Why can't people on this forum STFU about Muslims? Every thread devolves into an anti-Islam debate lol.1 point

Trump will win but at the same time Congress will be Democrat--controlled leaving Trump in a weak position like Obama in his second term. In 2024 there will certainly be a Democrat elected President. However, none of the ones on offer this time.1 point

TBH I’m just guessing that there’s a lot of pressure on Jews to be politically correct because there’s so much anti-Israel screed making the rounds on social media and in public protests by bigoted minorities & their ignorant followers. Palestinian refugee camps exist for the sole purpose of fomenting hatred against Israel/Jews, our own government tolerates hate rallies against them, so Jews can’t take any controversial stands on hot topics or they just propagate the negative stereotypes. For anyone to be publicly perceived as supporting Trump can be very unpopular, and the Jewish community can’t afford to lose any support. I don’t blame Rue for walking the line, but for anyone who’s not a Jew to stand firmly on the side of ignorance re: all things Trump is just gutless.1 point

I have respect for Bloomberg. I don't think he even wants to be president. He just hates Trump and what Trump is doing. He sat back and watched and hoped and probably tried to influence the Democratic party into putting out candidates who could beat Trump. They didn't. So he's finally jumping in himself, much as he did when he became mayor of New York in order to save it from the incompetent and corrupt Democrats who had been running it into the ground up until then. Sanders and Warren can't win against Trump in the battleground states. Their ridiculous promises, aimed at getting progressive votes, won't play well in Michigan and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Republicans will have enormous ammunition to use to scare voters away from them, everything from slavery reparations to paying off college loans to nationalizing health care. In states like Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Michigan that will cost the Democrats big time. As for Mayor Pete... too little experience, no great charisma and by the way, he's gay. I read with some hilarity how some of his supporters in Iowa were asked about him being gay and they didn't even know he was. That's probably because the media, ensconced in liberal urban centers, doesn't dare mention it. Their attitude is it doesn't matter in the slightest and if we mention it someone might call us homophobic. And in those urban centers, among liberals, it doesn't matter. But the election isn't going to be won or lost in LA or New York. It's going to be won and lost in battleground states which Trump won by only a few thousand votes last time around. And him being gay is going to cost Mayor Pete more than a few thousand votes in those states. He's got 4% support among Blacks, for one thing. Black America is not very woke when it comes to homosexuality. A Democratic candidate with very little Black support is not going to win in Michigan or Pennsylvania. And the blue collar hard hat vote isn't all that keen on homosexuals either. The Democrats need to realize most of the country isn't as 'woke' as their progressive wing or Trump is going to squash them come November.1 point

Sadly it’s not just that! I mocked them last time, when the British guy was having a near meltdown that Trump was responsible for all the worlds ills. Couldn’t stand it anymore I guess, I had to say something. Interestingly, the young Chinese guy thought what I said was funny. The other Canadian lads, not so much. Doesn’t matter, I don’t need them to be my friend. And I never discuss it when Donald Trump wins, because I know it triggers them. I just smile when reading my cell phone, in the lunch room. That kind of self-satisfied grin that says... thanks Donald Trump.1 point

Michael Bloomberg is now trying to cut off big money donors to other Democratic candidates, starving them of campaign funding. All while Bloomberg buys as much media ad time that he can with an unlimited, self financed budget, further shutting out his competition. Sanders is still playing small ball with lots of modest donations.....$25 million total in January alone.1 point

In Finland we have had a presidential-candidate who is openly gay and even though he is otherwise popular he is deemed by the electorate as too gay. He has lost two elections now. I dare say Finland is far more progressive in this respect than the United States will ever be. If we turn down an openly gay candidate even though he would otherwise be electable I would not give such a candidate a lot of chances in the USA.1 point

You're right...I'm so sorry. I should have come clean with you a long time ago. I get my news from my TV, the Internet, newspapers, poster's links in this forum. I have at least 16 news channels on my cable subscription. These include Fox, Global, CTV, CBC, Chek, NBC, Euronews, BBC, Al Jazeera and others. I tried to delete CNN but our cable provider doesn't believe in free speech so...effing deep-state...its everywhere. I occasionally browse our stores magazine rack's which are filled with all sorts news sources and I also have a subscription to National Geographic. If there are any of these sources that you know are part of the hate Trump Media mob could you please point them out and I'll stop watching them? I'd really like to go to bed at night with a heart that isn't troubled. Thanks so much. BTW how long do I need EFNT? The enforcement clamps really hurt my eyelids.1 point

As it turns out Omar is not a popular man in the US, US civil courts will not force military courts to hear Omar's appeal....go figure it has nothing to do with justice for a terrorist, but more about the politics around it, the US is not going to admit they were wrong and give Omar nothing for his troubles... But mean while in Canadian courts, they have made a decision to force Omar to answer the widows questions, she wants to know of all the statements he has made which ones were false as he claims.... our courts suggest she has the right to know, what is true or false.. This is just going to pour more fuel on the fire....and I hope it does...1 point

That's part and parcel of how western feminists think. They embrace (with horror) the ideas from Margaret Atwood about how woman hating Christians in the future would remove women's rights and make them wear goofy red outfits, while completely dismissing that much of the Muslim world does worse than that NOW. Not just dismissing it but embracing it as a wonderful expression of their culture, and defending it tooth and nail! Oh, save women from the terrible Right! Oh save the wonderful Muslims from the terrible Right!1 point

Lol. CNN is pathetic. Whether you agree with Trump or not......Trump did the right thing for praising China over the coronavirus! Praise is a form of encouragement. Just think, moron - the quarantine of Wuhan and other cities...... is a good thing for the world!1 point

Most refugees are simply fleeing poverty. And I was responding to questions put. The relevance would be in the danger of bringing in tens of thousands of people each year who have no intention of ever integrating or accepting our culture and values.1 point

No, it’s cheapest when you start young, and you don’t have to worry about pre-existing conditions. Taxes are lower in America, so is the cost of fuel, food, housing, etc. If somebody wants to, they can afford insurance. But many people choose not to, because they’re irresponsible. Regardless, the vast majority of Americans have health insurance. Either through their employer, or through the government run options like Medicare and Medicaid.0 points

The Roman Catholic Church is riddled with criminal, homosexual, pedophile Priests who pray on young boys. If a parent sends his/her young son to the RC Church are they in fact committing a child-abuse. They know about the homo Priests so it is child abuse. Isn't it?0 points
