It's just men claiming dominion over women's bodies like they have for millennia. Texas abortion law is a perfect example, the law itself sets people against each other.

You might have a point if you’re side wasn’t the side insisting that men can get pregnant. ?

Regardless, abortion has never been a constitutional right.  It’s never been codified.  There’s a process for that, but none of its supporters have ever attempted it.  Instead they’ve relied on an outdated, badly decided court decisions.

The US about to take a great leap into the 19th Century. Can't wait for the good old days of back alley abortions and coat hangers.

How about this, why don't we act like adults and either wrap it in rubber or use the hundreds of medications that prevent babies.. Why is that so hard to do, abortions are not about making bad choices, well I was too horny to wrap it...or i could not afford it... I did not know better...if they can teach 1 million genders they can teach sex ed...

No, it is just an excuse to be careless, in our throw-away society. don't want it, then destroy it. There are plenty of families out there that would take a baby in a heartbeat.

over 95,000 abortions are performed every year, with 3.3 % of them after 21 weeks, they are ripped into pieces and then sucked out with a vacuum.

Seems like every month the US gives me another reason to be glad I'm a Canadian. In spite of Trudeau.

This will eventually make its way to Canada. As everything does.

Complete nonsense.  All this does is allow states to decide how abortion is regulated, similar to guns.  Abortion law will NOT change at all in most states.

The vast majority are red states.

The Texas law doesn't even make exceptions for rape or incest.

Seems like the driving force behind this is mostly men. An issue all you self righteous guys will never have do deal with.

Do you have kids? Go tell em you are fine if they would've been killed in the womb.

I have two kids and six grand kids. Abortion has never been a personal issue in our family but that doesn't mean I have the right to dictate to others. I'm wondering what will happen when one of the whiter than white worthies who are peddling this has their daughter raped and made pregnant by a black man.

Should she have to do what you or dad or grand dad says or should she be able to decide for herself?

The baby has a right to life

We aren't talking about babies, we are talking about cell clumps as an excuse for superstitions. And, nobody has the right to use another's body for their own medical benefit. But really, we are talking about controlling women, and also wedge issues. But the one thing the right couldn't care LESS about is babies.

Interesting. Presumptuous as hell too.

Really? OK...show me where the US Constitution touches on abortion.

The fact is, abortions were very far and few between...if they existed at all...during the time of the Constitution. Thus as a topic that is not granted to the federal government, it goes to the states. Now...you can agree or disagree with the act of abortion, but the Constitution did not deal with it.

I don't see a way to make this decision without pissing off a huge swath of Americans. But for discussion's sake, lets say Roe V Wade is NOT overturned and the federal laws are made such that an abortion after the 3rd trimester becomes illegal. Then what? Would Libbies be satisfied? Probably not huh? No...states like California would break the law and allow on-demand at any time...even AFTER the birth...to kill the baby. Something I think they're already doing.

And then there's the question of "My body. My decision". Oh really? OK...its my body and I decide what vaccines go into it and what vaccines do not. Nobody can discriminate against me for that decision because...after all..."My body. My decision"...right?

No matter how this comes out, the leak has damaged the SCOTUS. Whoever is responsible, needs to be disbarred and tossed to the curb. And finally...my opinion.

I think abortion must be available to women who are raped, when the fetus is found to be seriously defective, or when the mother's life is in danger. I also think that abortions after 3 months should only happen in the most extreme cases. It would not bother me at all should that become law. However...as we've seen time and again...people will push the envelope to sickening points. Thus should Roe be upheald, I would like to see doctors and women who break the 3 month rule, charged and jailed.

This is a good gish gallop of stupid arguments, that's for sure. Explain to me exaclty where it says in the constitution that I can't club you in the head on Burbon street with a crowbar?

And I've so had it with the unimaginable weak cowardly little pussies, who try to equate a tiny little shot that saves millions of lives with carrying a baby to term, changing your life, possibly dying all for YOUR stupid little superstition.

Spit on yourself you little coward.

The worst are the doctors.  They know better than anyone they are terminating a baby.  They are basically nothing more than contract killers.

So why aren't you considered a mass serial killer? Over your lifetime you will have killed billions you sicko!!

Why are you so racist?

*Racists racistly use race to quietly discriminate against people who aren't their race*

people who are at least kinda ok: "Hey! quit being racist!"

Racists: "Why you gotta bring race into this?"

I swear evey right winger thinks reality is a game that they are trying to win on a technicality.

That's the law. If you think you can argue against this and win in the SCOTUS...go for it Mable.

As for your idle comment about a tiny little shot...a heroin addict takes a tiny little shot...and the fentanyl in it...which came from the Chinese through Biden's open border...kill the addict.

"MY BODY. MY DECISION."

Isn't that the battle cry?

As for you coward comment. Go get your crowbar. But remember...if I get it from you...
