Do you know what Paul Manafort was (besides Trump campaign manager)?

Prior to that, he worked for Putin Puppet Yanukovych in Ukraine for 12 years and Russian oligarch (friend of Putin) for 10 years and promised inside campaign info. Funneled private polling data to Russian agent Kilimnik so they could better target trolls and bots to help Trump's campaign. That is PROVEN not ALLEGED.

So you really believe that the 2016 election results were because of Russian interference, rather than a weak Democrat candidate?

If the 2016 election was rigged by Russia according to you, do you believe that any election, such as the 2020 election, could have been rigged?

I don't care much about US politics. I don't want a corrupt old man deeply into dementia as leader of the free world. I don't want his finger on the nuclear button. And when I say 'corrupt' I don't mean the usual Washington corruption, but a man so riven by greed that if Putin slipped him enough money under the table, say to some Swiss bank, Trump would step aside and let Russia do whatever they wanted, not just in Ukraine but anywhere else. The same goes for China and Taiwan.

Strange post.

Trump gave Stingers and Javelins to Ukraine before leaving office. These weapons have helped Ukraine repel the Russian invasion. Did you know that Obama was against sending those weapons to Ukraine and even supervised Ukraine demilitarization itself?

Also, there were many sanctions made by Trump against not only Russia during its administration, but he also started the trade war against China, which the Democrats at the time called the trade war suicidal and isolasionist. Then they came back into power in 2020 and pursued the exact same course; more sanctions on Russia, and maintained and even expanded the trade war against China.

  • Who will win, and why.
  • Which swing States will go to who. Will Michigan remain blue? What about Nevada?
  • Anything related to the election, such as any event that could happen that could have an impact on the election.
  • Trump. However, I give him 55/45 chance. I think he has the momentum. I think his campaign has shown the confidence and fun of one in the homestretch that feels like they are ahead. Harris has been running the last couple of weeks like she is behind.
  • I think Trump will sweep the Sun Belt and barely takes PA. Its still going to be close all around.
  • At this point, not likely. A good chunk of people have already voted. Unlikely anything gets out that is that detrimental to cause any real sway.

It was a combination of Trump cheating with foreign campaign contributions, and Hillary being out of shape, exhausted and over confident.

...and a lying and corrupt b*tch that nobody liked that illegally used a private mail server.  That probably had an impact too.

Oh and anthony weiner.  Why would you hire a guy named weiner? I mean it's right there in the name....

OK, so the 2016 election was rigged by foreign campaign contributions, got it.

So the 2020 elections were rigged too, or not?

Pennsylvannia is THE swing State of the election.

For instance, this is what happens currently according to the polls if Trump wins Pennsylvania according to Real Clear Politics.

If it were Harris it would look like this.

Will we have the results for Pennsylvania on November 5th?

The other thing that hasn't been discussed is that there was an error with the census last time

Census Bureau Errors Distort Congressional Representation for the States | The Heritage Foundation

Republican states got a couple less College votes than they should have and democrat states got a couple more.

So if this election comes down to two seats different because the democrats had more seats than they should have and the republicans have less it is going to be a complete and utter blowout

If what is reported here is true, it is shocking.

The thing is, I will not believe this claim upfront and the source. The Heritage Foundation is a known conservative thinktank.

Look it up yourself. This is known to be true and is well documented. That just happened to be the first source that the Google search popped up for giving you a reference.

You guys are really over the top. The US has an immigration problem but people are coming to the US for the same reason  they always have, in hope of a better life, not to rape and kill. Just another ethnic group to blame your problems on, like the Irish in the 1800's and Italians in the early 1900's. Almost the same rhetoric, word for word.

Illegal immigration is a good thing.

Trump clearly won't stand up to Russia, and has all but announced he'll require Ukraine to surrender much of its eastern territory or he'll stop supplying them.

China's exports to the US were higher when Trump left office than when he entered it. His so-called trade war with them was lost due to incompetence.

Trump is an incompetent imbecile on virtually every subject you can bring up. And the grifters around him as well as many of his supporters are just awful people, fanatics of the worst order who wouldn't have a single issue with cheating in elections or using violence on those they disagree with.

That being said, I deeply dislike Kamala Harris and I'm not fond of those around her either, or the Democratic party. And some commentators I have long respected have stated that they reluctantly support Trump for this reason only. They are hoping a Trump presidency will push back against the identitarian lunatics who disparage everything about the West and its history, culture and values. I might reluctantly support Trump myself for that reason except I don't think Trump gives a damn about any of that. As far as I can tell the sole motivation for anything Trump does is his vanity and his money.

I guess it depends on what you mean by much. But it's worth noting that right now every single day Ukraine is losing a little more of that territory. It's not like they're in any danger of driving the Russians back across the line. Unless NATO actually supplies Ukraine with actual troops and becomes actively involved I don't see how they could possibly exit this war with all of their territory back.

So based on that isn't trump just being realistic? If he can get them even some of their territory back and also get them a defense deal that sees them loaded up with enough hardware to guarantee Russia can never attack them again then that might be the best possible outcome for ukraine.

What reasonable scenario did you envision for them getting ALL their land back without nato engaging russia directly?

The trade deficit between China and the US fell from 418 billion a year to 307 billion a year between 2018 to 2020.

The Democrats kept the pressure on after being elected, while they spent many years denouncing the trade war.

Exactly.

Either we, the collective West, arm ourselves as we should, or we fall. It's not about Ukraine. No one sane person in the West wants to die for the interests of NATO and Ukraine, including Ukrainians themselves. The minimum draft age is 25.

When France was invaded by Germany in the Great War, they drafted everyone above 18.

The Ukrainians don't want to die for their country. Why should we, foreigners, die for them?

Ok then it is preposterous.

Yeah.

but apperently they can't fix it, so if that's why the election is "lost" for the republicans you can bet there's going to be some pretty angry people, given the fact that they were denied their rightful vote and lost as a result.

You don't think covid had a hand in that? I'm wondering, now that I look, what caused the drop in imports from $532b to $426b between 2022 and 2023.

Common trick. The whole "We're right on the edge, get eveyrone out" routine is a time tested way to get people to believe that their vote might matter and to get out. I see some variation of it in every Canadian election as well.

Which doesn't mean they're not in trouble of course. It's the kind of thing they'd post whether things are going decently or not. So it could still be going badly for them, we'll see.
