The definition of "Woke"

Woke has nothing to do with climate change.  Woke is based on group identity politics.

Wikipedia defines it as:  "...refer[ing] to a broader awareness of social inequalities such as racial injustice, sexism, and denial of LGBT rights."

So when you're making e.g. hiring decisions not based on merit but on trying to help "fix" racial or gender inequalities then that policy is described as "woke".  The people who don't like the label just don't like those policies/decisions being criticized because the label is usually used in a derogatory sense.

If people want to keep making (IMO largely cringe-worthy) decisions based on the "woke" precepts they themselves invented and/or are pushing then I see no reason why their own label shouldn't be used to describe these decisions.

True. I just posted an article about that where the work talk show hosts are losing close to 50% of their viewership.

We've gone over the definition of million times on this board specifically and the left always comes back and pretends as if it's never been discussed. Everybody knows what woke is, everybody knows what we mean when we say woke, it's obviously left-wing ideology that's based on feelings rather than facts and is often excessive or impractical or dangerous especially if it steps on the rights of other people.

An adult choosing to have a sex change and pay for it out of their own pocket is not woke. Teachers demanding they have the right to take a child to the doctors to prepare for gender changing surgery without alerting the parents based on their belief that the parents have no rights is woke

We need to stay moderate. The USA is leaning dangerously into an area of history, where its left vs right, not too different than Germany (1930-33), where it was fascists vs communists. We should reject both ideologies, and preserve democracy.

Not really a trump supporter. I've been pretty clear, I think he's definitely a much better choice than Kamala and I think the democrats themselves have become an evil party, and I think trump is far more entertaining to watch and in the long run he's better for Canada
