West Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Dude apparently had an ISIS flag. Strange how this happens just in time for Trump to take over. Quote
cannuck Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 there was a flagpole mounted in trailer hitch receiver of the pickup truck. The flag was black but we couldn't make out what was on the background. Could well be daish. Quote
CdnFox Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 This is absolutely horrible. The cops at this time are saying that they don't think it's a terrorist act, but as always is the case we can expect the story to change two or three times over the next few days is more information becomes available. Sounds like the guy managed to Wing two cops too but it sounds like they'll be okay thankfully. What an absolutely devastating way to start the new year. It'll be interesting if they can find a motive or not or if the guys just a random nut bar. 1 Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

NAME REMOVED Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 The suspect is a 42 year old Muslim from Texas. It's believed that he had an ISIS flag, but this looks like it was the act of a lone man, and not actions of the group. 1 Quote

Nationalist Posted January 1 Author Report Posted January 1 Huh...Now why would a real-estate developer want to toss everything to do this? Something smells fishy. Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

We'll probably know more in a few days, maybe the guy was going broke, maybe he caught his wife in bed with a trump supporter, anything's possible at this point. Obviously there was something very wrong with this guy one way or another, and from the sounds of things it wasn't 'spur of the moment', he'd put some thought and prep into it at least a bit so maybe he left a manifesto or the like. WestCanMan Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 2 hours ago, Nationalist said: Now the theory is the guy didn't act alone. The cyber-truck that blew up in Vegas and the pickup that ran all the people over in New Orleans were both rented using the "Turo" app. Has anyone else ever even heard of Turo before? Seems like an unlikely coincidence, no? Was Turo some leftard attempt at spelling Turorist? Now I have to look through some old threads here and see how our resident leftards spell 'terrorist'. They only use that word in conjunction with "white nationalist" so the search should be pretty easy. (Don't worry, you can say anything that you want about the leftards here. They're busy participating in the "MAGA civil war" thread, because the whole "New Orleans terrorist attack" thing clashes with their conformation bias: they can't acknowledge that it happened.) I don't believe in "coincidence". A supposedly successful Muslim man, throws his life away for what? To kill as many Americans as possible? A Tesla blows up at Trump's place in Vegas. What's the point? Someone wants Americans to be scared. It appears that "someone" is a bunch of Muslims. Its time for the FBI to do what its paid for and begin deep investigations into all Muslim churches and organizations. 1 Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

If you've booked travel outside of your doomsday bunker in the last decade you've likely been presented with rental options from Turo. Millions of rentals and revenue closing on a billion dollars annually. It's no more meaningful than if they had both been rented from Hertz. Doesn't mean the two incidents aren't connected, but there's nothing to obvious to learn from this. Edited January 2 by Hodad Quote
impartialobserver Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Do you know why they use Turo? No national database. Yes, there is a website but the transactions are simple and person to person. It is not uber where there is tons of information on the driver. The Turo app is a means of connecting two parties. There is no company on either end. Quote
