Trump is not going to have an easy time putting up an $83 million cash bond.  I think we’re going to see that he isn’t the billionaire he pretends to be.  Instead “the billionaire” will ask his moronic minions for the cash.  If he can milk them for another $83 million, that is.

By now it's quite clear that their years-long coordinated attack did not turn the public's attitude away from Don Trump. After all the accusations both during his presidency and afterwards, millions still support him and prefer him over other candidates. Why that is, is interesting (MH) and can be debated, but fact remains this will still be a close race for the US presidency. Again.

Maybe is right. From what I understand, civil trial, the jury awarded her ten times the amount her lawyers were asking for. And this is on the presumption of guilt by hearsay. Is he actually guilty? I dunno. But something smells fishy here...    

He hasn't paid it yet and there will be an appeal process that they'll drag on and on for sure.

This looks more like just another politically motivated attack funded by the demonrats. As I've said before, by the time election night rolls around Trump will be facing trillions of dollars in punitive fines, and 1000 years in jail.

Nearly all of the verdict was based upon defamation. When Carroll initially accused him of rape, all he had to say was, “I categorically deny her claim.”  But he did not. He repeatedly insulted her, said she wasn’t attractive enough, said he’d never met her, and more. 
 

So a jury ruled last fall that, yes, Trump had committed sexual battery, aka rape. And the basis was Carroll’s testimony as well as two witnesses who’d she’d reported the incident to at the time. 
 

The very day after that verdict was handed down, with additional defamation charges still pending, Trump again defamed Carroll on national television. 
 

So: Take a minute.  Do you really think this guy is a genius, when he does something so stupid? He JUST lost $5 million and had another case pending, and he defames her AGAIN?  This is why the verdict was so enormous: Trump defamed Carroll numerous times after the verdict was handed down, including during the trial. This lead the jury to award a large punitive damage of $65 million, because without such a large verdict, it’s obvious that Trump would continue to defame her.

I.e., Did Jean Caroll have enough evidence to accuse Trump of rape? Did Trump not have just as much proof/reason to speak out publicly against her?

What's the level of proof required to make such a claim? 

By your standards, it's zero. If a woman publicly makes that claim there is no real recourse for it: Biden has to stay silent on the matter, and be extremely careful that any rebuttal he makes doesn't have the appearance of maligning her. The worst part is that can't even win a suit against her for making that claim publicly, because she is not required to have even the slightest shred of evidence that a crime actually occurred. 

 Anyone can claim victim status and then just run their mouth against anyone they want to with no proof whatsoever by your standard.
