I'm just 48 minutes in, I'm gonna have to watch this more than once because there's so much to it all, but at about 45 minutes in Putin starts talking about the beginning of the war in Donetsk (the very eastern part of Donbas).

The way he describes it, the civilian population there was being being bombed by airstrikes before the Russians ever got involved in that region. 

To this point he has already mentioned the 2008 overtures towards NATO ending up in Ukraine several times. In 2008 Bush was still prez...

I'll just admit to a maybe-not-so-small mistake that I've been making here for a while, I thought that it was the Obama administration that got the Ukraine-in-NATO bandwagon rolling, but according to Putin it was Dubya. Obama/Biden just kept it going.

I didn't realize just how much Naziism there was in Ukraine. 

I thought that it ended after WWII, I didn't realize it had such a foothold there this whole time.

Now that I think about it, it was kind of naive to think that Naziism went away for 60 years and then when it came back it just instantly gained acceptance from the Ukrainian gov't. 

I.e., the Azovs weren't the problem, they were a symptom of the problem.

NBC actually talked briefly about the Naziism in Germany in the above article from 1920.

As usual, their article was mainly a hit-piece against Putin, but the truth still seeped into it.

Putin is saying point-blank that Russia isn't interested in the kind of expansionist war that leftards here and on CNN keep talking about. 

I hate to give credence to that stupidity by bringing it up, but Tucker had t bring it up to Putin because it's a leftard talking point, so I passed along his answer. 

Putin said that politicians and journalists only bring up the possibility of nuclear war or expansionist wars as a means to extort money from their terrified base.

Do you think the vax is still safe and effective? Can vaxed people end up in hospitals? ICUs? Can they die? Do they die faster than the whole population of Canada did in 2020? I just never know what stage of the fantasy you're at.

Same with Trudeau... Is this the most transparent and accountable gov't ever? Do they maybe give away too many taxpayer dollars to the media here? Do they get too much back in return? When a Rebel News reporter backs into a cop who's setting a rolling pick, and the cop arrests him for "Assaulting a police officer", where do you think that comes from? Have cops done that to CBC reporters as well? Has it ever happened to CTV eyeball? Of course not. So why is it "Assaulting a police officer" if a Rebel reporter bumps into a cop? Where does that directive come from eyeball? Who do our cops work for?

In Putin's not-so-brief history lesson about the shaping of the Russia/Ukraine border, he managed to include a brief section about Hunka's visit to the Canadian parliament and he missed the part about that Stalin guy. I'm pretty sure he looms a bit larger in this than Hunka and Trudeau.

When Putin talks about China's emerging economy, you get a great sense of Russia's completely different geopolitical reality from America's.

Russians understand that there's ebb and flow in the different regions of the world and they have to figure out a way to adapt and fit in, and the Americans are basically on an island, completely isolated from foreign pressures, and they try to maintain total control over everything.

To be entirely honest i thought his talk of china was more to reassure his people - "Don't worry if the west cuts us off, china's a buddy and pretty soon THEY'LL be an economic superpower and THEY'LL be the ones with all the blue-jeans.

Yeah, but China is an economic superpower. 

America's sanctions against Russia clearly aren't working, and the US currency as the petro dollar actually is ending. It's not just Putin saying it, Americans are saying it too.

It's surprising how much damage Biden's presidency has done to the US in such a short time. If the Chinese gov't spent a trillion dollars on Biden's campaign, it was money well spent.

i just watched Biden mumble for 20 minutes about how "safe" classified docs were in his garage but he also tried to pretend that documents in Trump's basement weren't safe.

We live in a f'ing playground now. This place is a sandbox with a kangaroo court.

I watched it last night and thought it was a pretty good interview except for the rather long history Putin gave at the beginning.

No interruptions, Putin was given all the time he wanted to speak. I would recommend watching the Oliver Stone documentary, Ukraine on Fire to get a clearer picture of the Nazi element to this situation.
