As long as Ukrainians have the will to fight for their freedom, they should be supported. We were supposed to protect them in exchange for nuclear disarmament. We've not lived up to that bargain. The least we can do now is to provide the conventional equipment they need to defend themselves. 

Freedom is not free, but it's not up to Trump to decide how much freedom is worth to another people, what sacrifices they should be willing to make. Let the Ukrainians choose the terms for themselves.

Do you feel like Russia took some territory from the Ukrainians in all this time, or is the battle still along the original Ukraine/Russia border?

The narrative has always been that "Ukraine is winning", so it seems like the border should have moved back into Russia considerably in all this time, right?

And FYI, just because Ukraine still wants to fight doesn't mean that the rest of the world has to keep on throwing good money in after bad. They're losing. Constantly. 

At some point, reasonable people have to tell them to quit before they just lose more land and their citizens experience more death and destruction. We should not be encouraging them to keep going.

Unfortunately for Ukraine, Biden and Zelensky got "elected", and Biden's strange lust for NATO in Ukraine brought war to them. Now we're in this current predicament, and it behoves us to find the most reasonable way forward. 

It's not reasonable to ask Russia to give up the Donbas. It's theirs now. Time to move on.
