These people are answering their own question as to why women often don't come forward, especially in cases like this where there is no conclusive evidence. They will stop at nothing to drag the women through the mud, call them liars based on nothing (like how many doors are on her house WTF?), call in death threats, and do whatever they can to try and make them regret ever telling the truth. The worst parts of humanity. Right here in this thread.2 points

The left don't understand pride or honour, that's why they don't understand Judge Kavanaugh's outrage. He has worked 40 years and earned the A++ reputation he has, and the POS's on the left write it off as white entitlement. I'd be furious too.2 points

Are you an American? You seem to be very emotionally invested in this topic.1 point

I'm a Canadian - so I don't have an emotional investment in this debacle - only an almost humorous interest in the sordid Trump and anti-Trump politics that play out through the various partisan factors. In a detached fashion, I can see a personally abhorrent - but surprisingly effective President - fighting a spoiled, arrogant, rudderless group of so-called Democrats. Again - in a detached fashion, what I see is the media and democrats expending a huge amount of effort (and money) to track down any and all evidence of anything even slightly dubious in Kavanaugh's statements or his background - and yet next to zero effort to bring to light the lack of corroboration in Ford's testimony. You can bet that Democrats and the media have searched high and low to find somebody, anybody, anything that could help corroborate her story. Yet there's nothing - and as the story unfolds, several of her statements that helped yo weave the story, are unraveling. As for Kavanaugh's temperament - how would you react if your career, family life and integrity were being ruined by something that wasn't true? I'm a pretty calm guy - but I couldn't just be cool about it - unless I was guilty.1 point

I see leftists are getting their daily dose of outrage. All is well...1 point

Why not punch some politicians? It's not citizens running the military. Maybe a few punched faces would get the message across.1 point

And now we know the answer as to why she took a polygraph, it was because she (as a psychologist) knew she could manipulate it.1 point

Yes, I figured you couldn't answer. You're more attack dog than evil strategist.1 point

Folks might've missed this breaking news, so I'll re-post it here. Christine Blasey Ford ex-boyfriend says she helped friend prep for potential polygraph; Grassley sounds alarm https://www.foxnews.com/politics/christine-blasey-ford-ex-boyfriend-says-she-helped-friend-prep-for-potential-polygraph-grassley-sounds-alarm She never voiced any fear of flying! And, what claustrophobia needing 2 -door bulls###? She had no problems living in a "very small," 500 sq. ft. apartment with one door!"1 point

One thing I think proponents of 'Canadian-content' laws overlook is how it can harm unofficial language communities. For example, English and French Canadians are populous enough in Canada to exploit at least sufficient economies of scale within a protectionist environment. This protectionism hurts the Deaf community. For example, it could make it far more difficult for Canadian ASL speakers and US ASL speakers to collaborate to establish a common North American ASL broadcasting business for example due to Canadian-content laws preventing Canadian Deaf from collaborating with their US counterparts to exploit economies of scale. I think they use ASL in Liberia too. These same Canadian-content laws prevent US and Canadian Ojibwa and Greenlandic and Canadian Inuit from doing the same. It undermines their ability to cooperate internationally to benefit from economies of scale. The same applies to Chinese and other language media too. When we look at its history within the context of the Report of the Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism, the primary purpose of Canadian-content laws was always to give Canada's English and French language communities an advantage over the others within Canada.1 point

No need Michael - here's everything you'll need. Can we expect an apology from you? Then again, what am I thinking! Here's the original questions from the Democrat - where Kavanaugh is rightly scratching his head trying to figure out where the "Gotchya" will come from.... https://globalnews.ca/video/4430586/kavanaugh-asked-if-he-discussed-russia-probe-with-anyone-from-trumps-lawyers-firm Here's the follow up question that allows Kavanaugh to fully clarify his answer - clear as a big, fat bell. https://globalnews.ca/video/4430909/kavanaugh-says-he-does-not-recall-conversations-about-mueller-at-trumps-lawyers-law-firm .....and here's the legal firm in question - "corroborating" everything Kavanaugh said. Give your torch and pitchfork a rest Michael. Trump lawyer Marc Kasowitz denies Kavanaugh ever spoke to anyone at the firm about Mueller probe, contradicting Sen. Kamala Harris claim "There have been no discussions regarding Robert Mueller's investigation between Judge Kavanaugh and anyone at our firm," a spokesman for Marc Kasowitz said in a statement first provided to CNBC on Thursday. Kasowitz, a personal attorney for President Donald Trump, threw cold water on Sen. Kamala Harris' questioning of Brett Kavanaugh, denying he had any contact with his firm, Kasowitz Benson Torres. Harris had grilled Kavanaugh on Wednesday about whether he had any contact with members of Kasowitz's firm regarding Mueller's special counsel investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russian operatives during the 2016 presidential election. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/06/marc-kasowitz-denies-kavanaugh-ever-spoke-to-anyone-at-his-firm.html1 point

Democrats don't believe her story...https://www.foxnews.com/politics/lawyer-who-cleared-ellison-of-domestic-abuse-allegations-is-partner-at-firm-that-donated-500g-to-dems and there's Cory Booker the Senator who admitted to groping a high school friend after he kissed her, says it doesn't matter if Judge Kavanaugh is innocent or guilty. Up until now, I thought that some of Trump's anti-media rhetoric was exaggerated and some hyperbole. However, the media's handling of the Kavanaugh story has vindicated much of what Trump has said about them. Rex Murphy gets it https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-the-most-obvious-creeps-in-the-kavanaugh-circus-are-the-journalists1 point

Supreme Court justices don’t vote on impeachment. Maybe some of you shouldn’t be commenting on processes you know literally nothing about. Kavanaugh is a Bush appointee to the federal courts. He is a standard/traditional conservative/Republican type judge. He has almost nothing to do with Trump world. Stop the nonsense already. This is another case of fake news.1 point

One can only hope that the federal liberal and conservative party's both get bombed by Maxine Bernier in the next federal election. It is time for those two anti-Canadian political party's to go away. Both those party's have not said or done a bloody thing about all those illegal refugee criminals from entering Canada illegally. They have allowed Canada to be made to appear to be a weak and gutless country by not trying to stop all this criminality being committed by illegal refugees to go on and on with no end in site. It needs to stop now.1 point

It may sound harsh to those on the left, but immigration policy should first and foremost be designed to benefit the country as a whole. It should not be used as a tool for getting votes to remain in power which is what is happening now.Immigration levels should be tied to the strength of our economy as well, strong economy, more people, weak economy, bring in less.Pierre Trudeau surprisingly did this back in his day.Being able to immigrate to Canada has pretty much become a right and not a privilege as it once was. A real screening process would be most welcome too. The Khadr family anyone?1 point

Interesting but everything you said above is word for word the same doctrine Putin has been spewing long before Donald showed up. In fact your last sentence comes from words Putin used to defend going into Syria, Georgia and Ukraine. Listen the use of Trump as your sphincter muscle doesn't fool me. I know the smell of Putinskyite methane anywhere. It's all those rotted potatoes. Come on comrade Trump as your vehicle to present Putinities? Really boychik trying to kiss people when you got all those cold sores just makes no sense. Ah you guys are something revising cold war tactics. Later Boris. Tell Natasha she put on weight and needs electrolysis.1 point
