Robert Borden, and WWI, Mackenzie king and WWII, there two , i guess we could also count the Korea war, all would make the covid crises look like a picnic. This country has faced many different things that would surpass covid. I mean Justin threw money at it until citizens thought he did a good job.... i suppose you could make shit taste good if you spent well more than 700 bil on it...

my point being even if we give kudos to justin for handling covid, he is still the WORST PM ever... thats not just forum members saying it, there are dozens of sites quote those very words.

Ranking Canada's best and worst prime ministers - Macleans.ca

Trudeau voted worst Canadian in 'unscientific' online poll | CBC News

These are Canada’s best (and worst) prime ministers: survey (thestar.com)

The spanish influenza that killed more than covid did - Tuberculosis outbreaks.  The great depression.  All those and the examples you gave lasted longer, killed/injured more for the most part, hurt the economy more...

I didn't say it didn't exist. I said the death rate does not support the fear and panic that was generated and that the measures taken were WAY over the top.

You also have to take into account the reduction in deaths from other causes because people were masking up, straying home and distancing.

You also have to take into account the increase in deaths from other causes because of those same things.  Not to mention the economic cost, the social cost, the cost to young people and children who faced statistically zero risk.

All of those costs were warned about but you were so busy guzzling from the fire hose of fear and hatred shoved down your throat by the government that you didn't pay attention to what was really going on - massive wealth transfer from the middle class to the elite class and the data, evidence and statistics that showed a +99% survival rate for almost everyone.

Way to go, more-on. Did you learn anything? I doubt it.

Fewer and fewer people on this forum can cope with disagreement without resorting to name calling and insults. This place is going downhill in a hurry.

You bring it on yourself.  Be honest and direct when you disagree and people will treat you with respect even if they disagree.  Act like a complete lying a-hole and what you're doing is disrespecting others, and don't be surprised if they disrespect you right back.  You don't get to be an ignorant dishonest pr*ck to others and then demand they treat YOU as you'd prefer. Right Hydro-boy?

Actually it is people so thin skinned and insecure that they can't handle a simple disagreement without resorting to name calling and insults.

Actually you're the one being thin skinned and insecure by whining about being called a  name :)   What are you in kindergarten? Do i need to send a note to your mommy about how the other kids won't play nice with you? :)

You  "Other posters here are thin skinned and insecure!"

Also you  "Why do people insult me?" :)

Dude - if you lie, if you're dishonest, if you behave like a sack o crud - people will treat you appropriately. So if you're getting your panties in a knot and crybabying about being called names - try NOT doing that and see if it helps.

Anyone who supported and advocated for the unscientific idiocy that went on for the last 3 years is stupid, IMO.

Anyone still cheerleading and urging on the idiocy is a more-on.

Sorrynotsorry.

Get educated before the next "emergency".

Unfortunately these things tend to happen a generation or two apart.  It's not like we haven't had far worse pandemics before, but by the time the next one rolls around a lot of the lessons are forgotten.

I understand that at the beginning there's going to be an 'overreaction' - because you don't know what you're dealing with and how bad it's going to be, so yoiu assume the worst and take drastic action.  That's understandable. But crap like denying truckers the right to work without  a shot they don't want in year 3?  That's unforgiveable.

And at the end of the day everyone got it anyway.

Three of four canadians have already had covid

You insult us every time you are dishonest or lie in your responses and you just did an entire thread of that to both him and myself.  Not just disagreeing but dishonest.  You will discover MANY people find having someone blatantly lie to their face is the same thing as calling them a name.

He's right. Ya gits wut ya pays fer and having a fit about it just makes you look bad.

Oh and btw  - not for nothing but saying people are 'thin skinned and insecure' is kind of an insult :)   Careful, Your hypocrisy is showing.

So never. You consider just my disagreeing with you to be an insult.

Oh look, The dip is lying and being dishonest again.

First off - as noted thin skinned and insecure is an insult.  So claiming you've never insulted people is a lie. And a pretty blatant one. I mean, there are other examples but that JUST HAPPENED.

Second - nobody said anything about disagreeing.  I said Lying and being Dishonest.  Which is precisely what you're doing by changing that to 'disagreeing".

And yes - being an obnoxious liar and being dishonest is insulting.

But hey - thanks for proving my point about you :)

It was Trump who did that to the truckers. So they blamed Ottawa.

Why are truckers so stupid and what does this say about convoy supporters?

Cant' help myself point out your dishonesty?  Nope - I always do :)   It's fun pointing out hypocritical jerkwads who can dish it out but can't take it. :)

I notice you couldn't refute any of that.  So you admit you were insulting people - and you admit that lying and being deceitful is insulting to those you're doing it to.  And presumably agree that's what you were doing there as i pointed out.

What kind of person would you say that makes you?

Trump passed a canadian law that forbid Canadian truckers from coming into canada without shots while Biden was in power.

LOL :)   hooooo kaaaay kiddo :)    Thanks for putting the power of the liberal mind on display for everyone :)

No, i'm just aware that everyone else has an iq sufficent to know you were completely full of shit. :)

Which isn't a high bar to jump or anything, most toddlers have an iq high enough to realize you're completely full of shit.
