He knows intra-provincial ferries are provincial responsibility. But he has to say something to appease the ignorant BC’ers who can’t tell the difference between inter and intra. blackbird Posted July 30, 2025 Report Posted July 30, 2025 I think the feds are favouring the martimes because that is where they get a lot of Liberal votes. Not so much from Vancouver Island. We saw the same scenario when the feds stopped the carbon tax on certain types of heating systems in the maritimes, but not in the rest of Canada. Again votes count. 1 1 Quote
Nationalist Posted July 30, 2025 Report Posted July 30, 2025 ROFLMAO... BC is complaining about the cost of fairies. Well BC...that's what you get when you cultivate millions of fairies. 1 1 Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.
paxamericana Posted July 30, 2025 Report Posted July 30, 2025 Well well well, is this how the patchwork of hatred works? All the provinces hate each other but pay to stay because why? 51st would solve your problem altogether. Stubborn Canucks just don’t know what is good for them. Quote

No different from BC Ferries which is just important to national infrastructure as Atlantic ferries. This wouldn't have been as much of an issue if the feds hadn't mouthed off about BC's ferry purchase and cut fares on the Atlantic ferries by 50%. Some that cut is being bankrolled by BC taxpayers.
