  1. Sorry, but I criticize all religions, including Islam. I criticize the immoral practices of people, including Muslims. What I don't do is lump 1.7 billion people into the same barrel and deny them their right because a small subset of a group they share a religion with commit immoral crimes. I don't deny Christians their rights either because of the many immoral acts committed by other Christians. It sounds like you are the one who is infuriated by the repeated and insistent illogical angry arguments you make, without once listening to what others are really saying.

  2. Surprised there isn't much discussion about this as it's a classic left vs right, capitalist vs socialist debate. Here is the video FYI it's a long one... imo Bernie sanders had a long night...

  3. Countries always communicates and warns each other like wild animals. They attack each other to show others what they want. At the beginning its not easy to conceive their special language but I am trying to understand and I will teach you too. If you learn the countries' aims first, it will be much more easy to learn their language. Here we go with the first and recent communication of them. Yesterday new US intelligence chief visited Turkiye and the same day Russian planes shot Turkish positions in Syria "by mistake". So here the message was from Russians to Turks. Russians said that "Please dont get closer with Americans about Syrian issue. Grrrrrrrr".

  4. In his column today Terence Corcoran lists the tens of billions in 'green energy' projects undertaken by the provinces from coast to coast, projects which are putting the finances of the provinces in danger and will loom over their economies for decades to come. Now that Trudeau has required 'green energy' reduction across the country we can expect more massively expensive boondogles like these. ...An $8.8-billion dam known as the Site C Clean Energy Project in northeastern B.C. has been described as a “white elephant” by a former hydro executive. ... A report last year from The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) warned that Manitoba Hydro’s debt could double to $23 billion by 2023, propelling the provincial debt/GDP ratio to 65 per cent. If interest costs rise, Manitoba could become “a province with the highest debt per capita of any in Canada,” ... Under Ontario’s Green Energy Act, the Liberal government of Kathleen Wynne has saddled the province with escalating wind and solar electricity costs that will drain billions from industry and consumers. ...The cost of Muskrat Falls, a giant Labrador hydro project designed to ship “clean” and “cheap” hydro power overland and underwater to Newfoundland, is now said to be approaching $12 billion. Former premier Roger Grimes (whose predecessor, Danny Williams, pushed Muskrat) said recently the project “will haunt all of us, unfortunately, for the rest of my life, my daughter’s life, my granddaughter’s life even.” http://business.financialpost.com/fp-comment/terence-corcoran-now-up-to-50-billion-canadas-green-electricity-bailouts-make-the-bombardier-giveaway-look-like-peanuts

  6. Eh? Inviting everyone fleeing persecution, terror and war to come to Canada....you call that sane? With just 22 refugees coming to Manitba is called a crisis, and here he is inviting millions! He sounded like he was smoking too much pot when he tweeted that nonsense.

  7. Nothing to do with Trudeau. This has been in the works for years. You're being disingenuous about the reason for these expenditures... "blame Trudeau".

  9. This is a kind of frustration move. So when a disappointed person tells you that she/he is leaving you now, this means they actually dont want to leave you but they are also in need to be hugged by you and they are in need to be apologized. Anyone makes it at least one time in their life. Look I leave you, still wont you apologize ? dont you believe, I really leave you, hey I am gone, dont you care ? bye .................... uhh I forgot my phone on the armchair, now I am leaving.............really.................hey !!! .....

  11. Why delete a profile? Since all your posts remain, as stated by the administrator. All that is accomplished is that the person can no longer login. If you don't want to log in anymore, just don't visit the site. It's that simple really... self control. No need to ask the admins to do anything. Unless of course, this isn't about wanting your profile "deleted", which won't be done anyway, but rather some kind of grand-standing. Whining leftists seek a podium to declare they will self-immolate, but never actually follow through.

  12. It is the point, you suggested Trump "didn't like the F-35".......yet he just purchased more, and didn't purchase additional Super Hornets. Who cares? Trump just purchased more F-35s then there are Super Hornets in international service........likewise, within the last several years, there has now been 200 F-35s built, far more then Super Hornets within this decade.

