  2. There's a price to pay for being the world police, which USA has done up till now. They have born the brunt of it, making the world safe for us. Over the years they've paid the price, in both blood and treasure. Just like with the police, you have a group of guys doing a tough job in a hostile environment, surrounded by violent types on all sides. Their job is not easy, and there will always be those who criticize them, call them evil, because they didn't get a big enough slice of the pie for themselves.

  4. shit, almost forgot.....it's crazy tuesday , this is where the crazies are allowed to come out of moms basement or what ever ward they are in and blame the entire afghanistan conflict on the US....Russia was not even there, the government shredded the evidence ......but once they are pressed about our syrian friends.....they go on about how bad the US is.....like yelling squirrel, to distract us into another direction.... because that is there only goto really..I know sad really.......but what i was talking about was our country.....CANADA, in case you missed it i'll spell it out again ....CANADA.....and how we decide on our immigration policies and rules.....years before we had Afghan nationals serving Canada as translators, most were denied entry into Canada.....and yet any syrian and his dog can get into Canada without as much as a simple back ground check, or military service to Canada. Good thing crazy tuesday ends at 8 pm.....

  5. This is not true. A large portion of it deals with kafirs and how to treat them. How to get non-Muslims to submit to Islamic preferences. Thus, demands for prayer rooms and time for prayers at workplaces and school, demands for sexually segregated times for everything, demands to wear burkas at inappropriate times, etc. This is Sharia law implemented. When Trudeau visited the mosque and demanded that women MPs cover up and use the side entrance - Sharia law implemented.

  7. As we have seen with Europe, once a certain percentage of the population is reached... "Muslims demand X" ...becomes the common phrase heard throughout the land.

  8. Another one finished in time for the season. Now I only have one left to do and it'll be time to look for another project. It's a 1981 Kawasaki KX125 A-7. I love vintage dirt bikes!

  9. Or maybe, just maybe, he was just a kid in a car doing stupid stuff. There's no need to overthink every thing that happens. Kids do stupid stuff all the time. Put them behind the wheel of a car and the stupid concentration rises dramatically in many of them.

  11. Doesn't matter. All they have to know how to do is say "Welcome to Canada!" in both official languages. Well, and have breasts, of course.

  12. They most definitely and provably are. Occupying part of Ukraine does not mean occupying all of it. And the US is not in charge of anything in Ukraine. That's just conspiracy theory looniness and raging marxist paranoia combined You didn't answer the question about where you came from. I'm pretty sure it wasn't here.

  13. "Xenophobia" as a bad word...like "racism"...is thrown about so much it has lost all meaning. People who use it often never seem to understand where it came from...Ancient Greece. Any idea why Ancient Greeks might distrust and fear* Ancient Persians...? Any idea why Alexander vowed to bring the Persians to their knees? Any at all? *Distrust and fear...the dictionary definition.

  15. You accused Argus of xenophobia. Then when called out on it and said your comment is about as relevant as me calling you a sexual fascist for defending Muslim extremism your come back is I am off my meds? Atta boy Omni. it never fails that you trendy leftists who come on the board to pose as tolerant revert to your true colours-intolerant bigots full of labels of others you don't agree with. Lol. Thanks for the two examples of tolerance.

  16. Does anyone else find it curious that for 3 months Comey didn't see it necessary to investigate Trump for obstruction, then they day after he's fired, he is so convinced that an inquiry into obstruction needed to be done that he leaks documents to the press in an effort to force an independant investigation?

  17. You don't have to buy it, but the evidence says otherwise, and has been more obvious as the "new media" competed with and exposed the purposeful "mistakes" by legacy news media. The New York Times had the infamous Jason Blair scandal almost 15 years ago. CBS News was complicit in a forged documents scandal against George W. Bush in 2004; Dan Rather disgraced his storied career over it. Several American news anchors and reporters have reported complete falsehoods or embellished stories to the point of lying (e.g. Brian Williams) News International in the U.K had a sordid phone hacking scandal which resulted in the demise of several media outlets. These deliberate actions and many others like it go far beyond the odd article with a "mistake" or "error".

  18. News reporters formerly believed in journalistic accountability, you didn't post a story based on pure hearsay from anonymous sources. To be fair a story should give complete information, not soundbites or statements given without full context. That is media manipulation. It's long been known that the media is a powerful propaganda tool. What's happened incrementally is that information became a valuable commodity. There's big money in it. However we've now reached the point where the lines between news and entertainment are blurred. Again I am only discussing political news. Call me cynical if you wish, but I never trust what the leader says, cause when the leader speaks, the leader lies.

  22. Yes, i.e., http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/29/progressive-muslims-launch-gay-friendly-women-led-mosques_n_1368460.html Would they be mainstream? Of course not. The progressive MUSLIMS in Canada that are feminist or gay that I know can be threatened with their lives by fellow Muslims yes. You'd have to ask them but that is why I support them and am loath to stereotype them as part of other Muslims who want them killed. Is it Islamophobic to say there are extremist fundamentalist and conservative Muslims that are the mainstream no. Is it Islamophobic to say these extremists and fundamentalists want to impose fascist Sharia law, no. Just don't ask me to turn my back on modern progressive Muslims who are trying to challenge them. I am a classic Reform Jew in that sense we feel we have to turn to progressives in other religions and form alliances if we are all to survive and evolve past these terrorists and extremists. I believe that because the holocaust showed me how gentiles turned their back on Jews and how many assisted kill Jews, but it also has stories of gentiles dying to save Jews and hiding them, etc. For the sake of those righteous gentiles, I can not and should not write off an entire Christian people. How can I? That would ignore the righteous who died. In Israel they remember the righteous gentiles, Muslim, Christian, etc. That is the reason I won't write off an entire people.. Doesn't mean I apologize for Islamic extremism. It does mean I remember and pay homage to Muslims who donated land to Jews fleeing the holocaust and fought in the Israeli Army and were some of its best and bravest soldiers. I do not mean to be preach but I think its possible to challenge with all our might Muslim terrorism without writing off all Muslims as bad people. I am not under-estimating the wide-spread extremist in Islamic societies and the challenges ahead. I don't think we should understate religious terrorism or fail to identify it as Muslim terrorism but its important as well to distinguish the innocent from the guilty. Simply hating a Muslim because others of their religion are terrorist to me is illogical. Its tempting to do when one is angry and reacting to immediate painful violence, yes.
