I disagree but we as a nation are not even doing that much, We should also be checking everything that leaves this country, and not giving criminals here a break for shipping contraband....if both nations checked coming and going traffic that we would not be having these talks about tariffs..

The Americans don't check what is leaving the country, you don't stop at US customs when you are leaving the US. I don't know that any country you would want to visit does. Only one person is pushing tariffs.

Canada is a post national state and according to Trudeau and Liberals Canada must send billions of dollars to other countries around the world instead of fixing the problems here such as the porous border, illegal migrants, and a neglected military and health care system.

"The governor of Canada" 🤣

Oh man, that's a classic troll if there ever was one.

If the US actually does annex Canada I'll be waiting at the border with my suitcase and a pair of sunglasses.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

I just wanna puke whenever I see that worthless primadonna open his mouth. I'd rather watch teletubbies or gay porn - or gay teletubby porn for that matter - than watch f-tardeau speek.

I get that , and thats exactly why the criminals have free rain over stolen goods leaving the country...take stolen cars for instance...worth billions of dollars....do you think Trump is on to something...if they can get a car out of country so easily, why not drugs...and it will never be as bad as what is going on in mexico...but we can not sit here and say our border is secure...when we don't even inspect rail cars coming into the country, and one in thousands of containers....we have the tech to scan all incoming goods, we just need to invest in tech, equipment and manpower....who is going to benefit from all this investment...Canada is...

I agree that we could be doing much more to control what and who comes into our country. We also need much stricter penalties for those producing fentanyl and other drugs. If you had to choose  between being convicted in Canada, the US or Mexico, Canada would be the runaway favourite so we will be the location of choice for drug makers.

You already watch gay porn all the time, so would it change anything if another leader replaced Trudeau?

Just so you don't get your hopes up, no one from the Liberals or NDP are going to win anything....in fact the bloc just might become the official opposition....

Are you offended he didn't offer to "buy" Canada like he did Greenland?

I’ve for years thought that Canadians and Americans should have the right to live and work in each other’s countries.  Keep the border as a checkpoint for security purposes.  Certain Canadian departments could be eliminated by adopting US standards, which we have to meet for product exports anyway.  Canadians could still keep out the guns and have residential tax paying requirements for Americans to access our healthcare.  I’m sure Americans would have their own requirements for Canadians living in the US.  Probably voting would remain off limits for Canadians in the US and vice versa.  There are sensible ways to do this.  It would also mean eliminating most trade barriers, essentially making Canada and the US a single economic zone.

I feel that at this point in time the worst move to make for Canada is to become more involved with the US economy and political agenda regarding the rest of the world. BRICS is gaining momentum and as the world becomes more aware of the weaponized currency (the US dollar) we could see the US lose that weapon and crash and burn. Without that stability Their economy is not that good.

That's not likely to slow down till after xmas.  He's trolling trudeau hard, i think he's trying to pressure him to step down.  If he does it'll be complete caos and when he throws the tarrifs on jan 20 whoever the interim leader is will be easy to push around.

Justin was being insulting about trump before he got elected and was warned repeatedly and publicly that this could have a backlash, then he went and called americans racist misogynists and pissed him off more, now he's giving "the governer" both barrels to reduce sympathy and make him look weak before a trade war.

I'm willing to bet that the #1 election issue, will be foreign interference. Trump does not realise that he is insulting all of us. This is precisely what Russia had been doing to the Ukraine- interfering in their political affairs, and talking about annexing the country.

We are just kidding ourselves at this point, if we think Trump, his inner circle, and FOX News will stop, once Trudeau steps down. Bullies become empowered, when they sense weakness. It will just get worse.

I know that it is frequently said that those on the left have zero sense of humor but even you have to realize that he's not actually thinking that there's any chance that we will become the 51st state  :)

Trump is trolling and it's a hell of a troll as far as trolls go. I would find it more funny but it is really grossly inappropriate for a leader to be slagging other countries like that especially ones that are supposed to be allies. It tends to come back to bite you and it's just a sign of weakness. But I suppose you could also argue he's not actually the leader yet. He's not speaking as the president he won't be the president for another month. So maybe he's getting his last few trolls in before he has to get serious or something.

But that would be all the more reason that Trudeau was completely wrong to go visit him at mar-A-Lago. Running like a dog when he whistled was exactly the wrong thing to do

I'm not even certain if they are Canadian.

A recent Angus Reid poll shows that 6% of Canadians want to join the USA. The fact that the majority of the regular posters seem to feel this way, defies logic, and does not give an accurate depiction of Canadians. If one were to look at Twitter, with all the bots, and trolls, you would think that 90% of Canadians are traitors that would do anything to appease Trump.

I posted an Angus Reid opinion poll earlier that showed only 6% of Canadians want to become part of the US. It was 11% for Conservative voters. It was higher for PPC supporters.

Political forums and social media are not good indicators of what the Canadian public think. If one were to ask most of us outright, there is very little support for it. I still recall in 2020, the guy who started Wexit a year before, put up billboards in Edmonton, Calgary, and Red Deer, with a picture of Trump, and calling Alberta and Canada to join the United States. It got no support whatsoever, and it was quietly abandoned.

Btw  that was supposed to be frequently SAID, not sad ,  sounds more like an insult with sad :) Sorry didn't proof read. Fixed it now.

And why wouldn't you think it was a joke and trolling. It's very obviously meant to be funny and trolling. We can have a discussion about whether or not those kind of jokes are appropriate for leaders of countries to make (tho i suspect we'd agree on that ) but it's meant to be a joke so calling it a joke is pretty appropriate.

And what do you mean 'allowed'?  How exactly did you think we were going to stop him? Are you suggesting we attack the US over a trolling?

As for people like me "enabling" trump,  Don't be silly. First off he needs no enabling. Second off what enables a troll is overreaction and over emoting. It's your reaction that he's looking for, not mine. He's not doing it because he wants to actually hear people laugh, he's doing it to belittle Canada and the Canadian Prime Minister to make him look weak and he's doing it to p*ss people off so that they turn on the prime minister.

And here you come being all pissed off. Way to go.

Maybe you haven't heard this before but... don't feed the trolls :)

So you're saying you're not ok.

Well i think we knew that.

Obviously i can say a lot of good things about canada but i don't think it's healthy to enable your mental health issues. You'll have to get a note from your psychiatrist saying it's ok first. You seem to get really delusional and emotional easily right now.
