In two words: Conservative hypocrisy. In the worst case it goes right into maga (2020, conspiracy to overturn, election manipulation and so on). Nothing we don't know.

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

Their job is to show up. They failed. They're as useless and stupid as your grandfather.

But she did her job. SHe showed up, she did what she was supposed to do, and due to an error by elections canada they did not count her vote.

Entirely different.

it's beginning to sound like you're not much brighter than your grandfather :)   It is the responsibility of the voter to show up to vote in a manner proscribed by elections Canada.  It is Elections canada's duty to count the votes. She showed up and did her duty, they have failed at theirs.  There must be recourse.

Ok. You convinced me entirely.  I allow your Grandmother's conservative vote and disallow my Grandfather's liberal vote.  Done deal.🤣

Aka Conservatives will blow from both sides of the mouth simultaneously: they oppose proportional system, every vote count. And they complain when FPTP majority works against them. Losers or maga (or both)? Let's figure.

Left4rds breathe from their mouths, and FYI you never made any kind of a point there, dummy.

You may be right about my Grandpa, he was just running too fast and got himself in trouble.  This is why I say let's not count his vote.

But, those innocent 34 liberal voters who did not vote due to an incident caused by someone else.......no, we have to count those!

And then, I just heard 5 more liberal voters were on a plane from Kuwait to that same riding in Canada, but they missed the connection in Beirut due to flight delays!  Totally out of their control!

I tell you; that riding is overwhelmingly Liberal!

What do bugs taste like?

It would be interesting to see how they do the recounts and how they determine there are hundreds of spoiled ballots.  What the criteria is for declaring a spoiled ballot should be examined.  Since every vote counts and in this case one vote may be or is the deciding factor,  how ballots are designated spoiled could be something that needs to be looked at very carefully.  One vote could decide whether a majority or minority government is formed in the this election.

Has Elections Canada destroyed the 'evidence' yet ?

If they’re cheating, why wouldn’t they say the Libs won by 5,000 votes?

Conservative? This is an issue about the bloc, the conservatives were in 3rd.

Sigh. You really are as stupid as your ancestors aren't you :)  Grandad might turn out to be the brain of the family :)

You're missing the fact that the party of lies, scandals, ethics breeches, MSM bribery, libel, fascism, political dominion over the AG, a muzzle on the RCMP, and a leader who's a puppet of China, the US, UN, WEF, and IMF just pulled a rabbit out of the hat, again. It makes "17 significant errors, omissions, and statements that contradict evidence in their possession, but it was just random that it all went against Trump" seem legitimate.

It's entirely possible that what happened there was legit, and that polls are legit when they say that the voters always support the Libs by double-digit margins for the last two months before every election but the CPC always pull ahead by 2% in the last 3 days. It's also possible that Putin, KJU, and Xi win their elections fairly. Do you have proof that they don't win fairly?

Hey, would you look at that, f-face...?

  • Guilbeault throws cold water on new pipeline, says we have enough already

So much for Carney's talk of new pipelines. Election promises are all out the window now.

Guilbeault has nothing to do with energy and pipelines. He is minister for Canadian Identity, whatever that is supposed to mean.

The Liberals are just doing what Liberals do. Lie, cheat, steal, direct taxpayer money to their cronies, etc, and it's all good as long as the CBC gets their cut.

he's in cabinet and in caucus. Sorry but yes, he's going to have a voice.

Of course he has a voice but his portfolio has nothing to do with energy. As a so called Minister of Canadian Identity, such comments don't serve national unity. He might not be long for that job if he keeps shooting off his mouth about things that don't come under his job description.

And his opinion is 1 out of 170. Plus it makes sense to use what you have first, that the federal govt is not going to build and pay for pipelines and doesn't preclude anyone building pipelines east.
If the Feds built and paid for 10 pipelines, that selfish cow Danielle Smith would be griping that wasn't enough and the Feds were 'against' Alberta, its the only play she's ever done.

TMX is not fully used, half the oil is still going to the USA. If other countries will pay more, that should be looked at. The tankers leaving Vancouver are leaving only 2/3 full, as the harbour is too shallow. Dredging it will increase outgoing oil by 33%, that should be looked at. There are LNG pipelines and ALberta only needs to connect to them in BC, and doubling pipes on a existing routes can be looked at.

All of those things can benefit Alberta and can be made to happen far faster and cheaper than carrying on about new pipelines. So maybe rethink what Guilbeault said instead of instantly condemning him as anti-Alberta

BTW about the thread's issue: the Bloc says it will contest it to the Courts, which is a pretty obvious thing to do in their shoes.
But the slobbering as if the Libs losing one seat to the Bloc will be some sort of benefit to the Cons is merely a sign of what makes most of us dislikes about their supporters. Cheering something that hurts others without benefiting yourself is one of the definitions of stupid.

He's a longstanding minister and his opinion matters quite a bit. People but will be swayed by what he says. The very fact that he would speak in contradiction to the government leader is quite telling

And no the feds have not built and paid for 10 Pipelines, and they've killed more pipelines than they've ever built. Remember winter said there is absolutely no business case for natural gas?

And running a pipeline east sells many problems and allows them to sell to the Atlantic countries

All you're doing is coming up with every reason why alberta should be abused further. And it's bullshit.

Let them build the pipelines they want, get out of the way, let them sell the product abroad, pocket the money.

If you don't then they have a perfectly legitimate beef

I just never expected you would be that dumb to raise a question and start a thread over a totally meaningless Bloc Q vote in a totally meaningless riding.  I guess whoever called you CumFux was correct.

well it looks like 'court' is how it's going to have to be

The Bloc Québécois wants the courts to trigger a new election in Terrebonne

Mildy disappointing that the Bloc is the one that has to take on the job of standing up for our democracy but there you go.

Hopefully the judge will allow a byelection, which will make those misprints a fairly lostly mistake. Hope someone got fired over that.