  13. Your article is both dated and wrong.......Trump himself is calling the LRIP 10 F-35 contract a great achievement.........how many Super Hornets has the Trump administration ordered since taking office?

  14. Right but that was all already well along the way to moderating Christianity. Another few generations before that Christians were burning witches, and another few before that, Christians were converting heathens to their religion by the sword. Institutional Christianity reached the peak of its power probably around the 1600s and has been slowly declining for about 400 years to reach the relatively more benign state we now find it in.

  18. Well the long term way is the same as with Christianity. Over many generations living in stable prosperous countries where the benefits of science and reason and the in-applicability of ancient dogma to modern life are demonstrated every moment of every day, people slowly let go of their superstitions. But that's a centuries-long process, there is of course no "benign way" to "eliminate" any religion on a shorter time scale than centuries.

  19. Polled Americans would prefer to have Trudeau as their president. Trump still has to show his economic policies are something more than just placing a bunch of his billionaire buddies in positions where they can suck on the taxpayers teats and actually create some jobs. That is aside from those low paying jobs in Bangladesh making his shirts.

  28. I didn't post the graph but sure, most of those people are just there so that the locals don't have to do any real work, but if you leave those two out, the US is still #4.

  29. Trump defends Putin as the latter is being referred to as a killer, then claims America is also a killer, "not so innocent", and at the same time seems to ignore the fact he supported the Iraq war. How much more bizarre could one get? Maybe America should impeach Trump and then elect Alec Baldwin.

  30. Work farms apparently didn't make money. Work farms have been shut down. But they may come back. We do still have Cor-Can, though, which serves a similar purpose as the work farms, but are focused on manufacturing or construction instead of agriculture. The inmates are paid in these programs, although not much. But hey, in America under Trump there may be a lot more prison programs - if he progresses along the line of fascism he's started with, he's lining up lots of prisoners - and we know how Canada likes to follow the US's lead. Though I hope we wouldn't, in this case.

  31. No, it's well known that Putin has his political opponents killed. He has a guy in the hospital right now with, I believe, radiation poisoning. Trump would look like an idiot to deny this, but he's still not allowed to say anything bad (see pee tape). He probably should have gone your route and said he hasn't been convicted of anything, but I guess he's not as smart as you are. Instead, he questioned the seriousness of murder without a hint of sarcasm. You sure can pick em.

  32. No, he shouldn't be commended. There's nothing wrong in my view with being very careful who you accept and being selfish in doing so despite the talk of post nationalism by the progs, but there is no good reason to ban entire countries or though the back door, some religions.

  33. Save zones, while nice in theory, can be extremely problematic. For example, who maintains them? If its the U.S., that puts more U.S. troops on the ground in harms way and can drag the U.S. deeper into the war. If its the Syrians or Russians, how do you guarantee that they will truly remain 'safe'? If its some 3rd party from the area,(Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc.) how do you guarantee that the safe zone is not used for rebel activities (as some of those 3rd parties support the revels.) And maintaining safe zones can be expensive, and might take resources away from the fight against ISIS. http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/27/middleeast/trump-syria-safe-zone-explained/ Why exactly are you assuming Putin actually cares about the millions of displaced people? Russia supports Assad. Until now, the U.S. didn't. While the 2 countries are nominally both trying to defeat ISIS, both countries have radically different ideas of what the end result should be. I'm sure Putin would be quite happy to see millions of displaced people if it meant that Assad would stay in power.

  40. Because millions of Iranians who have either fled Iran or wish to do so know what Americans know. Why have so many Iranians fled to the USA and other nations ? Why don't so many Americans flee to Iran ? It is because....Iran SUCKS.

  41. Deflection....not responsive. Why have millions of "educated" and uneducated Iranians fled Iran ? Why have so many gone to the United States of America (Great Satan) ? In comparison, how many Americans have fled to Iran ? People voting with their feet is often the best indicator....Iranians have been voting with their feet for decades....to leave Iran.
