I know that with Hondas, the serial number either starts with a 1, 2 or J, depending on where it's made. I only know that because I read somewhere that if you park a Honda in Detroit, and the serial starts with a J (or whatever the Japanese character is), your car was likely to get vandalized. It must have been during a strike or some threat of job action that I heard that. I don't think it's always like that. 12 minutes ago, robosmith said: The US grew stronger under Biden because of of Trump's gross mismanagement of COVID causing so many excess deaths. herbie Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 As M Hardner pointed out, Americans came to us for our products we didn't have to court the world for buyers. We'll be doing just that now wholehearted, and having multiple buyers for a product doesn't usually make them cheaper. With half the USA opposed to Trump and the rest about to suffer from his self imposed inflation to the notice of the rest, the tourism here should boom this summer. Just think in 4 years when the US is reduced to stumps, oil slicks and groundshaking fracking quakes, they'll pour into Canada. Quote

I think it's worth noting tho that i haven't seen anyone here go that far. And a lot of strong trump supporters even in the states are saying the tarrifs are bad. But i'm sure you're correct that there are those who see trump as infallable no matter what. Edited March 5 by CdnFox Quote

Now with parts crossing many borders many times, the sole effect will be to drive prices up for customers. Which will sell fewer cars, cost jobs reduce the incentive to invest in new factories.
