They don't speak f*cking English so you couldn't even talk to one if you wanted to you f*cking POS lying mini-me! Let alone a betwork stupid and corrupt enough to braodcast such tripe. Quite a few actually do speak English. Conan O'Brien did a whole 10 minute skit in Greenland, back in 2019. I learned that may of them speak English, and virtually nobody from Greenland wants anything to do with joining the USA. Don Jr's trip was such a dud, that his entourage had to resort to driving to the local homeless shelter, and soup kitchen, and bribing people with free room and board, in exchange for wearing MAGA hats, and cheering on everything he said, when his MAGA cronies were filming. Radiorum Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Trump is an insulting bully without the decency of a rat, but most of all he is a performer. His whole schtick is performance. He’s a conman all about keeping the base entertained. And distracted. He has to keep them distracted from just how incompetent he is and how there really is no substance to him. It’s the old “fascinate the fools.” With all this talk of taking over the Panama Canal, Greenland, and Canada, he’s trying to shift their attention from the fact he will never fulfill the promises he made - like ending the Ukrainian-Russian war in one day, or carrying out the largest mass deportations ever. Just won’t happen. Just like he never built the wall or replaced the ACA. 3 Quote
NAME REMOVED Posted January 10 Author Report Posted January 10 I hate Trump and the MAGA hyenas. Having said that, I love America and most Americans. As a Canadian, I am glad we are helping them with the California wildfires, since Trump pretty much turned his back on the state. Quote

Speaking for itself. Drumming cannot replace the brain that's gone awol... what would it take to get it? it simply illustrates how insanely deluded the Liberal NDP kooks in Canada are that they advocate for terrorism against America the left in Canada is a lunatic asylum drinking its own psychotic bathwater mind you, there is a very simple way for Canada to defeat America in an economic war Canada could simply drop all its protectionist measures, which only favour cartels in Canada Canada could simply lower taxes to well below America's tax rates presto, there would be an explosion of investment in Canada which would more than offset American tariffs the problem is that Canadians have been brainwashed to be loyal to the Canadian cartels to wit, Canadians cut their own economic throats in defence of narrow vested interests Canada is crippled by its delusional adherence to funding big government overreach so the way for Canada to win, is not to be North Vietnam the way for Canada to win; is to be Milton Friedman's Hong Kong the only realm of the British Empire which ever beat the Americans at their own game Edited January 10 by Dougie93 Quote

Easier to find the many from Ontario that pronounce "they were" as "they wear" instead of "they whir". WestCanMan Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 I don't know what's going on in the Panama Canal. The Americans built it, it's weird if they're getting ripped off there now. I don't have a comment on that. The Greenland thing is ridiculous. I don't support Trump in that endeavour at all. The Canada thing: it's aggressive, rude, and even belligerent, and I'm still shocked that the US MSM is treating it like it's no big deal. On CNN's homepage there are about 40 current stories, and the "51st state" BS is just a "lost in the middle of the page" side-story, and it's not even critical of Trump. CNN excoriates Trump for things that he hasn't done yet but "will" (definitely won't) do, they lie about things he said or did to make him look bad, and when he talks about making Canada the 51st state they can't think of a way to frame that which makes him look like an a55hole? It seems like there's a lot of overt support for this down there, and not many people who are openly against it. godzilla Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 yeah. i participate on other political forums and its the same from Trump fans. utter silence! to Trump's benefit... he's thinking out of the box. if Trump is to be believed, then JT definitely dropped the ball on the old 51st state thing. according to Trump, JT said that Canada would dissolve with blanket tariffs. wrong answer! i mean, i can see that JT was trying to appeal to Trumps humanity. didn't work. i hope the next PM thinks out of the box too. like: - we don't need to spend 2% GDP on NATO. fck em. if we are going to be harassed by our allies into territorial submission. forget it. NATO doesn't need that much support anyways. a small force for grey areas and a doctrine of full nuclear response if any partner invaded. - we get out of NATO. we spend that money on our own nuclear deterrent. see how the Americans like that. My brother in Seattle thinks it's nuts so I'm pretty sure there's lots of other Americans who think so too. But I know what you mean, I'm reminded of the support Putin gets around here, not to mention from Trump. These are The Crazy Years alright. A term Robert Heinlein came up with when writing SciFi about the 80's and 90’s in the 40’s. I started reading his books in the 60’s. Truth is crazier than fiction too. I had higher hopes for spaceflight and the thought I might live on Mars one day though. That said if we had made it into outer space and worse gone Interstellar with the ethos of Trump and the oligarchs leading the way, we'd be regarded as the proverbial alien invaders by anyone/thing we found. Figures I'd likely be regarded as a woke anti-human for wanting to do unto aliens yadda yadda. Aristides Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 MAGA’s. If you want the Gulf of Mexico, don’t get sweaty about China claiming the South China Sea as territorial waters. There is no difference. BTW , how does it feel to go from leader of the free world to neighbourhood bully? How you have fallen. Quote
