  1. Well, Hudson Jones assures us that it's only "a few" wearing the tshirt - that's like maybe 3. About the same number of extremists in the religion, according to apologists for Islam. Weird how only 3 people wore the shirt yet it got mentioned in 2 books. Probably those damn Islamophobes.

  3. Dougie93's cryptic terms and phrases . . . well crafted and readable, although not entirely understandable. Bod Dylan-esque . . . . Thought Dougie would respond with "the answer my friend is blowing in the wind . . . " Then there's your answering a post not addressed to you. Full of assumptions and innuendo . . . . yawn. As Teena mentions above . . . . "Canada should not be changing rules for certain religions. One rule for all." Would like to see that for 'religions and race' . . . Indigenous treated differently in the court system.

  4. Well, actually, in October of 1962 Diefenbaker ordered the Canadian military to stand down, because he said there was no point in fighting a nuclear war. The military literally mutinied against the Canadian Government, ignored them, and deployed under orders from Washington. This sent a shock wave through the Canadian political class, both the Tories and the Liberals. This is why Pierre Trudeau started the project to dismantle the Canadian military, Ottawa does not trust it And rightly so, because the military does look to Washington as its real master. Admiral Norman being taken as a political prisoner is par for the course, any sign that the senior brass might be disobedient incites panic in Ottawa.

  5. The New Nuke Plants, Gen IV or whatever, actually eat the pollution of older nuclear power plants as fuel, or so I hear. That's another thing that let's you know a lot of fake environmentalists don't give a sh*t about the environment at all, irrational hatred of nuclear energy despite it being the best way to lower carbon emissions.

  7. No one goes to public hate rallies to listen to the white nationalist haters. A lot of people go to make them feel unwelcome, drown them out, because hate in public spaces is unacceptable to most community members. It's not acceptable for children to be exposed to racial hatred, and unacceptable for targeted communities to have to be exposed to such hatred in public spaces, limiting their freedom of access, movement and comfort in public areas of their own community. Not illegal perhaps, but unacceptable to most people, and we are free to express that. If you can provide evidence of public hate rallies with a big adoring audience, please provide links. But really, it hasn't happened in Canada. A few 'nouns' of Odin in leathers and boots, ready and seething to stomp people is not an adoring crowd. They are always far outnumbered by normal, decent people. My, such violent imagery! White nationalists do devolve into threat and violence so easily. See, this is where you are wrong: In public spaces, anybody has a right to show up. EG, the Raptors champs celebration - the crowd and Doug Ford all had a right to be there, but most of the crowd didn't want to listen to Doug Ford, so they booed him, and he quickly left the stage. That's just freedom of expression, as recommended by the Canadian Civil Liberties Association: counter-speech and denunciation, rather than censorship. You can't limit our freedom of assembly (to "show up") and freedom of expression ("counter-speech and denunciation") in public spaces. You and your white nationalist buddies can show up to speak, and so can we. Your rights don't outweigh our rights in public spaces. Even people who do support white nationalist views don't show up in public spaces, because they don't want their views publicly known as they may be denounced by friends, family, community, fired from their job, etc. because those views are so abhorrent to most people and definitely not good for business. That's why there are no public audiences for white nationalists. And, of course, hate propaganda - public expressions of hatred against identifiable groups of people, including online - are limited by law in Canada too: https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/c-46/section-319.html If you white nationalists want to speak to an adoring audience, you should get a private room. The public can still show up to denounce those entering the venue, of course, so ... perhaps hire cars/bus with dark windows to bring your audience to the venue via a back entrance to try to avoid the counter-speaking crowd outside. It is quite complicated being a white nationalist, of course, because you're just so unpopular. But, hey ... that's the life you are choosing, and nobody promised you an adoring audience. Sometimes I think damaged people choose that life of perpetually bringing denunciation on themselves to validate and sustain their own victim-hood and self-hatred, bullies born of abuse, picking on and spreading the abuse to others. Sad, really. And we don't seem to have sufficient or appropriate resources in Canada to assist white nationalists in overcoming their descent into self-destructive hatred. https://www.cbc.ca/cbcdocspov/m_features/former-skinhead-now-helps-others-leave-hate-groups

  12. https://globalnews.ca/news/5952811/justin-trudeau-blackface/ On that note, can you imagine the outcry if this had been the leader of the Conservative party who had donned blackface, instead of the prime minister? Would the reaction be different? I would hazard a guess that the reaction would be no different, except the opposite-minded posters here would be scrambling to defend Scheer. What this issue has shown once again is that the virtual two-Party system has succeeded in dulling the brains of sycophants to bend to the wishes of hero-leaders and see no wrong in their annointed ones. We need to blow that stupid-making system into more pieces so people can think again!

