What people?

Tom, Doug, Ralph, jessica, lawrence, terry, brett, just to name a few . :)

it is actually come up a few times on social media

Here's some examples

Kamala Harris all over again, exactly the same path. Installed, astroturfed, incompetent.

etc.

There are a lot of similarities actually, but yeah  the disjointed rambling speech that really doesn't answer the question is definitely an issue :)

If everyone else is stupid and an a-hole, it’s likely you who is the issue.

I'm not the guy voting for the liberals , you are, so which one are you short sighted or stupid...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

First thing that come up when you search Sky News: Sky News Australia has an editorial policy that follows a conservative, right-wing bias

You prefer a more polished Con man?

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

When you made it clear you weren't voting for PP...ergo.

Partisan zero-sum you're either with us or against us thinking is getting so typical it's ridiculous. 🥱

What's worse and troubling though is that it's signalling a Canadian shift towards a two-party system where the thought of a minority government is practically verboten.

This is how you get rid of the opposition.

Nobody wants to be swindled by an incompetent.  I demand all my snake oil peddlers be of the highest quality and eloquence.  The last one was a Nigerian prince for god's sake and that sets the bar pretty high!

They all get pensions.  None of them have declined them.

I’d vote for the Canadian Future Party if they ran in my riding and had a decent candidate.

PROTECT CANADA’S INDEPENDENCE

The Liberals and Conservatives say we can wait until 2030 to invest 2% of our GDP in defence. With a world on fire and our independence under threat the Canadian Future Party invest 5% of our GDP on defence by 2030 - so our independence is secure, always.

MAKE DEMOCRACY DELIVER

The Canadian Future Party knows government is just Canadians working together. We believe in universal healthcare, early childhood education, and infrastructure that works. Government can’t and shouldn’t do everything, but what it does, it must do well.

DEMOCRATIC REFORM

The Canadian Future Party will give Members of Parliament the freedom to speak their minds on every bill that goes before Parliament and we’ll introduce proportional representation for some of the seats in the House of Commons, making your vote count in Ottawa with a mixed member proportional system.

Good luck with that...

Their military spending is nothing more than a pipe dream.....

You do know that we spend close to 37 billion dollars now and are only at 1.29 % of GDP....to get to 2 % of gdp it would take another 20 billion investment....to get to 5 % as they suggest it would take would require canada to spend 143.250 billion on defence in total....where do you think they could get that funding...OH thats per year as well....it's only 106 billion more ....

I think we should concentrate on getting to 2 % first since that is the ground floor of defence spending...before announcing pipe dreams....

There is always the risk that people will decide your grandstanding and it will turn against you, but generally speaking it's a wise ploy that pays off
