  1. Yes, made by a Lebanese immigrant.

  2. As expected, the nonsense fake news story from Canada's state broadcaster (CBC) about President-Elect Trump's election victory crashing Canada's immigration web site is crashing on its own. Why did the CBC run with the fake news story ?

  3. I'm asking this question because it is not in the guide lines to the forum, and i have asked 2 out 3 mods and the explanation given does not make any sense ""This is what the mods have told me so far......I was told they "warnings" don't mean crap, they will not be used again'st you later for any reason by one mod,and the other did not say anything constructive at all..... So if they don't mean anything....why have them , why place a numerical value on them, why make them permanent, why have them glaring up at you in your profile page...as if to warn you on a daily basis that hey your one bad dude.....and should tread lightly ..... Does anyone know, or is this topic off limits for some reason.....anyone else having warning point issues, i'd like to hear about them.....

  5. Guy arrested for calling in bomb threats against Muslims at Concordia turns out to be Lebanese immigrant. I'm sure the progressives are relieved there was no 'conservative citizens' group out there.

  9. I disagree. https://www.politicalislam.com/prayers-for-kafirs/ They may seem innocuous but when a person repeats every day to avoid kafirs, not make them friends, and prays for the death and punishment of kafirs, how can this NOT affect how they deal with us? As just this one article points out, over half the Quran is dedicated to rules for dealing with kafirs. It only makes sense that the prayers would also talk about us. And in both the Quran and the prayers, references to kafirs are negative. Feeding your mind a daily dose of hate for others is never a good thing.

  11. Any palestinian problem (IMO there is no such thing as a palestine) is caused by their so called arab brothers. Has it ever crossed your mind why their fellow brothers would not lift a finger to help them out, but instead uses them as a pawn in their constant war with jewish people?

  13. It's a good attention seeking thread topic though. Something you would see on Breitbart or a comment made by Trump. Who cares if it vilifies a whole group of people. Just make sure to use that against migrants or Muslims only. Be sure to not use your stereotyping and brush strokes against other groups, cultures and religions, because then, you know, it would be wrong.

  22. Xenophobia is the continued whinge of the far left, few of whom have ever or will ever pay taxes. The refugees already in Canada cost us billions every year since few have any language or job skills. Where they do find work, it's usually manual labour, very low skilled and low paying, which means it's up to the dwindling number of taxpayers to support their non-working wives and kids. It's up to taxpayers like me to pay for their kids education, to pay for their family's health care, to help put food in their mouths and a roof over their heads. Meanwhile the welfare lifers from the Left suck on the taxpayer teat while voting in progressives like Trudeau who promise not to care about big budget deficits.

  23. The skin colour of the illegal line jumpers is not the issue. Neither is their culture. They do what they do because they are poor. They jump the lines ahead of refugees and immigrants because they know they won't qualify under the rules of those two streams of acceptance and eligibility. They break the laws and jump the lines because our government rewards them for doing so. I have said all I will say in the other thread but this issue is not going away and it has nothing o do with the culture or skin colour of the illegals it has to do with understanding if you allow and reward ANYONE to break the very laws you expect others to follow, you create chaos and anarchy which is what we have on our borders.

  24. In fact, I started a thread about it when Trudeau made his stupid little tweet. I saw instantly what Trudeau was too ignorant to understand, that he was throwing out a welcome mat for anyone who wanted to come to Canada for whatever reason they wanted to come here. "Diversity is our strength! Welcome to Canada!" Andrew Coyne is one of those open border advocates who wants to grow our population to one hundred million people. Yet even he acknowledges what is going to happen once the snow melts. A crisis is coming: If this many cross the U.S. border in February, how many will come by June? The solution of the Left, of course, is as simple minded as their leader. Embrace whoever comes. Let them all in. Get rid of the safe third country rule. If a million refugees cross the border, rejoice in our inclusiveness and diversity and just raise taxes higher to pay for them all. Who cares what that means as far as safety, crime, terrorism, massive poverty, whatever. By letting everyone in we can show the world how tolerant we are! And nothing is more important than that! Yes, I mock, but I have no doubt whatever that this is exactly how progressives think.

  25. Trump should offer free bus service to the Canadian border....give each illegal $100 to spend in Canada and never come back.

  26. It is Justin's rolling-out of the welcome mat that could produce this mass movement of illegal immigrants. I know what I would be doing as soon as it gets warmer and Trump's new army of immigration agents gets to work...

  27. Millions...not an exaggeration. Very long...undefended as we like to say...border. It's going to be a LONG Summer. We could well be swamped with more illegal immigrants than Europe.

  28. As I understand it, if they arrive at a border crossing, they WILL be turned back. However, if one can just cross over into Canada and declare one's self a refugee...howdy new neighbour. It's not a good situation. There are millions.

  29. What Canada should have been doing years ago to prevent this deteriorating state of affairs was to tell the US to clean up its act and stop behaving so belligerently itself around the world - instead of preventing a friend from driving drunk we've encouraged them. We should have been thinking along Sweden's lines for the same reason - we're next door to a swaggering unstable asshole.

  30. In spite of Trumps bafoonery especially during the last two weeks, its eventually going to die down. His posing will burn out and the mundane day to day functions will kick in and bore him to death. I for one am hoping the people he has hired will prevent him from doing stupid things and by default their foreign policy can't be any worse. We have no more apologizing for the Muslim brotherhood, Iran, Saudi Arabia in the days to come if they support terrorists. That is for sure. What also is for real is a coming economic war with China, Mexico possibly South Korea and Japan. We shall see.

  34. We know you are afraid of Trudeau, not by what he says and does, but by your own prejudices. Mr. Speaker, the Minister of Immigration along with the Minister of Public Safety are very concerned about the situation in Emerson. Indeed, we need to make sure that we are protecting the integrity of the Canadian border and the strength of our immigration and refugee system, and demonstrating that we are there for the security of communities and individuals. Canada will always be welcoming to vulnerable people. We need to make sure that we are doing it the right way to protect them and to protect our country.

  35. That's excellent news. 25% of Canadians agree with Trump-style immigrant policies and the sooner we can dilute that number with new-stock Canadians the sooner the old-stock dingbats will fade to even less significance.

  36. I've no doubt they would have come even without that tweet. Not like Canada isn't known for our welcoming attitude. The solution of the Right, of course, is a simple-minded ideology of xenophobia. Hate whoever comes who isn't just like us. Don't let anyone in who has a different culture, language or belief. Who cares if those people are suffering, or even if they share our values and hopes and dreams. Who cares what that means as far as population growth and our economy! By remaining afraid of the bogeyman (aka non-white immigrant) we won't have to deal with anything that's a little bit different and scary! And nothing is more important than that. I mock, but it is completely true.

  41. An asylum seeker can also fall under the classification of migrant - the difference being he's compelled to leave his home. I suppose this thread is about rape and other crimes committed by refugees and migrants. I don't think I'm allowed to create another thread about crimes by migrants/refugees - it will likely get merged with this.

    -1 points
  48. The Democrats didn't repeatedly meet with Russia during the campaign and they didn't lie about it. The Democrats also obviously weren't the beneficiaries of Russian hacking. Your deflection tactics don't work. It's getting less and less reasonably deniable that Trump's campaign committed treason.
    -1 points
  49. You need to move on from Hillary. It's over. Colluding with a foreign government to influence the election is treason. It was obvious they were doing that from the moment in the debate where Trump denied Russia's involvement in the hacking. It's more obvious now as they get caught in their lies.
