Furthermore, if they did get that permission, then the captain would be responsible for being on the bridge when they went there. And even if someone else had the con when they got into a dicey situation, it would be the captain's responsibility to take over at that point and get them all out of it.  

This is like if you were driving your Tercel and the transvestite prostitute in your back seat ended up being responsible for you crashing into a mountain.

Sorry, loser. Most of us saw the debates. I'm the first there were two muddled old men. In the second there was one muddled old fool and a woman who was clear and articulate at most times and played her opponent like a fiddle. 

What you saw was a farce, where Kamala insisted that she would only do a debate if she got her own moderators and her own fact-checkers and the "fact-checkers" got caught lying for her.
