly written for all to see in the dictionary. It's that simple. You've turned your one lie into two lies now. FYI "March on Washington" means "attack Washington", period. Full stop. By definition. It's as plain as the day is long. The significance of that turn of phrase cannot be understated in light of the fact that buildings in Washington DC were attacked. What you did was put words in the President's mouth that he absolutely did not say at all. You are the lowest form of liar that there is and that's an absolute fact. Just own it. Everyone here already knows that you're a liar anyways Beave, this is nothing new.

  36. As always Beave when you can't contradict what I'm saying you simply accuse me of saying something else. I never said that nut you're obsessed with wasn't Q. I said radicals from both sides appear at political events to stir things. This masked guy trying to break windows at the Capitol Building wasn't a Trump supporter but the guys who pulled him off were.

  39. Last year, the City of Minneapolis burned for three days because BLM's George Floyd protests turned into riots and looting. Democratic leadership at the city, county, and state level refused to intervene early on. Several dead, $500 million in damage, 1500 businesses impacted, one police precinct burned down. Yay democracy !
