Know as "the law of unintended consequences". http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/UnintendedConsequences.html No doubt M103 will become a tool for Human Rights Commissions.4 points

Sort of like in Muslim countries where everyone brings their kids out to watch the big beheading! It's so exciting, most of them video it on their phones for later viewing. No, thanks.3 points

Indians, apparently. Followed by Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran. No doubt this will be a shock to the left, which would probably put the list as something like this: United States United Kingdom Canada Australia France But it turns out western countries are a lot less racist than most of the third world, particularly than most of the Muslim world. The daily Mail even has it laid out in a map, showing where racism is strongest and weakest. It's weakest in the United States, Canada, and most European and South American countries. Strongest in Africa and the Muslim world. What a shocker, eh, lefties! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2325502/Map-shows-worlds-racist-countries-answers-surprise-you.html2 points

So you're a paragon of virtue as far as political posturing goes, have I got that right - or left? But... but... when dre talks with great delight about having all the conservatives violently KILLED and how he'd eat popcorn and laugh, that's not something which calls for any sort of protest on your part, right? The truth is you're as much an ideological zealot of the far Left as he is.2 points

You believe that watching people slaughter each other would be fun. There really is nothing I can say that would adequately display the depth of disgust I feel about your idea of fun.2 points

http://www.chrt-tcdp.gc.ca/procedures/rules-of-procedure-en.html I would argue that the above provision of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal would recognize M103 as admissible within the context of the above mentioned book of authorities.2 points

These Imam's will continue to preach their hate until someone steps up and decides to bring charges, but they will not do that regardless of the evidence presented......because this is Canada and we do not want to seem like we are racist or even bais again'st Islam.......Muslims preach they are being targeted by Canadians in a racist manner....they demand that Islam is a religion of peace , they demand that the majority of muslims are peaceful , moderate,......where are these moderates when Imams in Canada are preaching islam death to jews and others, WHO is attending these pray meetings, Muslims are.............where are the moderates when their religion is being perverted for other reasons by other muslims.....I'll tell you where they are ....no where, they are not seen or heard, or listened to.......in fact they don't even make a difference.....they never have.....It is time to draw a line in the sand.....either it is alright to preach hate and demand death to everyone we dislike.......or it is not and someone steps up and enforces the law....until then the sensitive muslims out there should hold on it's going to be a rough ride, ...........or perhaps we could set the example and put these Imam's on a plane back to their own countries where they can preach hatred freely, when ever they want, lets ship back all that attend their sermons as well......2 points

I'm pretty sure pointing out the US government also did 9/11 will eject you faster.2 points

I am not being mislead ....are you saying Turkish military have not engaged ISIS or other muslim in this conflict, I have video of turkish tanks being blown up by isis fighters....Ohh i get it ISIS is not muslim according to you.....well they say they are.... right now there is 136 conflicts around the world right now, the US is involved in some of them.....not just in the middle east....last time i checked your country has suffered from a coup, plus their has been terrorist attacks by the kurds.....or is this all false news as well..... A muslim union will not happen, to much in fighting among'st themselves......Turkey is better off with NATO....you guys can not help your own countries let alone band together and help each other......that being said i wish you would band together and start to control the fringe or extremist muslims.2 points

Complete nonsense of course.... al-Qaeda attacks were very much heard of prior to 9/11/2001: 1992 - Yemen Hotel bombings 1993 - WTC truck bomb (New York) 1998 - U.S. embassy bombings (Kenya, Tanzania) 2000 - U.S. warship bombing(s)2 points

Nah. Just in the terrorism database site I've been sorting through since last weekend. But one year isn't a trend, unfortunately.2 points

Soft Jihad, is a non-violent alternative to the kind of jihad that we know. Another name for it is "Stealth Jihad." It infiltrates, and make itself seem to be a progressive or a liberal....but its objective is just the same as the objectives of the violent jihad. We know that ISIS had wanted to form a caliphate. Its objective is to have a one-world government where-in the whole world will live under Islam. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worldwide_caliphate Stealth Jihad tries to soften the image of Islam....to make it palatable. We see some of the progression it's made into our society as we speak: http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=815 Segregation of males and females ring a bell? Why are some places a no-go zones for women? Soft Jihad tries to compare itself with Christianity - some even go as far as making it similar to Christianity. They have to, if they're going to go into nations that are predominantly Christians. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=815 The examples above are numerous - it's an interesting read. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/jul/30/how-soft-jihad-worms-its-way-here/1 point

