  1. Drivel. Anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim attacks are carried out by White Supremacists. Islamic extremists attack everyone.

  2. This mindset is made up of a couple of things, a sense of entitlement, we have lived so long under the American defense umbrella that we now demand the coverage for free, and feel slighted when they ask us to step up and pay for some of our own defense cost, or to pay an equal share in our defense agreements...Twofaced once again we are delighted they are paying for our defense freeing up bils to be spent on luxury policies and tax breaks...but ever chance we get we stab them in the back and making it a national past time that we are proud of...we are cry babies , we want a seat at the grown ups table, but our actions tell the world we are not ready for pants just yet, we will always be at the kids table....G-8 nation or not... You and a good majority of Canadians will be finger pointers your entire life telling everyone what is wrong with this world, and how to correct it. and you'll do that from sitting in front of your computer eating Cheeto's with a 2 liter bottle of coke...all talk no action. And those Canadians that are willing to step up because they are embarrassed and can't sit there and do nothing are quickly deemed to be on far right , and are to be shouted down like dogs. Because paying ones way is not a Canadian value, and should be considered extreme at all costs...we can't pay 2 % o GDP for defense, Can't pay out indigenous claims for land or abuse as children, can't pay for climate change, can't pay out our wounded vets , can't bring home 2 men stuck in China...the list is to long to spell out everything...we are a nation of cant's. Th e US has been forced to take on this role as the worlds policemen, as nobody else has stepped up , forced to use mostly their own tax dollars to maintain a force structure that is capable of doing the job not just within their own borders, but through out the entire world. You and many Canadians may not like it , but here we sit unable or unwilling to either help or come up with another solution. You and those like you are a nothing more than a dead beats, welfare abusers, that drag the rest of the country down to the depths of the left... you sir deserve a round of applause , "stand up take a bow", your the tool of the day...

  3. The failings of the UN are grotesque and many but we need supranational organizations to confront the world’s problems. The UN represents one halting step in that direction.

  4. Labour can't win with socialism. They tried that with Michael Foot and Neil Kinnock and now twice with Jeremy Corbyn. Lost every time. Labour wins when they have a conservative with a red tie in charge. Someone like Tony Blair who more or less promised in 1997 not to change anything the Tories had done but he delivered a much-yearned change of power after 18 years of Tory-rule. The Labour-party needs to find a Tony Blair 2.0

  5. Exactly...Truman had to call him off when he wanted to clean up China. Trump has a long way to go to equal historic levels of American power applied aggressively at home and abroad. "Hitler" wishes he had it so good.

  6. By 'smearing Muslims' do you mean 'citing the actions of Musliims, quoting from polls which discuss Muslim social and religious values, as well as from their religious texts'?

  7. Are they beaten to death or imprisoned and raped if they refuse, as is the case in some Muslim countries? Are they forced to return into buildings which are on fire because they're not wearing the right face coverings? Extremely rarely. Certainly not as often as Jews are attacked in those western countries - by Muslims. And THOSE physical attacks are far, far more violent.

  8. Dugout Doug did have his MANY detractors...even during WW2...given the less glamorous theater (New Guinea). But then nobody was sure if he was Army or Navy...really. Not really a Trump...more a product of the American political system overseas. Didn't win an election...either...just faded away.

  9. Trump is an American president...like the others before him. Jackson...Lincoln....Teddy Roosevelt....FDR...LBJ....Nixon...Bush...take you pick. America had been thus long before Hitler or Mussolini....and crushed them.

  10. Lemme know when Trump murders 10s of millions of his own citizens. Will you?

  11. No, they actually can't. There are no countries in the world as religiously oppressive as Muslim countries routinely are. There are no non-Muslim countries which ban other religions, which ban their temples or churches, which ban their religious celebrations. And while there are non-Muslim countries which are oppressive, ALL Muslim countries are oppressive. You'd think with 57 of them scattered about the globe at least a few would be enlightened but nope. And blaming it all on Muslim governments is nonsense. Repeated polls have shown that large majorities in most Muslim countries support harsh religious laws. As for the growth of anti-Muslim laws in other countries, that's virtually all inspired by violence from Muslims.

  12. That openly idolize a murderous pedophile warlord who hated Jews more than Hitler as the perfect man. As an unbeliever, I help but notice the little things.

