You and other leftists support the open borders madness where known criminal illegal immigrants are released back into the population, where they rape and abuse children, because you would rather let these criminals go, even when their arrests are for rape or child abuse, rather than coordinate with ICE to see them deported. 

YOU support those policies. You and other leftists, when confronted with the victims, their families, cheer on the Democrats refusing to stand for them, ignoring them, and not caring. 

Then... when you are told that ICE is arresting illegal immigrants who have a record with rape or child abuse, you don't care. You still cheer on the protests that are interfering with those officers' arrests. Even when they tell the protestors they are there to arrest a known rapists or child abuser, they still stay and interfere. They don't care. 

So yeah, you can sit here and say you don't support and defend these rapists and pedophiles... but you do. 

Actions speak louder than words.

This is what YOU said about opposition to ICE tactics and "war crimes" on the high seas. Yet in both cases no one anywhere, least of all me, said anything to defend any of those people. I simply think the government should have standards of conduct that respect principles of justice.

I listen to this podcaster quite often - clearly, he is a Conservative, he says that outright, so the podcast has a right lean.

I'm posting it in this thread because I find it really difficult to engage Liberals in any discussion because they seem incapable of any self-reflection and will not admit the Liberal Party has fuqued up Canada royally.  It's just excuses and deflection constantly.  Blame everyone else.  They cannot talk honestly about anything about their party.  They know nothing about policies of either Conservatives or their own Liberal party, and don't seem to care to know.

This morning's Elev8 Podcast discussed a Politico article that just came out, very critical of Poilievre and the reasons why he lost the election.  These 2 young men discuss it honestly, agree that Poilievre should have done things differently.  Good discussion.

One thing they say is that Poilievre should have engaged with Trump and American news outlets during the campaign.  We were all saying that.  I think he didn't do it because, I mean Danielle Smith was screamed at "Traitor!" for engaging with the Americans and the accusation to Poilievre was that he was "just like Trump".

Reg makes the point that the Liberal hysteria and media lies should have been ignored and Poilievre should have gone to the US then.  He says Trump doesn't care what his accusers say, he just carries on and he won anyways.

That's fair.

My point is that, Conservatives self-critique.  Liberals do not.

They refuse to admit mistakes, blame everybody else and their supporters swallow it.