There is no such effort. It's a figment of your imagination. In fact, the extreme right is more likely to side with Muslims simply because, like them, the Muslim world hates Jews too.1 point
-
Great idea....once again it's the conservatives that have to do all the lifting.....because the other parties have their heads stuck up their asses, and can't be bothered to face reality, and when they do, they chose to ignore it....the reality part is we have Imams in canada that sole purpose in life is to preach hate , and somehow are immune to prosecution....OK break is over get that head back in your ass.....1 point

F**k hate speech laws: we already have laws for those that threaten murder. Muslims use the HRCs as a bludgeon against critics...need we go into the details? Ezra and Mark are just two examples...1 point

Don't be surprised to see soft jihadi using lies....and disinformation. http://muslimfact.com/bm/terror-in-the-name-of-islam/islam-permits-lying-to-deceive-unbelievers-and-bri.shtml1 point

Seeing your Imams are preaching the murder of all Jews right from mosques in Canada...perhaps they ARE needed. I'm unaware of Christians and Jews asking to murder all the Muslims. But you have an example...right? Muslims use the HRCs as a bludgeon against critics. They being eternal victims, after-all.1 point

In other words your statement is meaningless, without any form of proof. Thanks for playing.1 point

LOL Lots of countries still take it seriously. Even countries whose heads of state are less "constitutional monarchies" with "authority on a leash" (so to speak) and more so "crowned republics". (Canada is more so the latter because the GG is more or less a prime ministerial-appointee rather than an independent "choice" of the Queen.) So what, though? No Canadian taxes have to support the Canadian monarchy since UK taxes do. And the royal family gives out a ton of cash to this and that. Maybe the Central African "emperor" was kind of paying himself quite a bit more than the Queen gets. Maybe he was giving out free Bentleys to his friends at the ceremony or something.1 point

I think the map shows that hating and fearing other "different" people is universal, and also that education may be a key to reducing it.1 point

I don't know what the U.S. has. but you are correct in saying freedom of speech in Canada is not unlimited. You don't have it in a situation which is likely to cause a riot or libel or slander an individual. But there is nothing in the law about fair criticism of an ideology or religion.1 point
-
No it doesn't. It pretends to. But section 2 is limited by section 1 and as a result we do not have true freedom of expression in Canada like the fortunate citizens of the USA have.1 point

There is nothing to worry about if Russia simply takes the Canadian land up there. Canada will get Foreign Minister Freeland to draft a strongly worded memo to Russia asking nicely if they would stop. If they refuse, she will cry. Then they'll have to go home.1 point

Please back to the main topic subject. Its about ripping a religious book and its effects. According to Canada Laws, its a crime. Because ripping a religious book is just an act of hatred and suppressed violence. According to Canada Criminal Codes; Public incitement of hatred 319 (1) Every one who, by communicating statements in any public place, incites hatred against any identifiable group where such incitement is likely to lead to a breach of the peace is guilty of (a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or (b) an offence punishable on summary conviction. http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/C-46/page-72.html#h-931 point

Russia is not a Muslim country. So my point was your "Muslims are also killing Muslims" claim. This is a disgusting attempt to justify Western murders. So you cant get rid of the responsiblity telling "we did nothing but terrorists did". You are supporting the terrorists. You remind me a US commander who made a press conference yesterday and said "ISIS is also killing civlians" and all the journalists was shocked at his words while he was trying to defend bombing a school recently in Syria which was full of civilians. Rest of your post have nothing with this topic and my question, we have discussed these things many times in different topics. If you want to discuss, start another topic.1 point

I just read your post until this point and I want to ask a question, a simple question; They are not Muslims but I will call them as Muslims for a minute because you non-Muslims are calling anyone as Muslims those who self claim of being Muslims despite they complately act un-Islamic, anyway. My question is; If the Western countries would not support Bashar Assad, could he murder 500.000 civilians in last a few years ?1 point

All you Christians, all you who seek to save Muslims from their "evil" ways, all you warm, loving, kind, benevolent westerners, I give you - your go to leader.1 point