  13. With yourself, Islam is ALWAYS the victim....the poor thing. Muslims in Red China conduct terrorism, too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism_in_China Muslims in India are protesting India taking-in non-Muslim refugees from Muslim regions. Why is that I wonder?

  16. The remoaners dont give up. They never will. The latest straw they are clutching at is to point out that in the election 16m people voted for the remain-parties while 14m voted for the leave-parties. The electoral system just played into the hands of the leavers. This despite that the Labour-party stated before the election that it was not a Brexit-election trying to focus attention to issues such as the NHS and social issues, the strong points of Labour-campaigns. However, once the election was over all of a sudden it was a Brexit-election after all. Usually it is considered an admirable trait when you never give up. However, there is a limit to that admirability such as refusing to acknowledge a result of a democratic referendum.

  17. Is there a site that has Christianity's weekly death toll vs non-Christians? We know Islam has one (Religion of Peace). It would be an interesting statistic to see. Surely there must be some examples of Christians murdering swaths of people for not being Christian.

  18. Matt Shea, a GOP lawyer elected to caucus in Wahington Statestate had a vision ..." to create a 51st state called Liberty and distributed to his closest followers a “Biblical Basis for War” document that calls for the “surrender” of those who favor abortion rights, same-sex marriage, “idolatry” and communism. “If they do not yield — kill all males,” it said." It's easy to write him off as a crackpot, I suppose, but there are more than a few people in the States who believe as he does - that the Bible should be the basis of law in the States and that Christianity be imposed on everyone as the State religion. There is even a 116 page action plan currently being implemented called Project Blitz. If enough extremists like Matt Shea get together with less violent groups like that behind Project Blitz, would the result look much different than ISIS in the Middle East? In the West, our laws and institutions are strong enough to withstand these kinds of challenges, but would that be true if we we were de-stabilized in some way, perhaps through climate change? Christianity, given power, is no different than Islam, given power.

  21. Yeah, almost as bad as when politicians and unions get together to tilt the playing field. BTW: you DO realize that your Messiah, Tommy the Commie was a director of Husky Oil in his later years.

  24. ^^Exactly, I don't think he's intentionally fascist. He is like most people and just following the leftist agenda put forth by others. Just doing what he's told by the UN, and EU.

  25. We had to ASK permission because Boeing is a US company and has complete ownership of the tech and all the rights that go with it....as part of the contract we agreed we would seek permission to sell or buy any American made aircraft or tech... As we as a nation do not build military aircraft.. worth mentioning any ways. This is another example why politics should be taken out of purchasing for any government dept, 5 bil for 18 to 24 aircraft is one expensive deal....that and the fact the liberals have been promising to fix our procurement sys since 2015, until they do, we are not buying shit, DND has already returned 8 bil dollars unspent for procurements already.... As for flying trash cans the Aussies have already purchases F-18 E & F models as interim fighters, until all their F-35 are delivered....and yet we are left with purchasing another nations 2 and hand crap .. because we are retarded when it comes to our military.... or more to the point we are to cheap to spend our dollars on things that matter in this country.... All of this is due to our own citizens mind set , with out the peoples support our military will always be the cheapest solution....

  26. That's just gravy, and I agree that Trump has easily stoked the pre-existing anti-American hatred by some Canadians to a new level. Some Canadians have been bitching about the USA for generations as national sport...Trump just gives them more to bitch about and enjoys doing it. Dr. Strangelove is/was Hollywood....JFK and Reagan came far closer to this than anything Trump could do even if he wanted to. Welcome to the...FEAR !

  27. There has been a lot of protests in London tonight over the election-result. If anyone thinks that after this election the remoaners will finally give up and shut up that person is in for a disappointment. Those people will never give up. Even if Brexit is delivered the focus then turns to rejoining and the new dividing line goes over rejoining and staying out.

  28. My understanding too, Corbyn was Marxist and anti Semitic, I can't imagine the damage he would have done had he got a majority. He promised free internet, to redistribute the wealth (read taxes and more taxes) nationalize some companies and massively increase public spending.

  29. I'll be glad to see the back of Jeremy Corbyn. He's been the weakest opposition leader I can remember. Labour is even losing ground in Wales, places that have been Labour since the war. It's a clear message to move back to the centre, New Labour ('97-'10) was the only time in the last 40 years that we didn't have a Tory PM.
