She worked to get him elected because of her dead aunt who was murdered under liberal policy. Then he crossed the floor.

That's pretty damn heartbreaking.  Some guy gets out on liberal bail and while he's on bail he kills your aunt that you love. So you do the right thing and move to have the laws changed and work really hard politically giving up your whole life for a campaign to try and bring about change. And the guy you help get elected spits in your face without so much as an I'm sorry.

This guy is a complete and utter scumbag. This wasn't some minor volunteer, he had to know her story. He just doesn't care.

What a disgusting reaction. Not a drop of empathy in you. Anyone you don't particularly approve of can go f themselves, yet you'll still claim that you care about the environment or that people shouldn't be deported or any of the other nonsense you spout.

Here you go guys. Here's an example of the left today.

This is proposed legislation. So no not after.

Again the self-proclaimed conservative and truth-averse dingbat sides with the LPOC. Shocker

How about if you stop embarrassing conservatives by pretending to be one of us ffs?

Just because you somehow got banned from calling yourself a member of the cult that accepts pedophile-furries as "upstanding members of the community" doesn't mean that you get to say that you're one of us. We don't want you, Michael. We don't even want your dirty little vote. We just want you to stop embarrassing us by pretending to be one of us.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

The problem with left4rds is that you don't value foresight. You think that it's ok for leaders to just continually get even the easiest questions wrong and then steal the correct answers from the conservatives after all the damage has already been done.

The fact is that you guys were stupid, again, as always, and it cost someone her precious life, and now you think that doing what we told you to do in the first place gets her life back. Sorry, dummy, that woman is still covered in dirt because of you and your idjit cultist buddies.

Tough titty?

Karen?

Really?

Go to hell, herbie, you worthless God-damned maggot.

That's a WCM original. Not too shabby.

Really didn't. Everyone says it was a failure of a law and won't resolve the issue. In fact they voted against a decent bail reform law when the conservatives put it forward

And again, typical liberal." How dare the little people complain just because I walked all over them! No your place peons!" That's the liberals for you

If you said that the Liberal gov't was secretly working for someone else against the Canadian people, I don't know what anyone could point to as proof that the Libs were really on our side.

You'd think so, but look how many singular stories vs the other 10 million contrary views get posted and believed by so many to be the normal, happens all the time truth to many.

Nope. The reaction that we're seeing from people like Michael hardner is fairly unique to the left these days. And not just unique but pervasive.

The CPC has always been very reluctant to accept fluorocrossers unless there is a very good reason such as the case of Emerson. The NDP simply won't, demanding that the person run before they be allowed into caucus.

But this guy at least owed a public apology to the people he trashed and to see people like Mike hardener dancing on this lady's aunt's grave in Glee is a bit much.

Yeah they were super reluctant to accept Leona Alleslev back in 2018, weren't they?  🙄

Ex military as I recall... didn't that occur reasonably close to the 2019 election and didn't she actually win her seat as a conservative then?

There are a lot of military and retired members in Chris's riding and generally speaking, they don't go from elbows up to pants down as quickly as liberal voters do. It was mostly their support that gave him the slight bump he needed to prevail in the last election as a conservative. It was a narrow margin and a bunch of people worked pretty hard to get it for him.

Guess what's likely to happen to that support in the next one?

Ya... especially if you knew her and much of her extended family. Esther was a piano teacher and pretty well known, there's a ton of children who will always remember her kindness and patience fondly.

Herb... almost forgot about you:

I brought her up to shut down the goofy notion that the Conservatives are reluctant to accept floor-crossers.  Whether or not you or she or anyone else feels they can rationalize it isn't important.

  • Thanks 2

Cool, looks like you failed then... and as you wisely pointed out, whether you or anyone else can rationalize your failure isn't important.

I failed to point out that they happily accept floor crossers, by referencing their accepted floor crossers?

That's some interesting logic there buddy boy.  🥱

Don't flatter yourself "buddy,"you shut down squat... your reflection on the importance attached to such rationalizations might be worth a moments reflection though.

They were somewhat actually but they knew there was an election coming in less than a year. about the same time if she resigned and they called a by election and ran her again. So they took the 'political' win and she had to run again as a conservative a few months later.

So.... elected in 2015 as a liberal, served almost all of her time with that party, crossed the floor in protest of specific actions, and then as soon as possible was back running for the cpc and won.

This guy was eleected 6 months ago, left because he didn't get the speaker's seat to join a party and a leader he was saying was completely wrong and scum just a few months ago, and isn't scheduled to run again for almost 5 years.

Yeah that's pretty much the same thing :)   Thanks for showing up big guy :)

I bet it was the sort of chummy reluctance you see when a new speaker is appointed.

These politicians really are all the same.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Well there's a big difference, she wanted to leave the Verona court so listen so this was kind of a surprise to the conservatives as well and the more recent case was carney directly soliciting people so it's not like they had to think about it.

Also that floor crossing in 2018 didn't really do much to change things so they had to weight the pros and cons and is this someone that's really a good fit? The more recent one is a lot more significant so they don't care if this guy is satan, they still want him.
