Radiorum Posted December 24, 2025 Report Posted December 24, 2025 The end of the year always produces lists that sum up the year that has just been. In that tradition, we can make a list of "Trump's 2025 Whoppers" These are just a few of the lies that Trump told during 2025. Quotes reference a lie that Trump told. "One of the biggest announcements in the history of our country!" - announcing a non-existent link between autism and Tylenol "I've inherited the worst inflation in US history ... but inflation has stopped since I returned to the White House." - Inflation was 3% when he took office, and stayed at 3% until Sept, when it dropped to 2.7%. The highest rate of inflation happened around WW1, when it went up to 18-20% "You should have never started the war," Trump said to Zelensky - though it was Russia that launched a full-scale invasion in 2022 "These are reciprocal tariffs,' Trump said in April, though his figures were not based on what tariffs other countries were charging, but on trade deficits. “Already, I’ve secured a record-breaking $18 trillion of investment into the United States.” The White House account lists it at $9.6 billion, and even that is questionable. “Our country was being invaded by an army of 25 million people.” - Under Biden, about 7 million crossed the border illegally. “I was elected in a landslide.” - Trump, who became president with 312 electoral votes, won fewer than Democrats Barack Obama in 2008 (365) and 2012 (332) and Bill Clinton in 1992 (370) and 1996 (379). The electoral performance of those men pales in comparison with the sweeps by Franklin Roosevelt in 1936 (523), Lyndon Johnson in 1964 (486), Richard Nixon in 1972 (520) and Ronald Reagan (525) in 1984. “The price of a Thanksgiving turkey was down 33% compared to the Biden last year.” - The price of a Thanksgiving turkey this year was down, but only by 3.7% for national brands, according to data from the Wells Fargo Agri-Foods Institute. “I’ve … settled eight wars in 10 months.” - the “eight” figure is a clear exaggeration. “Gasoline is now under $2.50 a gallon into much of the country. In some states, it, by the way, just hit $1.99 a gallon.” - Nationally, gas prices averaged $2.90 per gallon in the week ending Dec. 15 - with Oklahoma reporting the lowest average price at $2.34 a gallon. “The price of eggs is down 82% since March, and everything else is falling rapidly.” - The price of eggs is down about 43% since March. Can you add to the list? Quote

ironstone Posted December 24, 2025 Report Posted December 24, 2025 Latest GDP Growth (Official BEA Data) Real U.S. GDP grew at an annualized rate of 4.3% in the third quarter of 2025 (July–September). This was a stronger-than-expected expansion and the fastest pace in about two years. Why These Numbers Matter The 4.3% Q3 growth is above many forecasts and reflects strong consumer demand and ongoing business investment, particularly in technology and equipment. You despise Trump but these numbers are pretty respectable are they not? GPT says gasoline " on average in the U.S., gasoline tends to be higher in “blue” states and lower in “red” states when you look at state-level pump prices. A number of analyses of recent AAA gasoline price data have found this pattern: red states (typically those that vote Republican) often have some of the lowest average prices per gallon, while blue states (those that vote Democrat) often have some of the highest." Pew Research Center: (this would be an estimate of the total number of illegals, not just those that came in under Biden/Harris) The unauthorized immigrant population in the U.S. reached a record **about 14 million in 2023, based on the most comprehensive data available. Preliminary evidence suggests it likely remained around or above that level into 2024–2025, though enforcement increases and policy changes may have slowed growth or caused a slight decline. 1 Quote Beware the Brookfield industrial complex...

Radiorum Posted December 24, 2025 Author Report Posted December 24, 2025 Another Trump Whopper of 2025 – “We identified and stopped $50 million being sent to Gaza to buy condoms.” A big fat lie. Absolutely no evidence for it. The contractor identified by the government as the recipient of the funding said it performs hospital services in Gaza, including performing surgeries and treating malnutrition and has not used any US funds to “procure or distribute condoms.” https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSa3dwpge4J/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== Quote

That’s not a lie. First as a simple point of fact setting a goal and being unable to meet it isn’t a lie. Secondly July 21 was a date that Trump and Carney BOTH agreed to and then Trump sabotaged because he’s been negotiating in bad faith. 7 hours ago, Shady said: So then why is Trump's prediction of ending the Ukraine war being considered a lie? BeaverFever Posted December 25, 2025 Report Posted December 25, 2025 And here’s another: he told the UN that the supposed “proof” that climate change is a hoax and renewable energy is a scam is that all the windmills are built in China while China doesn’t use any windmills itself. But the fact is that windmills are NOT primarily made in China and China has the world’s largest installed wind and solar production. Last year they installed more wind and solar than the entire rest of the world COMBINED. 2 1 Quote
Radiorum Posted December 25, 2025 Author Report Posted December 25, 2025 In the interest of the Christmas season, I am going to insert some truth Trump made recently. But I am going to preface it with a lie he told in 2016. In 2016, he said, “I like to be good. I don’t like to have to ask for forgiveness. And I am good. I don’t do a lot of things that are bad. I try and do nothing that’s bad. I live a very different life than probably a lot of people would think. I have a very great relationship with God.” But more recently, in October, 2025, he admitted: “I mean, you know, I’m being a little cute. I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven. Okay? I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven.” https://au.thegospelcoalition.org/article/ten-years-of-trump-misunderstanding-the-gospel/ 1 Quote

They are in fact the worlds largest exporter of wind turbines too. While you folks love to brag about how much solar and wind they install... they are also installing more coal than the rest of the world COMBINED every year. Quote