  13. You seem to share a characteristic of an extremist. You have the same "you're either with us or against us" approach to discussions. Your threat to accept your view of who people are and how things work is unappealing. You, me, someone else may have a different view as to who the 'extremists' are and who the 'real environmentalists' are.

  14. If you can't see that extremists have hijacked the environmental movement, you aren't paying attention, or you're one of the extremists. Real environmentalists would be castigating the extremists using their cause for nefarious ends, not embracing them and their policy proposals while they undermine your efforts.

  17. Stop all Transfer Payments to Quebec . . . . if, for example, Alberta refused to submit monies/taxes that would be going to Quebec, what can Ottawa do? Stop money to Ottawa and they are powerless. Ottawa kick Alberta out of Confederation . . .so what, who cares! No matter how many times you scrape your shoe, the stench of Quebec lingers . . . .

  20. Harper knew what he was doing. Trudeau clearly does not. Harper ran a low-key, businesslike government. Trudeau is a virtue signalling narcissistic who is never happier than when preening for the cameras. Harper never pretended to be anything other than he is. Everything about Trudeau is fraudulent. He has been acting since day one, putting on a show, pretending to be what he isn't in order to please the clueless progressive set. And as the revelations come out the best you can do is whine about how Harper was a meanie. But everything he's accused of, Trudeau is guilty of, and at least, as I said, Harper was competent.

  22. Are you calling May intelligent? Her only goal for Canada is to get rid of everything that she thinks pollutes the environment and causes climate change. There goes your car, your home, and your way of life. If she ever gets her way we could all be living and going back to the 18th century. The woman is a stupid woman. If all she thinks about is the environment, there will be no more growth and many jobs eliminated. Her Green new deal for Canada will destroy our way of life and cost the taxpayer's hundreds of billions of their tax dollars to remake Canada in her own image. All this stupid communist woman talks about every day is the environment. Everything else does not matter to her. With her, humans do not matter. It's all about the trees, the animals and the rivers. We all live better thanks to fossil fuels and it has helped bring us out of the woods and to living in homes and being able to get around in cars or other transportation. All environmentalists and most native Indian tribes are totally against progress and wealth for Canada or Canadians. Even the fool says that she wants open borders, and says, let everyone walk right on into Canada from around the world, no questions asked. But, by letting in tens of millions more new people to enter Canada which will happen would mean only more damage to her precious endangered environment that she wants to preserve so much. The woman is crazy in the head. But what else can one expect from someone who thinks trees are more important than people. A vote for May is a vote for turning back the clock. If she believes so much that life would be better for us all by all of us living in the bush than why does she not practice what she preaches. Go live in the bush and try to show us how great it would be. I bet that she will not give up the things that she says causes climate and environmental damage to her precious environment. These socialist, communists, environmentalists and pro massive immigration pushers are the ones that are really destroying Canada today. It's not the people who do not want to live her lifestyle. I hope Bernier wins with a majority.

  25. It's actually in the guidelines, along with "don't be a troll", and "don't insult other posters": "Research Your Post: If you are stating a fact, be prepared to back it up with some official sources (website links etc).....Therefore, it is in your best interest to make sure that your post includes sufficient sources and contains a well-researched and well-organized argument" Anecdotal stuff generally holds more emotional weight for people than facts, just the way humans are. I live in Surrey BC and some people who live here believe Surrey has the highest gun crime in Canads, but it's actually way down the list, 60th according to Macleans. Marcus's link provides an analysis of several claimed Muslim no-go zones, by someone who lives in London. Some of the claimed no-go zones include financial districts, malls, airports and the Tower of London. Data of comings and goings via public transport show 10s of millions of people entering and leaving these "no-go zones". Cameras in these areas also show a diversity of people. The origin of these claims, when traced back, originates from far right sources.
