1: Makes him look like a coward to play it so safe.

2: Fortifies the idea the Cons are a Western grievance party.

3: Hell have to pander to the far right.

4: He'll have to talk about Alberta separation a lot.

5: He may get a lower percentage than that riding got in the general election.

This guy just doesn't have good political instinct.

I'm more legitimate concern would be that we may see Alberta separatists step into the race and that could make things dicier than originally thought. But no, it doesn't make him look like a coward.

The answer is obvious, and the list is long. Housing prices, food prices, the economy, our international standing, our trade with the US and allies, our GDP per capita, our health system, Our competitiveness, the labor market, etc etc 

It's quite easy to see what's broken. And it's quite easy to see who broke it, justin Trudeau and his liberals absolutely trashed this country. Unfortunately mark carney managed to lie his way into having people believe that he would fix it, but as we are already seeing it's just the same old liberals with no actual solutions. He knows what needs to happen because he stole it from poilievre who correctly identified the problems, but he doesn't actually know how to implement the solutions effectively so things aren't getting better. And in fact they'll probably be worse by the end of the year. And worse again by the end of the next year.

Of course, depending how badly things go from with trump from here on out he may not survive past spring. He's promised a budget this fall which is bound to be absolutely horrible, and he'll have to do a new budget in the spring which is bound to be absolutely horrible and by then the other parties will be in a position to seriously consider bringing him down. At that point he's just going to be living on borrowed time

He ran in a LPOC stronghold, in a riding that was gerrymandered by the LPOC in 2022. 

FYI Carney is from western Canada but he couldn't run here because he stood NO chance. Instead he ran in Nepean. Talk about cowardly.... Ouch.

FYI no one in Canada is happy about the way Carney is getting batted around by Trump.

We are clearly not winning right now. Our economy is shrinking while the American economy is growing, gas prices there are still coming down, etc. 

America is open for business, Canada has been hostile since Trudeau took over, and now we have an elephant sitting on us.