And all the kind folks, the Christians, the loving westerners, who seek to help bring the Muslims "out of their ignorance" sit silent.1 point

Why would I read a book described as "racism as criticism" whose "hyperventilated rhetoric tips from actual critique into Islamophobia" merely because you claim its fair? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Bawer1 point

It appears there is a case of selective blindness at work here, maybe more than one. So Canada is backwards because of our legal provisions governing marriage, but Turkey is highly advanced. Far more so than Canada. So, how would the poster rationalize this? I'd say it's a stereotypical case of Sharia and Islam in general at work but I'm sure our illustrious poster will attempt to minimize or justify it, whilst simultaneously preaching about the backwards evils of Canada and the west in general.1 point

Betsy, if you go back a number of posts you will see all manner of comment that is not at all about what you mistakenly suggest the topic is about. This is typical of conservatives; they think that if one yells and screams the propaganda long enough, it will take. And take it does among non-thinking right wingers - hence Trump.1 point

The Quran is clear that the righteous go to Paradise...men and women. Not to be confused with entering Paradise as a Jihadi where ones sins are washed away for dying fighting for Allah's sake. (9:111) And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed. (4:124) What makes a woman 'righteous' in Islam is what is up for grabs. If a woman prayed the five daily prayers, fasted the month of Ramadan, maintained her chastity and obeyed her husband, it would be said to her, 'Enter Paradise from whatever gate you like.' ---Mohammad However...the influence of the Unbeliever is to be shunned if one wants Paradise as the Final Destination. Women's Rights...etc. Oh...and no leaving Islam allowed. They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah . But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper. (4:89) As well, a woman's place is next to her husband. If he's a sinner and destined for Hellfire...guess what? That's right... Mohammad also said: “There will be no unmarried person in Paradise.” Take the above as given...I suppose. The Hadiths are full of Big Mo's sayings on the conditions of females entering paradise...usually in relation to the status of marriage...or lack there-of. “If a woman died before marrying in this world, Allah The Almighty will provide her with a husband who will delight her heart. Bliss in Paradise is equally for men and women, and it certainly includes marriage.” It goes on....1 point

I tried to find a story about that but was unsuccessful. Can you provide a cite? Thanks.1 point

Two hundred killed by whom? A not-so-smart smart bomb? Probably dropped by a poorly trained "Coalition Member" rather than the USA...but let's blame the USA. Well...200 is a lot. Making bomb shelters for civilians isn't a high priority for ISIS. Using them as human shields, however, is...apparently. You must be livid that the civilian death toll via means other than the USA has surpassed 400,000. As for alter-egos...I suppose you're forced to depict me as various negative things as I'd vanquish you in any honest debate about Islam.1 point

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I feel the same as you with the exception that I don't think that discussing what's going on in Islam right now means that we are all completely unaware or agree with things the West has done. I just feel it should be discussed as its own topic and not used to distract from or justify Islamic terrorism, which is what H. E. does. He's been invited quite a few times to start a topic on it, but chooses instead to keep popping it into unrelated discussions like some kind of rabid whack-a-mole. I hope this makes sense, as I apparently have a very poor grasp of the English language.1 point

The area is full of government workers. Yes he wanted to attack parliament, not tourist near parliament, there are way better places in London to kill tourist.1 point

No, it doesn't because his intent was to hit government, civilians just got in the way.1 point

Killing civilians wasn't the main goal, but they were killed along the way intentionally. So still classifies as terrorism.1 point

Pressing a button and dropping a missile, knowing innocent people could die, is not an accident. End result: Innocent people are dead. End result: People have lost family members. End result: Someone will be blamed for it. End result: Someone will want revenge for the deaths. 41 men targeted but 1,147 people killed: US drone strikes – the facts on the ground Go ahead. Tell yourself it's just an accident. Tell yourself that these incidents in Europe are not 'blowback' for our policies. Keep trying to convince yourself that this is all about religion.1 point

It shows nothing of the sort. I asked you to entertain a hypothetical and you don't possess the honesty needed to do that. You don't care who started it, and you think I am showing compassion for the killers. What weird logic is that?1 point

We don't know this guy. However, I suspect that he might have connections with another part of the world where the West's policies has created a sense of resentment and has allowed for him to become a tool.1 point
